Everyone wants to transform from a loser caterpillar into a successful butterfly, but very few actually accomplish this. A caterpillar transforming to a butterfly is called a metamorphosis. To achieve a personal metamorphosis you must follow these four general principles.

1. Entering a personal metamorphosis means to embrace the struggle. The pleasures of life must be replaced with doing things the hard way. This means going to the gym when you would rather chill with your friends, turning off social media even if it means loneliness, and saying no to women when work has to be done. The struggle is why discipline and consistency are required to have a metamorphosis. Every day you must do a little something to improve yourself and be better than yesterday. This requires that you must be at your best mentally and physically, which means you need adequate sleep, great nutrition, exercising almost every day. Time management is extremely important and you must schedule in the stuff that is boring or tedious. You may want fun with the side girl but she will have to go if you don't have time to include her in your schedule.

2. Metamorphosis is being comfortable with being alone and having almost no one understand you. They will not understand that your past is pain, and you’re sacrificing the simple pleasures to earn a future that is fertile with serendipity and opportunities. The fuel of your metamorphosis could be that you are trying to escape your current situation or are mad that women ignore you. Many people are in ignorant bliss of their potential and will not understand why you want to change. They have no understanding that you want to change yourself. They don’t get why you study so much or why you go to the gym six days a week. They just see you as “crazy” for attempting to transform. I highly recommend you enter into Monk mode if you want to transform your life. The solitude from being alone will help you recognize that having little distractions makes it a lot easier to focus on what’s important.

3. Metamorphosis means welcome to your own Haters Club. Many close friends will become insecure around you and attempt to sabotage the accomplishments you have made. Old friends will call you an asshole for not being a “nice guy” anymore with them. They don’t understand that you have a different mentality now. Random people will hate you for no verifiable reason because they see you as a threat to their self-esteem. Old Friends may even call you conceited or arrogant for not wanting to associate with them. You eat clean and cannot go eat burgers with them anymore. The higher you make it the lonelier it is. You must become comfortable finding people at your own level even if they only exist online.

4. Metamorphosis means to do hard work. The majority of people live in Dreamland and take the path of least resistance to get stuff done. They want to do things the easy way, and if takes work they moan and groan. Most people have a victim mentality and believe that those that are successful got there from pure luck or natural talent. These people blame an external locus of control for their failures. They refuse to take accountability for their actions. Many are addicted to boredom and they don’t want to be mentally challenged. You must have hobbies that interest and challenge you.

As you continue your Red Pill journey be aware that you can achieve a personal metamorphosis. It’s probably going to take at least six months before you see major changes to go from a loser caterpillar to a successful butterfly. You will have to sacrifice and embrace the struggle, work hard, and be aware that you must be comfortable being alone in your journey.
