I went on a tour with one of the big guns in the company as my tour guide. Total luck.
All three factors played their part, but luck was huge. There was one spot that was made available just as my tour ended, and I had just happened to mention my interest in the job at the same time.
It's a field where there's a lot of competition. I have at least 1-2 people ask me to get them a job per tour, and countless people that apply from home.

I want to believe that two people can be loyal to each other and not have sex with anyone else while they are together. I'm not here to say it's not true, cause it totally is. As a girl who DOESN'T do this, I have been mortified by how quickly my girlfriends would switch gears when their boyfriends were gone.
