Keanu is honestly my role model in life. Genuine good dude to his core. Kind. Charitable. Fun. Prolly knows the score but also knows better than to voice it lest he get slammed for it. Keeps to himself. Doesn't cause problems for others. Lives his absolute best life. He is in my opinion the most positive example for us.

i mean, he is the one. but even more than Dicaprio who is going to get METOO'd for fucking an insta thot, Keanu is true mgtow. no marriage. never even seems to date. whenever random people take pictures of him on the street he seems friendly. can act, learned how to be a badass for matrix/john wick, but seems like a very caring and genuine person. he is THE example of how to go your own way but not become a douche or negative person while doing it.

[β]--Edog--109 points110 points111 points 5 years ago (30 children) | Copy Link
I was SO lonely when my oldest son was 3 or 4 (10 years ago) I would have paid someone just to give me a hug and tell me I was okay. My wife was treating me like something the cat dragged in every time I walked in the house. I am alone now, (sharing custody) and have never been more at peace. That experience was so soul crushing, I really don't think I can ever put myself in that situation again. A relationship? Maybe. Sharing a home with someone you cannot escape from who makes you miserable on purpose? Never.

The older i get the more i realize that as a species we are more alike than different.
The liberal left snowflake SJW's want to believe that there is no one else on the planet like them. That they are unique.
In reality we are all slaves to our biology, which makes us react to situations in a very predictable way. The whole psychotherapy industry is reliant on this pre-determined set of reactions to certain stimulus. e.g. the 5 stages of grief.
When you take this and apply it to your daily interactions the world starts to become both more predictable and less intimidating.
An old boss of mine said to me "Life is easy, its just people that make it difficult". He was not wrong. But when you begin to understand that action A will usually elicit response B, and therefore you can predict and adapt.
It's the core of Red Pill understanding. Women are pre-programmed to behave a certain way, as are we (within a certain set of perameters)
Throws a spanner in the notion of free will.....
Maybe we are all NPC's ?
[β]ThirstySasquatch3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

its the right thing to do. sometimes I meet older mgtow and listen to their awesome stories. thats when i really get confirmation i am on the right track. i am on vacation in Japan right now ( alone and its fucking awesome ). on the plane I was seated beside a 70 year old Canadian mgtow. He got divorced and completely cleaned out in his late 30s, had suicidal thoughts etc. He essentialy became a mgtow then which saved him. He focussed on himself, work business. Eventually he created a successful business, sold it and retired at age 50. He travels the world since 20 years now and he is so incredibly happy.
His life advice: Never marry. Never move together with a woman. If you can, stay away from women altogether. "Free" sex, intimacy etc. is a myth, it always comes costing time and/or money and with risk of getting royally screwed over. Even a hooker can screw you in this day and age. Focus on making money and learn how to invest it for the long run. When you early retire you might need the investments to provide you with essential income for decades. Imagine you retire at 40. You might have 50-60 years of life before you, more than you have lived at that point ! The best way to make money is a business. If you can, start one or many.

Are you asking what NPCs are? It means "non-playable characters." In video games you have NPCs, and you can't control them. They're almost like set pieces, and they just do what they're instructed to do. Calling someone an NPC is like saying someone is a zombie, and that they don't think for themselves.

Out of the 25 years since I moved out of my folks' house at 18, I have lived alone and have been single for probably 20 of those 25 years. Being a A-lister superstar it's crazy to me how he's maintained a spotless reputation in the cesspool that is Hollywood. He's supposedly the only mega actor that doesn't own a gigantic mansion, already knows he could completely retire tomorrow and live in luxury for the next thousand years with what he's made, yet remains humble and keeps improving himself, and there's probably not a crazy activity on earth that he hasn't tried.
When the #MeToo bullshit started, I thought for sure that he was going to get taken down.
Nope, not even a scratch.
He's in his 50's, looks like he's in his 30's, has had 'fuck you' money for decades... how the fuck this man managed to avoid the veritable (and relentless) onslaught of thot pussy thrown at him his entire life is incredible.

The problem is there is a dark hole that you can easily fall into if you arent careful. If you never get over the RP rage it consumes you. There is a proclaimed mgtow at my job.. Nice guy but miserable as fuck. Told me the other day during a break that if he got cancer hed thank god hes finally done. As a cancer and a divorce survivor myself all I felt was pity. The guy says he is mgtow, but all I see is an infinite anger in the guy at losing a dream that never existed in the first place. The dream of the fake female nature and happy married life that we were all told exists as kids. He cant enjoy his own company or his own life anymore because that dream never came true. Quite sad.

And later, he remembered his first years in the city, his years of wandering, his first years of living utterly alone. Here, too, even more than in his college days, it seemed to him that he was always waiting for a letter that never came. That was the time he had eaten out his heart at night in the cell-like privacy of little rooms. That was the time when he had beaten in his knuckles raw and bloody at the walls that hemmed him in. That was the time -and it was ten thousand times, of longing, of disappointment, bitter grief, and loneliness -when his unresting mind had written to himself the letters that never came.

[β]Ixonia3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Unfortunately, being an extrovert doesn't change your experience with duplicitous females. We like to chant "All Women Are Like That" but the real scary truth is that all women are different in their own way. Like precious snowflakes, or at least they are when you're suffering from hypothermia.
[β]tallwheel2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[β]serene_monk2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I'm probably ENTP. I like people but I also don't like them. It's strange
[β]Mad_King0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I must say that brother, i am the same. It is like, i love to talk with them for a while but after some moment i want silence and being alone with myself. I get used to be alone in sooo much, i can not explain it. I can not stand a human being with me stating a opinion or trying to change my lifestyle. It is deeply disturbing me. I am content with myself, i dont like intruders. When i get a deeply loved girlfriend, after some time later, they started to critisize you and trying change the way you are. They try to change the things that they love. Very interesting shit.
[β]serene_monk2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
For a long time, I related with INTP a lot (the way you work or lack of, think about the world, always wanting to read more, procrastinate till the last moment but still pull off god-tier work etc).
For a long time, I thought i was an introvert because of my social disablilty but later I realized, rather embraced, that I actually derive energy from interacting with people. Guess, that makes me an "extrovert" going by the definition.
All the bullying in my childhood made me very insecure and shy. People think I am an introvert because I don't like talking much with strangers or someone who disgusts/bores me (which is pretty much most of them lol). But once I know someone better I am one of the most fun people they can talk to.
I can not stand a human being with me stating a opinion or trying to change my lifestyle. It is deeply disturbing me. I am content with myself, i dont like intruders.
Lol yeah, I have already over-analyzed every decision of my life so much that I am damn sure that 99% of the times, the conclusion I reached on my own is pretty close to perfection for my lifestyle and your suggestion would most likely be unoptimized in comparison.
And most importantly, all the decision were for my own happiness. If you are suggesting something else then that means you don't wish for my happiness. In which case, you should kindly fuck off :P
[β]Mad_King0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I was bullied at my childhood too, is that why we turn into our inself to find peace? I guess so. I believe that the most powerful person who is content by himself and do not need anyone in anytime in the world. But we are still humans and we will fall and when we fall, some help with getting up gets you some places in very short times.
"You know, why we fall bruce? To get up again."

So fucking true!! And this isn't even about women for me (not entirely) I got sick of trying for years to make plans with people. To go places. To do things. Nobody has time. Or they agree, but then bail last second. I have never been socially capable as it was. So it really doesn't help my case when I muster the will (which gets harder and harder every time) to try something with even 1 person. A camping trip. A scenic drive. Hell, a damn movie, videogame day, or even fucking lunch!! "Sorry. I can't make it."
And because I've grown bitter to this over the years, I feel absolutely HORRIBLE when, on the very few occasions where I get reached out to for something (which happens once a year at most) I have had to be that guy and decline. And once even bail. I feel absolutely horrible about it because that makes me a hypocrite. And for me that's VERY bad because I'm a very consistent person when I can be, and I conduct myself to others, to the best of my ability, as I would like others to conduct themselves to me.. Sort of like "treat others the way you want to be treated."
Fuck making plans. Fuck going out of my way for others. I gave that up years ago. I do things myself, and I live for myself, and i'm committing to that for the rest of my life. Going, and staying, my own way. If that's selfish, then so be it.

Perfect. As a single man I look at those idiots with their wives/gf's and I can't help but think "why the fuck do they need this? Are they so crazed about sex, because it's the only positive side of a relationship there is and it's nothing a porn can't fix"...

The loneliest you can be is in a relationship, even married, and not only be by yourself, but tied to a woman who seems to have deep reservations about your being allowed to have a self in the first place.
[β]CiceroVoltaire4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
after 20 years of marriage resulting in divorce, losing half my wealth, paying alimony and child support all I can say is, "no".
While I'm indifferent to women and modern society, I've reflected on my goals, plans and future and my life experiences which have turned me to the dark side.
I live by the following now:
Greed is good.
Selfishness is good.
Non serviam.
I've gone far on the dark triad path and will continue.
it's working well for me.

I've always respected this man because his natural simplicity. He has his own pain but always taken it like a real man, quietly and strongly. Never have I seen him saying any fake big manifesto or theory like those Facebook "artists/philosophers" always do now, while compared to what he lost, their problems seem like a mosquito bite.
This guy is literally the archetype for actual men.
[β]bearinfoxhole2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
I never heard of him getting involved in any diatribe with a woman.
And I'm sure many women won't like this opinion of his if he said loud and clear, and might be aiming for his car, his dog and his house.
Funny you posted this, I watched Johnny Mnemonic last night.

Its funny, after years of depression because of my BPD+NPD dad, I had finally reached this point in life. I was slowly taking comfort in solitude and even enjoying it. Then I met my ubpd wife. And now its just a long distant dream.
[β]CanadianTurt1e-2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I hate to play devil's advocate, but this is VERY easy for someone like Keanu Reeves to say. He's successful, handsome, accomplished. Everyone wants to be around him whether it's men or women. However, the average loner wants company but doesn't know how to achieve the type of status where people want to be around them. It's easy for Keanu to embrace solitude because he can have company any-time he likes. The average loner? Not so much
[β]turbo84212 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you're a loner, why do you want company?
[β]Mykeru1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Perhaps the answer is to work on yourself and your life so "being a loner" is a choice you make rather than a situation imposed on you from without or a psychological difficulty which, despite what you tell yourself, you wish to be cured of.
