The red pill has been growing since its inception more than five years ago, to more than 201,000 strong (or quite possibly over 1.1 million). The driving force behind this growth is unfortunately the decline and eventual demise of the modern man.

The Modern Man

The modern man was good hearted, cared about others, expected good things out of the world and believed in equality for all. He believed in the golden rule, and believed that the rule of law would enforce it if push came to shove. He tried his best to make the world a better place for everyone. He expected his efforts to have an effect, and that society would reward him in kind. He believed that happiness was the result of good intentions. Sadly this man can no longer survive in the world.

The defining feature and ultimate downfall of the modern man was his desire to fit in. What was once an advantageous trait that generated group cohesion, built society and facilitated comradery has slowly become the greatest weapon used against him. Feminists and those who craved power recognized man’s shortcoming and exploited it. Men, it seemed, would attack other men at the behest of any female cry. They were so intent on saving women, they would even attack themselves.

The modern man tried his hardest to cast off his manhood to answer the cry of feminists. Men were evil, bitter, women-haters, oppressors, rapists, and dangerous. He thought he might find love if he made himself entirely inoffensive and nonthreatening. He failed to realize that he would never be absolved of the sin of being a man. The goalposts for “fixing” maleness were ever-shifting, and no penance paid could ever be enough to satisfy the reparations demanded by the “oppressed.”

We may think that we are better than this modern man. We have learned the lessons of his failure and progressed beyond his desperation. We know the psychological tricks that were used to benefit others at our expense, and we trained ourselves against them. We learned psychology for ourselves and used it for our own benefit. We had finally found freedom in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men.

However, the recent doxxing of an alleged redpill founder teaches us otherwise. Knowing the truth and living by it was not enough to save that man from the wrath of vitriolic women. He stands as a testament to what happens to men who stand alone: They get torn down. Had he not built his own support structure, it could have been the end of his career.

What is coming to replace the modern man is not a better individual. It is not some new way to stand alone. Although we have spent years discussing enjoying the decline, it occurs to me that the reactionary individualism embraced here may be just what the powers that be had intended when they dismantled the modern man. Our blind cooperation was our undoing, but it was our individualism that kept us weak.

The future is going to be built by those who embrace and build power. The new man is a tribesman who builds his strength by joining with his brothers. It is a network of men who establish a fortified ground on which to build their lives, men who defend that stability from the chaos around them. It is men who know their own interests are best served by the success of the group.

In the past we have had the luxury of going it alone. The economy was strong, women were gettable, and men could mostly be men. Now financial independence is a receding glimmer on the horizon, long term relationships are sparse and low quality, and men can be cut down at any moment for offending an abstract morality biased against them. While some still succeed in this environment, it is only a matter of time until most do not.

The answer to this is to band together. Small geographically centralized groups of friends and family cooperating together in the way they used to. There is no point in trying to change the larger culture to accept us. That is how women handle their problems. Instead we will build ourselves up so that we are not dependent on the good graces of this culture. We will form our own cultures and steady ourselves against the slow descent into a fully feminized world.

Life after sex

The man currently accused of creating the red pill actually made me think about something I hadn’t considered until now. Our sexual strategy focus has been important at freeing minds from our anti-male culture, saving lives and teaching men to game, lift, and get laid.

But we have completely ignored the rest of the hierarchy of needs. Men who have conquered their own demons learn the basics of TRP, and get spit out on the other side. They are still missing the essential components to a fully realized male identity.

Men cannot exist as islands. It is comradery that we require. It is a tribe that strengthens us, that enables us to pursue the rest of our efforts and missions. Starting families, creating systems, selling products, creating artwork, exploring the galaxy. These are the men history will remember as great. And the way we’ve prescribed the red pill, these men will never be us.

Pride, honor, and a sense of duty were the driving forces of the modern man. He contributed to society because that was what was expected of him. In return, government and community supported his marriage and family, and a balance was found.

The Puerarchy

The red pill men of today resent this servitude, a broken social contract in which the stick of gender roles for men is firmly in place, but no carrots are to be found. In place of support, government and community encouraged abuse and exploitation. Divorce became the new norm. Families were no longer secure. Men worked to pay alimony and child support at the expense of their own happiness and lives.

Realizing there was no benefit, these men withdrew from culture. In Japan, these men call themselves Herbivore Men. In other countries, they call themselves Red Pill Men. Ian Ironwood dubbed them the puerarchy. The media calls us "Lost Boys."

But it is this resentment and aversion to exploitation that I believe has blinded us to the greatest factor in personal success: building power. Careful not to fall victim to our easily exploited male instincts, we forgot that not all duty with external benefit is without merit.

I believe there’s a new generation of red pill men coming, we’re seeing it begin today. We’re seeing the phrase “red pill” enter our culture’s vernacular. We’re seeing resistance to our feminized culture. And while I don’t think we’re in a position to overtake society, I believe that we are in a position to utilize what we know to gain a great advantage over those who do not share our knowledge.

I have always maintained that TRP is not an activist board, and I continue to believe this. It is sexual strategy and this has not changed. Today I am suggesting that we have narrowed our scope too far to see all of what sexual strategy really entails, and I believe we should broaden this.

So today we are introducing two new flairs, encouraging and embracing discussion to complete the circuit of the new man. The new man doesn’t simply find belonging and happiness in sex. His identity exists all hours of the day. In his career, his hobbies, his friends, and his sexual partners. His success is a summation of his entire life, and it is this that we can now focus on.

  • Culture – Discussion of men’s place in world cultures, and discussion of male interests that are our culture.

  • Building Power - Discussion and cooperation of creating your own power in your life, or building tools, networks, and tribes to engender growth of power and community.

What is it that allows us to succeed? Money? Influence? Popularity? Fame? Building your own success first requires a foundation. TRP teaches building confidence and muscle as the foundation for getting laid. Building power is creating the foundation for success in your life.

As always, sexual strategy, game, relationships, sex, and field reports are all on topic. Today we broaden our topics to discuss the new man's life.

In the spirit of today's announcement, we're going to be making some more announcements in the next couple weeks about new developments to help strengthen communications between men, and building foundations for men. A revised BecomeAMan will be launched this spring, as well as new tools on TRP.RED to help facilitate secure communications between like-minded men.

We are also going to be featuring ideas from the community to build tools to help men. Have ideas? Talk about them here, using the building power flair.

Since I'm being asked by a lot of people in PM, no the claimed doxx on me isn't me. Carry on.

(It is strictly against reddit rules to carry on with an attempt to doxx another user, so we're going to remove any conjecture from this sub on the matter, and I would hope other mods do the same on their subs).

I would really really like to see more posts about "social game", as in, how to create strong tribes of like minded man. A lot of our readers are loners or have atrophied social skills. After you figure out how to grab cheap pussy increasing your social power is the logical next step.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil138 points139 points  (11 children) | Copy

In order to have social power you need to have value to provide to other people. This value can the ability to provide positive identity or feeling to other people. This power can be the ability to provide opportunity or knowledge to other people. Value is quantified by the person receiving not giving.

A person who is not actualized can't lead because they don't have enough value for themselves let alone to provide for other people.

[–]CQC358 points59 points  (1 child) | Copy

This was a bitter pill for me to swallow some time ago. I don't particularly believe this belief has much to do with feminism and associated ideologies (for once) but rather it is and always has been a social red pill to swallow that people once understood naturally.

However, live in a comfortable society where it isn't immediately apparent that shit needs to be done, and this happens. People forget that it's only natural that those who provide some value or use are more pragmatic to associate with, but they are typically more interesting.

With as many forms of escapism and passive entertainment there are now, it is of no surprise that you find many people who haven't cultivated even one aspect of themselves to be useful or entertaining. The truth about people with value who are interesting is that they know intuitively that it only makes sense to hang out with people who are also those things.

Your experiences, skills and knowledge can be summed into what we call lifestyle or what "world" you live in. What people generally want out of friends is for them to be a part of their world or to bring a taste of another world with them. If you are an entrepreneur and have a decent amount of business contacts and you make friends with a popular local musician, then you now have a link to that world and it's subsequent people and events. Every time you shoot the shit with that guy, you get an insight into that scene and how it functions.

With the internet, we don't value or perceive these links as we used to, because information has become cheap, but GOOD information is still not cheap. The best knowledge is still right at the source.

In essence:

Take a look at your friends, you are probably not far off from there in terms of SMV or value in terms of PUBLIC perception. Internally you can be much more, but if you don't prove that it doesn't matter for shit. I used to always think, I wish my friends were smarter/more interesting, but I had to ask, what the fuck do I do?

Cultivate your own life, have friends but don't focus too much on their lives, let them worry about that.

[–]TeleportingToYerMoms3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

This is what I'm working on right now now. In order to live a full life through fulfilling connections with other people, I must become an interesting person who provides value to other people's lives. (Of course, becoming more actualized is also a goal in itself.)

My time should not be spent consuming mindless entertainment and content; instead, my focus should be on doing the hard work of deliberately making self-improvements.

[–]reecewagner5 points6 points  (5 children) | Copy

Can you expand on what you mean by "actualized"?

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (2 children) | Copy

Referring to Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, probably.

[–]francisco_DANKonia3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Seems unlikely because Maslow says you need friends to be self actualized. GLO is saying you need to be actualized to make friends.

how much time do you spend on reddit daily?

[–]AssMaster9525 points26 points  (2 children) | Copy

This is something I've wanted to figure out for the longest. I can make friends and get laid, but I never feel fulfilled when I can't talk to like minded people, having to constantly filter myself.

[–][deleted] 36 points37 points  (1 child) | Copy

With you. In high school I used to feel like I could be myself. I would curse, point out girls' asses, fool around, lightheartedly mess with people, and stuff like that. But I was a good person. I don't know if the world's gotten more PC or I've just gotten older and more paranoid (can't lose job, can't offend women, etc.). But I'm in my late 30s now and feel completely unfulfilled in interacting with peers. I feel like everybody is so damn uptight and offended by everything. Even guys I work with get bashful and weird if I make a quiet comment about a girl in the office or something like that. It's such a buzz kill.

[–]TeleportingToYerMoms0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I despise PC culture myself, but fulfillment when interacting with your peers goes beyond having that aspect of your personality be validated. If you're looking for an actual human connection, you need to approach interactions differently.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (0 children) | Copy

This. I pussy is just that, and a strong social life (not just people to party with) is what I want more than a wet hole and cute laugh.

[–]morphite6525 points26 points  (11 children) | Copy

I'm currently in early stages of working on just that, a system for p2p interactions using standardized principles and practice methods for them.

[–]electricspresident24 points25 points  (10 children) | Copy

Well I believe that there's multiple different issues over the range of loners like me, for example I'm social comfortably, I mean I work in customer service so getting people to talk comes naturally but for some reason I can't seem to make a friendship that results in meets, hanging out, social gatherings...looking back to earlier years I realised friendships and social groups were born out of daily situations like school classrooms, work, family friends, sports, clubs and luck.

But for our main age group here 22+ now things come down to value and this is where I'm stuck you know...being a new person in new town where people are cliquey makes shitt hard so u either have to be hot shitt or lucky to have a good & rewarding set of friends ...I hope your post will answer things like these

[–]jaxqatch22 points23 points  (3 children) | Copy

Being the new kid in town gives you all the power. You can paint your reality in front of all the new people in your life. You can literally build your own frame from scratch. And no one will question it if you own it. Cliquey sounds like you still have a high school mindset where there are predetermined hierarchies of value when in actuality you can form that for yourself.

I have been the new kid In town and used this to my advantage. If you can write your own story you can make yourself the hero.

The new kid scares kids that I used to be like. Because he was possibly everything I wasn't.

[–]aanarchist12 points13 points  (0 children) | Copy

sorry to break it to you dude but most people operate with a high school mentality. you can hold frame all you want but ultimately people will place you in the omega category unless you bring more value to the table than they bring to make up for you being an outsider wanting into their tribe. i've seen it time and time again in multiple age groups, you have to be better than them for them to want to let you in and keep you, objectively better by their standards and their perspective, not yours. i can say i'm a better basketball player than some 6'5 college sports star, and form my reality for myself, but that doesn't cut it in the real world. realz>feelz, objective reality is everything and only the truly feeble minded let themselves be manipulated by a stranger holding frame, he simply gets ousted if he comes in with little more than a big mouth.

[–]electricspresident7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Good perspective but not an answer to the question it's only half the equation of what I'm talking about

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

I guess maybe to an extent, but if you paint yourself as someone super badass cool dude with crazy life experiences and your not that then people will find out... prettty quickly. And then you'll look like either a pathological liar or just a fake. Just switching towns and role playing the person you want to be isn't the answer. If you pretend to be tommy tough nuts in my town you get called out real quick and punched in the nose real quick by guys who aren't role playing. Yeah you can forge a new identity but that comes from hard hard work becoming who you want to be.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (4 children) | Copy

I'd like to second this. Atrophied social skills is a great way to describe it. I can only speak for myself but, I feel as though conversation, or the act of forming deep connections [as quickly as possible], is such a nuanced art, regardless of what one's goals are, pussy or camaraderie. And because of this, I feel like I miss out on meeting as many people as possible, which would only lend itself to improving game, social skills, and social power, all of which are important to getting pussy.

[–]FatStig points points [recovered] | Copy

Leadership. Which is manipulation that betters the recipient.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours5 points6 points  (3 children) | Copy

Partly that's true, but leadership is so much more beyond that, if that is all it is too you, you're doing it wrong. Of course I have a military mindset about it.

[–]aanarchist2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

teach me the ways of leadership sensei. honestly i have a pretty a type personality but most people have serious problems with cooperating with others especially if it means following someone elses lead. dudes always let their ego get in the way of teamwork and i don't have the patience to deal with every single time someone lets their snowflake syndrome flare. it's like leave your shit at the door and focus on the task at hand, or fuck off to cry in your safe space.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (1 child) | Copy

I'll have to hunt for it, but if I can find my lesson plan for leadership from my time at fleet school, I'll see what I can put up.

A big network is the by far most important currency of social game. The more and better friendships you have the more value you have. Especially to a woman since they are completely alone and will latch to a man's social circle.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

most women aren't alone.. they invented the social circle and that's where all of their power lies.

how to create strong tribes of like minded man

Read, "The Way of Men" and "Becoming a Barbarian" by Jack Donovan. He delves into both of these topics in great detail.

What is essential for tribes of men is 4 factors: 'strength', 'courage', 'mastery', 'honor'.

Is there a hub or a sub where we can reach out to/find brothers in our local communities. I live in Toronto and I'd love to connect with other guys to share experiences, tips and horror stories. I'm attending Jordan B. Peterson's lecture series The Bible: A Psychological Investigation in a few weeks, hoping to connect with some men there somehow...

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 30 points31 points  (13 children) | Copy

I have some plans to organize such a feature on TRP.RED in the next few months. Although I am open to ideas on how one could do this without possibly exposing identities.

[–]throw1745328 points29 points  (7 children) | Copy

Vet someone before hand - its not hard to make a throwaway skype account and determine if a person is likely to be legitimate.

There's no completely safe way to do it, but the above measure would probably filter out most people.

Something I've been considering recently, since the pk thing that just happened, is this sub is getting large enough - and having a big enough impact on society - that it's going to be seen as a threat, and anonymity is going to be even more important, especially for people here that are influential.

Reminds me of the Ghandi quote:

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

Might be moving to the 3rd part of that sentence, or heading that way....

I was a member of for almost a decade before it shut down. They had a terrific model for securing user identity. We could use that.

[–]Heathcliff-- points points [recovered] | Copy

how did it work?

[–]yyiiii10 points11 points  (2 children) | Copy

From what I can remember, (having joined almost a decade ago), there were 3 ways of joining. By direct referral of an existing member, which relied on that existing member to vouch for you. If a referred user broke the rules too severely, the referee would also be dinged.

Or though a community-run interview process. There was a whole system set up designed to filter high quality candidates from otherwise undesirable candidates. If this becomes a serious option, I can do a bit more research to get specifics.

Just don't go the way of mgtow cocksuckers and start turning into feminist-like conglomerates because a prospect has their own sense of self.

[–]yyiiii4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

I look at mgtow as a phase in the process of actualizing red pill awareness. I find myself dipping into the mgtow mindset especially when things with my wife get really rough. The thoughts during those times can be very persuasive, but believing them and identifying with their anonymous online in-group is just a trap.

It's digging down into what feelings are beneath the thoughts and what unmet needs are beneath the feelings where real insight lay. For me there is self-judgment, hatred, rage and fear. In my experience tapping into that level of awareness when he thoughts above them are most clear, and present, is the key.

Would this be restricted to males only? Or is that up for discussion? On the sub we are assumed genderless per the rules for posting. I am guessing since we share TRP as a common interest that our face to face encounters would be treated the same.

The last time my state had a meeting that comprised mainly of males with like-minded ideas or beliefs, it was shut down by feminists. I am interested to know what "protection", for lack of a better word, would be offered for any meet ups.

I think GEOTRP but I'm not sure.

But yeah, I live in toronto too, I'd be down for an RP connect in a city where almost every man is a beta cuck & every chick is an entitled bitch.

The worst part about this is that VERY FEW of the girls you can daygame are actually hot; you usually see average or below-average quality girls who think they're above all men.

And don't get me started on the epidemics of HB5's carrying around bouquets of flowers, or everybody keeping to themselves, the hordes of orbiters surrounding said HB5's on university campuses, the resting bitch face that all women in toronto wear at all times, the overwhelming obesity, the housing & rent prices... nice to know someone else who doesn't buy into all that

I'm married so I have a bit of a different perspective, I get the anger and frustration you have for women, though I feel it embedded in bitterness and regret.

For me, the first step was to take responsibility for my anger and to stop blaming the world for it (theres a time for that, but eventually it leaves you impotent and isolated). Then he anger can be seen as energy, so I'd use it to develop my body. Lift, run, get fit. I started to use it at the gym last Nov and have lost like 20 pounds since.

I learned this from JPB: Life is full of suffering, you're not that special, take responsibility for your experience and make yourself strong.

Lol, the six is a funny place. I am sure they call it that because of the female quality here.

I will say this, those bitchy women are there entirely because of the soy fed men here. I've yet to see it in any interactions, but then again. I also don't effeminite...

I've done random catch and release during lunch breaks dog walks and spare time. Women are completely open to game here, and I'd guess you throw a little base in the voice, keep your look sharp, and add a few pounds of muscle... you'll see it too.

to more than 201,000 strong (or quite possibly over 1.1 million).

There is no conspiracy here. The disparity in numbers applies to all subs, not just TRP and the alt-right.

The number of impressions is the number of views of that page. The disparity is between subscribers (probably correct) vs "impressions", which is number of page views in a given period of time.

"Impressions" includes all the people who visit here who are not subscribed and almost certainly includes multiple pages per person. The numbers are picked to appeal to advertisers. Reddit has to do this because everyone else does the same thing, and from an advertiser's point of view they don't give a fuck how many subscribers they are, they care about total visibility and that means page views.

There's no conspiracy here, this applies to all subs. The Disney sub has 78K subscribers and a daily impression count of 200K. That's a 3:1 ratio of daily impressions-to-subscribers. Ours is higher at 5:1 which makes sense given that people are visiting but may not wish to subscribe. We've always known (and encouraged) people to lurk and only subscribe/contribute from a throwaway account.

Anyway..... great article, here's to 500K! Bros before ho's.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy

Before they blacklisted our sub from being allowed to advertise on, they switched to impression count instead, and it didn't add up to 1.1. It also didn't match our internal statistics.

It currently shows impression counts if you type in subs. And they don't match any of those magic numbers that were displayed for a brief period of time.

[–]Pewdielockz21 points22 points  (0 children) | Copy

Great idea! I have seen too many people here who were like "yeah, I will have sex and somehow a exciting life I hope, fuck the rest", and I think this isn't the foundation this sub should be build upon.

I think the two new flairs are an excellent choice, and I hope we will see a great development in the right direction.

[–]RatioRegnum19 points20 points  (2 children) | Copy

The tools of power, as I see them.

Vision: First we must see the world as it is, not as it is presented to us. We must see the real nature of social and power structures, and the threads of which they are woven. We must see past the myriad messages of influence to the intentions behind them. We must see what is valuable, and what only seems valuable, what is power, and what only seems powerful. Above all, we must abandon comforting fictions for hard truths, and look in the mirror in the uncompromising light of reality.

Knowledge: Having seen the real world, we must understand how it works. We must learn how to create value in and for ourselves, and how to recognize value (or lack of it) in others. We must learn to read others, in order to determine their values and intentions. We must learn to influence others, to bring their values and intentions into congruence with our own. We must understand both the reasons why the world is the way it is, and the methods required to negotiate our way through the landscape we find ourselves in.

Discipline: Given the knowledge, we must turn it into skill, internalize it, live it. We must embrace hardship, risk, failure, and pain as the only true roads to personal growth and ultimately, personal power. We must do the hard thing, not the easy thing, and do it over and over and over. There is no mastery, only improvement.

These support each other. Acquiring knowledge requires vision and discipline, achieving vision requires knowledge and discipline, applying discipline requires knowledge and vision.

Focus on these. Power follows as rain falls.

[–]NietzscheExplosion2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Nice. Very Nietzsche:

[Anything which] is a living and not a dying body... will have to be an incarnate will to power, it will strive to grow, spread, seize, become predominant - not from any morality or immorality but because it is living and because life simply is will to power... 'Exploitation'... belongs to the essence of what lives, as a basic organic function; it is a consequence of the will to power, which is after all the will to life.

[–]2kevin3217 points18 points  (3 children) | Copy

Our sexual strategy focus has been important at freeing minds from our anti-male culture, saving lives and teaching men to game, lift, and get laid. But we have completely ignored the rest of the hierarchy of needs.

This was - and to an extent still is - a good thing. You may recall several concern-trolling posts thoughout TRP's history with members saying things like, "Let's talk about something other than sexual strategy" or "There's more to life than just lifting and sex." I also thought this way when I first came to the sub.

We're all aware there are other avenues that lead to some measure of success and fulfillment for men other than sex, but now I understand why the mods were so firm in keeping TRP focused on sexual strategy: Because sex is one of modern man's most fundamental needs and the one thing being denied him for all the effort he put into being the type of man that women claim they want.

Man can't really function properly at an emotional level if he's not getting sex on a consistent basis. Higher-level needs such as community, esteem and self-transcendence can hardly be called fulfilling if he's not getting laid. Man's need for sex is almost as essential as food and water, and without it he's lethargic.

But feminism is so preoccupied with exposing "misogyny" and "rape culture" that it doesn't bother addressing what men really want to know: how to enter into sexual relationships. Men are saying, "'Respect'. 'Consent'. 'Don't rape'. Got it. Now, how do I get laid?", only to be met with "You are not owed sex for anything", or "Put a ring on it and risk divorce-rape, but after I'm post-wall and rode the carousel."

So it's no wonder when a hit piece is written about how "a bunch of misogynists are teaching men how to trick women into having sex", that men flock to the sub.

Your "ignoring" the rest of the hierarchy of needs was crucial towards keeping man focused on meeting his most essential needs first. Now that the tools to have those needs met have been established and entering into mainstream, the OP is simply the call to meeting man's higher needs.

[–]iamanenemy6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

I'm one of those sorts who says there is more to life than lifting and sex. Because -- shocker -- there is. I hope that TRP doesn't go the way of mgtow (stagnation), because it'll be both a waste and a shame.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

Keeping a narrow focus was and is still crucial to the community. The reason people are here and not any other manosphere site is because we keep things on the topic of what works. As is the nature of a sexual arms race, what worked today won't necessarily work again tomorrow. This new development can be seen as a response to a changing marketplace.

I'd like to see more financial discussions tossed around. Saving money isn't hard, but getting a decent paying job or a non stressful job is tough in shit areas when you're born in poverty and refuse to give educational institutions any money. I'm not talking slow earnings like Roth IRA's or 401k's, but actual risk investments or dangerous shit any able bodied lifter can do to get decent pay and have more free time for actually living life. If you're going the LTR route and you both are stuck working 40+ hours a week there's never any free time to actually do exciting things. If the Red Pill can turn kissless, handholdless virgin 4chan shitposters into alpha Chad's, perhaps it can turn poverty stricken dropouts into something more financially.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 24 points25 points  (4 children) | Copy

refuse to give educational institutions any money

I agree with this. The degrees themselves are starting to become as worthless as the paper they're printed on, in combination with the increased tuition rates which they've gotten away with because they spent generations brainwashing kids that they'd die poor and lonely without college. And what do you get for your money? Feminist indoctrination. No thanks.

[–]6ix_0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

There are multiple routes to entrepreneurship, and investing isn't that complicated when you use index funds, which can be withdrawn from at any time and have a steady return in the long term. Mr Money Mustache is a good source, found his blog when I dropped out and was looking around for solid, actionable financial advice. Much of his life advice beyond that matches up with the red pill: lift, cultivate a healthy body and mind, practice stoicism and stash cash so you can go at life from a position of "fuck you"

[–]beachbbqlover points points [recovered] | Copy

The challenge here is that while I can trust you not to piss in my cornflakes for your own benefit when you give me advice on women; that's far less uncertain with regards to money.

It's far too easy to step over the line and suddenly have people scamming each other here for their own profit, like Fox News' gold.

Instead, can we generally agree that r personalfinance is a good place for that?

It's true they're very blue chip.

They offer fair advice to get out of debt and get your shit sorted so you're at the platform from which you can hope to make progress.

I am standing on that platform and ready to start making moves, but the local economy fell out to normal, so every step I've taken so far in the last 3 years has been to keep myself in place. I'm now just a matter of weeks from getting another major qualification and freeing my ties to the region so I can work elsewhere.

I'm looking for land for two purposes: as a fall-back position when I don't have work, and as a retirement property. I'm 35. I tend to get work for 60-90 hours a week for 3-4 months at a time and then long gaps of free time. I make just enough to keep my family going for an entire year off of that. There used to be more work, but now it's this.

I'm also looking to expand my qualifications in my second career so that I can get decent work for some of the other 7 or 8 months. Right now I'm competent but under-qualified, and that leads to harder work for less pay.

During my last free time, I spent quite a bit of time developing the skills and trajectory to build a particular software product related to my trade which I'm hoping will evolve into a business.

There are many parallels between the social red pill and the financial red pill. However, the financial red pill is still an entirely different pill, and swallowing it is just as difficult as swallowing the red pill regarding women. Those who do swallow it successfully will have access to more money just like socially RP guys have access to more women.

Unfortunately I'm not so sure the mindsets go hand-in-hand. Being socially red pilled does not necessarily make swallowing the financial red pill any easier. Thus you'll probably get better financial RP advice from dedicated places rather than here.

The new man is a tribesman who builds his strength by joining with his brothers. It is a network of men who establish a fortified ground on which to build their lives, men who defend that stability from the chaos around them. It is men who know their own interests are best served by the success of the group.

Explain how you reconcile this statement with trp's general mantra of

  • Mgtow are losers

  • MRA's are losers

  • betas/omegas are super losers

What other "brothers" "network" "group" do you think you'll find? Also it's difficult to envision how a group can build anything when it's mantra is "enjoy the decline".

TRP in it's current form is simply unsuited for the purpose you outlay in this post.

This post speaks to my soul... Brotherhood is one of the cornerstones of civilization, but the concept has taken a backseat in recent years. And yet, it's absolutely essential to any man who wishes to build personal power and uphold his legacy. The support network that comes from loyal, like-minded, mentally stable men is a force multiplier; it will help you to achieve your dreams and aspirations; indirectly or directly.

History is overwhelmingly marked with great men who rallied together in order to achieve something great. Today's men have, for the most part, forgotten the importance of strong-willed men who support and respect each other under any circumstances. The widespread lack of knowledge about women has further intensified the issues that our male counterparts now face.

Even if you do not feel any fraternity with your fellow man, you should be able to recognize the incredible, dare I say limitless potential of good men who band together to achieve a common goal. You increase your own potential in life by increasing your fellow mans' potential.

This post is an important rallying cry for men; a global call for unity amongst men who would otherwise be led astray by the powers that be. As RedPilled men, we simply cannot afford to let our fellow man fall when women or society lets him down. The corpses of good men can be seen as far as the eye can see. It doesn't take long to find a man who has fallen victim to the inherent nature of women/society and does not have the knowledge available to help allieviate his condition. It's an absolute travesty, and it must end. It simply must stop.

So rise up! The time is now. Let's build a future that our brothers of old would be proud of.

[–]Future_Alpha6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

rotherhood is one of the cornerstones of civilization, but the concept has taken a backseat in recent years. And yet, it's absolutely essential to any man who wishes to build personal power and uphold his legacy. The support network that comes from loyal, like-minded, mentally stable men is a force multiplier;

The concept of 'brotherhood' has died out amongst most men. In Ancient Greece, men who stood in a phalanx depended on the man on his left to cover him. They could die at any moment and depended on each other to stay alive. I do not know of modern militaries, but in the past, war made brothers of men. Small scale war (between cities) has been eliminated from modern era and there is nothing to hold men together anymore - no more glue. In fact society encourages splintering with concepts like 'individualism' and 'rights'. This is a classic tactic of 'divide and rule', as men who are alone do not present a threat to the State. But a band of brothers is dangerous and can pose a threat to the State and powerful interests if there are enough of them.

[–]Dustin_Bromain1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Ack, terrible. It's time to reverse that societal trend. The Ancient Greeks knew what was good.

[–]jimmy_toes5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

I come to TRP for amoral doses of masculinity, not a tribal support group. It is our responsibility as individuals to create our own networks outside of this sub, and we do this using the knowledge and theories gathered here. Don't tribes come together under the basis that the members believe in a common moral code? I don't share the same morals as everyone else in this sub which is what makes it so great; individualism makes this sub strong.

[–]Kedukc1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Excellent comment, thank you.

You can see the SJW signature over the doxx: they will not attack the idea but the man. They have nothing more to say in the defense of their dying ideology, all they have left is different manifestations of rants. A word of caution: groups are vulnerable to infiltration, more than ever we should be careful of the smiling cats.

yes, r the redpill was very important for my own development. A voice of sanity in the wilderness. But it can't end there. The world is changing in almost unimaginable ways. No one can make a better, non-feminist future by themselves. LIke minded men need eachother in order to actually create the world they would like to live in. That is the art of the red pill.

Ultimately red pill men are going to have to commit to creating their own separate communities run by them and for them, and to tell outsider sjws to fuck right off. Perhaps with a bit of Irish democracy.

Finally, a 'culture' tag. On the purplepilldebate as well as here, I tried talking about 'Great' men of history like Leonidas of Sparta who stood with his 300 against the Persian hordes, like the conquistadors who explored Spain, etc. I was shot down with people saying that this is a 'sexual' strategy. To me it seems like 'sexual strategy' and 'manhood' are inextricably linked. You cannot have a sound 'sexual strategy' without a man who is 'good at being a man'. I can assure you, that Leonidas of Sparta or the conquistadors of yore did not have problems with women.

I think it is important to analyze these men, see what made these men great and how to emulate that into our lives.

Also, I disagree with /u/redpillschool about the fact that we should not become activists too. Like the ancient Roman Republic, we should do 'what works' whether or not it is done by women. We see that women have changed society to their benefit, unless we change it to our benefit, I do not see much changing in our benefit.

One problem I see with unifying is that we don't really agree all that much. We have people trying to bring religion into this. I've seen white supremacist comments and posts. I've seen a lot of anger from you all as well. None of those things are redpill. The biggest challenge for unifying would be setting down a core value system that would apply to all cultures and that we could all agree on. I am not sure that this could happen.

So if your my brother, and I see that hottie first, you will stand down so I get that pussy right bro? I mean you did say we are brothers, so I expect you to stand down if I laid my eyes on that juicy target first. You see I seen it first, so you aren't allowed to hit on that no more... (unlikely you would comply with this request)

Even in this community you compete with each-other for women. You seek ultimately female validation. It is your purpose to live is to get laid, as you said. So if you are in a competition for whom gets laid, and leave out the others so they don't, then you are against each other. Because you could be competing for the same tail.

It is all about supply and demand. There is too many guys demand for sex, and to little supply of sex by women. Women can increase the cost of their supply by simply not playing the game as often, so when many women pull out of the game or make you play with more dates or resources; in any case you will have no choice but to submit if you want that pussy. This is because you have no legal control over the supply.

If you found out females are the puppet masters, and if you want more pussy (this system = matrix) then you will remain in the matrix and be a puppet. That makes you Cypher (not Neo and not Morpheus). Morpheus and Neo wanted to free everyone from the system, they didn't want to 'Game' the system like Cypher.

As Morpheus once said "these people are still a part of THAT SYSTEM and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand most of these people are NOT ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to defend it" -This is the true Red Pill from the original source. Didn't Cypher want to go back into the System? I think Neo and Morpheus wanted OUT and wanted to FIGHT to change the slavery system. Did I somehow misunderstand the Matrix series? Did Neo and Morpheus want back into the Matrix like you? I don't think they did, which makes your use of 'The Red Pill' an abomination, a corruption of what it evidently it stands for.

In order to accept the Red Pill you must unplug from the 'System' It is the only way to play because the game is rigged. When Neo and Morpheus unplugged they didn't seek Matrix validations, they only sought validation from those Unplugged. They were a brotherhood that stood together and fought against a corrupt system. You remind me of Cypher. Do not seek validation from the current system. Stop being INURED on the air you breath in the Matrix, the wet pussy dangled on a stick by slave masters in the Matrix, and your social validation status in the Matrix.

When I first came across "The Red Pill" I saw so many posts about men talking about "getting pussy" and "plates" and all of this other radical horseshit, that I figured this was the end of man, a perpetual adult child who sticks his dick in any available hole, eschews culture and family and basically is nothing more than a self-aggrandizing version of "The Situation" with delusions of greatness and import.

Seeing this post now, I have a sliver of hope.

The missing ingredient that binds together like-minded groups of people has always been a common culture. As many people today define themselves as "white" or "black" or "republicans" or some other such indefinite, amorphous blob label--people have lost what it truly means to have a culture.

And this was no accident, this was completely intentional by TPTB, they have been working to eradicate culture, masculinity and any type of cohesion from our ranks for decades, now.

The problem is the solution, however.

The reasons for everything TPTB have done over the last 50+ years was to break society, break the strongholds that have prevented them from slicing us up and dividing us (mankind) up as mere trinkets for their amusement and collection. They realized, finally, that removal of the man from the picture was the same as killing God. Once you take man out of the picture, there are only women and children.

You can be a man, again. But this means being a martyr. This means standing up for what is right, even if it means being laughed at an humiliated. This means growing your beard out and not apologizing for gazing at women. It means not being a "go along to get along" type of boy, but an actual man, a visceral, powerful being that doesn't take shit from anyone.

Put away your alcohol, your drugs, stop fucking sluts and giving them your power, and start utilizing your energy as what you are--gods on this earth, the biological equivalent of a divine being.

All of human kind is calling out for the return of men.

But there are so many beta-male cuckolds moderating their language, kowtowing to the lowest common denominator and retreating to their worlds of sex, alcohol and drugs when the going gets tough.

Men attack each other, rather than saying, "Exactly..." then continuing to correct the other person and adding their views to the message. Men do nothing in this society but tear each other down like a bunch of fucking crabs boiling in a pot and honestly, it's disgusting, but I can't just ignore it and think that it will not have any consequences.

If you want to know the truth, you must combine forces with every single post-modern, counter-culture movement, all red pillers, all centipedes, all kekistanis all of them must come together and be united under a leader who has the means to show his face and be a man.

Any of you can be that leader for a small group of people, if you have the balls, if you have the faith to show your face and simply say, "I am a man, and I am not going to take this any more."

If it means that we all get fired from our jobs, then it means we all get fired from our jobs. What are they going to do, stop us from working, entirely? There will always be more opportunities, always be more chances.

Fear of having to actually fend for yourself outside of a highly protective system that carefully grooms boys to become beta males through an education system into a neutered, SJW professional environment is the death of mankind, and unless people becoming will to experience discomfort and uncertainty it means the end of freedom as it has ever been known.

If people continue to be scared, weak, afraid of discomfort and potential violent reprisal against them, then TPTB have already won and men like myself are simply waiting for the eventual collapse of society and a return to savagery and third-world conditions to become relevant again.

You, men, are the ones keeping men down. You have the power but are afraid to wield it because it might mean missing a paycheck, or having to sleep on the floor or, god forbid, mean words from women on the internet.

God save us.

You've said much, it's good that we're on our way as men.

As far as standing up goes, let the tides roll. They'll ebb and flow as they do, and it'll be much simpler than someone "standing up."

I think having a verification method for members would be a good idea. Although time consuming for the mods, the only way to ensure that a communication network would be secure is by verifying members and preventing shills/trolls from joining.

[–]blackedoutfast7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

even something simple like requiring users to pass a short, basic quiz over the sidebar material before being allowed to make new posts or comment would help filter out a lot of the idiots who show up and start posting stupid bluepill bullshit.

[–]morphite652 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I second this! Although any close-knit community can get incestuous without careful maintenance, there is a real benefit to weeding out trolls and troublemakers.

man doesn’t simply find belonging and happiness in sex. His identity exists all hours of the day. In his career, his hobbies, his friends, and his sexual partners.

Very well said.

[–]RPBulletDodger2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

In his career, his hobbies, his friends, and his sexual partners.

I prioritize them in that exact order as well.

[–]AnotherGypsy1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Building power is sexual strategy. Everyone wants value in their lives and being successful outside of women is definitely part of that.

[–]-MAurelius-1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I fully support this. The idea of having a community where we can support each other is tremendous. I particularly loved this quote:

"The red pill men of today resent this servitude, a broken social contract in which the stick of gender roles for men is firmly in place, but no carrots are to be found."

Truth. The carrot is dead. The modern man is dead.

I'm excited about this. This is the only thing I've been missing in my life: a truly masculine group of like-minded men that I can call my tribe. My brothers. Guys who will have your back. It's tough to build a band of brothers when many of the men you meet are not on your wavelength. And with "The Fraternity" subs not really doing anything, my hope dwindled even more. I hope men on this sub can find ways to communicate privately and then find ways to come together in person to help each other grow even more. A strong man cannot stand alone forever. He needs support from his tribe. Without a tribe, we will perish.

Glad to see this, I enjoy all your post about game, theories and such. I've taken TRP and applied them to life and I agree it works in all avenues. That's why I cringe when TRP shits on MGTOW and vice verses because essentially TRP is about building the masculine and just making yourself a more attractive individual. And MGTOW there is a lot of information on mindset which builds the character and allows for true independence. Thanks to everyone that contributes, you've helped a old natural Alpha turned beta understand and work towards becoming Redpill Alpha.

[–]SoulRedemption1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I've been here for sometime now and for some reason, this post described the view that I had of Red Pill at its core. It seemed a little taboo at the time for me to mention anything along these lines because some would come out and say Red Pill is about sexual strategy, though it is a well known phrase "Redpill is a Toolbox".

I'm happy to see that this sub is officially taking these steps to establish the strength of men in more aspects and empowering them again with the tools to rebuild the foundation that seems to be tearing apart.

It is and will be a constant battle with oneself for those who have been in the "beta state" to transform towards the "alpha state" because the norm now-a-days is the former. We do not need to fall into a mob mentality and declare war against those who do not understand or try to stand as obstacles. If a change is needed, it starts with ourself, the individual, being that change.

A community that help each other to achieve the journey a man should take shall he want. No one man alone can establish an empire.

Whilst we pursue this, it's always good to keep in mind - "great minds think alike" - but also the second part of that which a lot of people forget "small minds rarely differ"

That is his problem right there. Any action requires an audience that appreciates it. Most people are delusional. For that reason, the herd never rewards the good, only tears it down.

[–]rayray2kbdp1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Herbivore men and TRP aren't really the same. TRP is more aggressive and decided in their agenda. Herbivores are akin to MGTOW except they seem to have never had the ability to decide to go their own way.

[–]Endorsed Contributorsqerl1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Great message as we continue to build and lay the groundwork for future men to carry on.

[–]sebwiers1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Starting families, creating systems, selling products, creating artwork, exploring the galaxy. These are the men history will remember as great. And the way we’ve prescribed the red pill, these men will never be us.

These are generally the men who never needed TRP in the first place. They are part of the silent majority of quiet alphas, many of whom find TRP politics quite distasteful, and not because "brainwashing".

[–]Remember-Hot-Mustard1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Those "modern men" you spoke about were also religious, and that is where their ethic came from. As long as you want to be hostile to Christians, I don't see this movement going very far.

[–]Trumeau0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Huh. That'd mean I'm a Herbivore Man.

The question is where do I go from here? I've nearly achieved financial independence, I lift, chill and effectively exist all day (video games, and the occasional travel binge).

Currently working on the abs I've always wanted, plan is to go to school in the fall, but it's only by questioning our decisions that we can make the right ones.

Who was doxxed, and how can we help him?

EDIT: Doxxing is terrible and powerful because it ignores the reality that people change. Memories, with their imperfections and fading nature, were a great tool to allow someone to adapt and change.

The internet, with its permanent nature, does not allow you to change. Any adversary can take something you said, out-of-context, or when you were younger and less-sophisticated, and put it in front of a crowd. The crowd will think you are that person still, despite any rational understanding of its impossibility.

I know we're not supposed to think outside of sexual strategy, but this is really something that will kill our society if we can't solve it.

I welcome this approach. Talking game may be healing or entertaining but older guys like me should spit more wisdom. One of these days I'll give you guys me own spin on "The evolution of Billy Beta into A. Thundercock."

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

This is how I feel. Finding a brother can be really hard for me, always been. Though these days no one wants to build someone up. The sentiment is befriending someone with influence. This makes sense, but... to me I don't have as much motivation than befriending someone who is actually true. Seem like it's all about the game. To build a tribe you need to be strong. You need to walk the talk. I just find the modern day feminization to be humbling, for the wrong reasons. Those in power cheats, and sometimes those below feel the sting to repay. Some drown themselves in alcohol and drugs; those in power don't realize they cheated themselves since by cheating they create the wrong mentality to look at the world.

We all suffer under stagnation, it belongs to no gender. I believe the gift we have is in the briefest of time when we feel like we are progressing. We progress much faster together. The hilarious lone wolf is too self centered to see. When we become content with fantasy and ego we will become dead in spirit, mind, body, and soul. The lone wolf becomes to engrossed with the ideals to truly separate himself and view from afar, just how much can be accomplished with two brain instead of one, let alone a village. They don't see the potential in someone, they just see the dollar sign.

[–]mothdetective1 points points [recovered] | Copy

How elegantly profound. I feel the same about modern friendships and the sentiment that we do progress faster and better together. And I thought it incredibly pertinent- the thought that as a lone wolf you cannot be complete or see the complete picture and it's important to remember that in changing your social dynamics that you don't end up creating something more toxic.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Agreed. I wasn't too articulate so I apologize.

Sometimes people need to stand on the shoulder of giants to see the forest. That's how I see it. The lone wolf may have a ceiling, but the tribe have an accumulation of experiences from multiple lives that compliment each other. The motivation to do the right thing when someone watching is there, but cowards and the guilty shrinks into the corner, sort to say.

My problem is I do a lot of the things right....but....

I have a great job, workout, a great group of friends, fun hobbies.

I kind of developed a reputation as a fuckboy so as far as actually hanging out with women, keeping them around, I still struggle. It's probably because I just don't have a lot of experience, and I was always shown from beautiful women growing up because my father was Omega cuck

I don't think I really enjoy being around them much other than pursuing sex. Again that's probably because I'm just compartmentalizing it and I don't have experience with it. When I asked myself what I rather shoot hoops or play card games with the boys, or hanging girls and have everybody on edge the whole time because they're trying to get laid, I always choose my friends usually.

I know red pill works, I've seen red pill work, I am red pill. Occasionally I also see these little fat squishy loser guys with hot girls but they're usually young and women are weird in their early twenties and don't really care about a lot of things.

Essentially I turn red pill and a way to get hot girls and get laid, but I have not developed and failed on the front of actually keeping around long-term or possibility is a mate at least for a while, you know, because it's just my turn

[–]IIlllIllIIIllIl1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Man, women can live in a blue pill ignorance just as easily as we did. So we must look past that as well while we carry on.

Has nobody here realised the man the writer is describing? I find that shocking, it's obvious.

This man is the Islamic man.

I believe Saudi money is behind the forces that turn western men into the passive weak pitiful figure you see today.

Muslims are taking over, no mistake. It's going to take a profound throwing off of generations of mind fuck if we want to save our civilization.

Red Pillers better start realising that they are part of the problem. They are outbreeding us like crazy so you can go your own way but do so in the knowledge that you were too focused on your own hedonistic imperative to protect what the men who came before you laid down their lives for and entrusted to you. Future generations will curse you as much as the feminists and leftists and bought and paid for politicians and useful idiots who drive this demographic invasion of our homelands and destruction of our culture.

Although we have spent years discussing enjoying the decline, it occurs to me that the reactionary individualism embraced here may be just what the powers that be had intended when they dismantled the modern man. Our blind cooperation was our undoing, but it was our individualism that kept us weak.

Boom ->

Definitely agree with creating a local support system within our communities. Nothing to talk about publicly of course, but it'll be good to know we have a structure standing behind us when or if we fall.
