In the past five years or so, I have noticed some dating trends here in North America that I felt like sharing with you guys. I'll jump right into it:

Older guys with younger women is actually a thing now.

It was not so common in the early 2000s but these days, I see more and more guys older than 30 with good looking younger women in their early 20s and even younger. In big cities, this is pretty much the norm. While it is true that high SMV guys around their age (Chad, rich frat boys, etc.) are the ideal for most younger women, a cool older guy with a high SMV to some extent has his pick of the litter with attractive younger women. The reason being because I feel like there are only so many high SMV younger guys to go around and because men don't settle down as easily as they used to.

Dan Bilzerian is still an outlier though, while it does seem like you have guys in their 30s dating hot younger women, a 30+ year old guy sleeping around with a harem of attractive younger women seems to be a fantasy that only applies to the occasional Dan Bilzerian or Hugh Hefner.

Online dating is the new normal.

Like almost every young and attractive woman is testing the field with Bumble and Tinder or whatever app they come out with next. A lot of people I have known are meeting their soul mates as well as their ONS through dating apps and online dating websites. Online dating has become the new normal and it has gone from being taboo to being the main way people meet others. The fact of the matter is I don't really see it going away, in fact I think that we are overdue for a brand new big name app to come out since Tinder has overstayed its welcome now.

Adults single past the age of 30.

In big cities, you are actually the weird one for getting married in your mid 20s while it used to be that getting married in your mid 20s was expected. I am seeing more and more women as well as men being single past the age of 30 now and living the single life. Hookup culture has carried over well past the school years and I mean well past the school years. I have found that certain areas of big cities are literally meant to be residence for people who are single past school and want to continue living that no strings attached life.

Being single in general is now normal.

People don't date like they used to, they seem to test the waters a lot. It seems like almost all hot girls who are below the age of 30 are playing the waters and experimenting with different guys as opposed to being settled down at 25. The same is true as I notice for a lot of guys who are younger and high SMV, they work a nice paying job in their 20s and just test the waters as opposed to settling down. It seems like we are a generation of flings and one night stands instead of the generation that gets married or looks towards it at the age of 25. How much longer this persists I have no idea but hard for me to complain about it!

Interracial relationships involving white women are becoming much more common.

Most interracial relationships in the US are between white men and women of color but it is starting to become more common the other way around too.

I don't mean fat overweight ugly white women dating minorities, I mean high SMV white women going interracial. In almost every big city, you will see hot white girls dating black guys, it is more or less the new normal in cities like Chicago and Los Angeles. What has changed in recent years is that white women are branching out to other races.

It used to be rare for me to see an attractive white woman with anything other than a white or black guy a decade ago, now it is not that out of the norm. White women with Asian guys has become a lot more common in recent years and these white women aren't ugly weaboos either. I occasionally see hot white girls with high SMV Indian/South Asian guys too but that is still rare. As for the other kind of brown guys, it does seem like ethnic Hispanic guys (like the ones who actually look brown) with white girl couples are becoming more and more common.

Middle Eastern and Arab guys definitely have it the worst from what I notice, women have the lowest opinion of them compared to men of any other race.

The obesity epidemic in the US is overblown.

In some states it might be the norm but go to any big city and any decent area of a big city generally full of younger people, not much obesity to be found. Tons of fit and decent looking women walking around as well as a large influx of guys who look like they hit the gym. Perhaps a sizable portion of Americans decided to break from the stereotype and as a result moved to certain parts of the country where there are many others like them. In most bigger cities, especially if you go to younger parts, obesity seems to be a big exception to the rule as opposed to the norm.
