Summary: Why you should stop promoting TRP in public. It doesn't help anyone.

Quote from the post:

So, lots to tell. First off, however, a few things. Before I wrote this, I didn't know what a "red pill" was. Now I do. I kind of wish I didn't, but a few dozen messages kind of made that happen. You know those "debt solution" letters you get when you're known to the county to owe money? That's how those things came in, fast and furious. Some others assumed that my throwaway having the word "red" in it meant that I was a sockpuppet for them. I am not. I don't think they've got a solution that isn't worse than the problem it pretends to fix.

Ok, so listen up you fuckheads. Yeah, I'm talking to you, the guy who thinks he's found the fucking holy grail and has taken upon himself the holier-than-though mission of evangelizing and converting the entire universe to your ultimate truth. Shut the fuck up! Seriously.... please stop.

You don't throw your pearls before swine. Let the dead bury their dead. It's not your job to save the world. It's not your job to wake up every half-baked beta you run into. Focus on your own damn business.

I know what you're thinking because I used to think the same way. You've swallowed the pill, you're starting to see the world in a whole new way, maybe you're even getting some results. You're feeling amazing, you're feeling free, as if a lifelong fog has finally cleared and you can see the world for the first time... for what it actually is. You're feeling great because you're becoming yourself. Naturally, you think that this gift should be shared with everyone else. You feel like everyone should feel the thrill and ecstasy of authenticity.

And maybe you're right... but here's the thing. Not everyone is ready to swallow the pill. Just because you can see the mistakes others are making doesn't mean they can. It's always easier to see ego in other people, it's much more difficult to see it in yourself.

And that's the whole point. Did you stop to think why you're evangelizing in the first place? Did you consider that maybe, deep down inside, you don't really care about "helping the poor betas," but you're actually just looking for validation? What if you're just as deluded as the person you're trying to save? What if the fog has cleared... but your vision hasn't quite adjusted yet?

And to the part of you that's truly trying to help others I'll say this. It's a lesson I had to learn the hard way. I got burned pretty bad with this, and what's worse is that I probably burned the people I was trying to help. Here's the lesson: One of the most irresponsible things you can do is to give freedom to people who aren't ready for it. Read that shit again. Feel free to replace the word "freedom" with "reality". It amounts to the same thing. You might think you're helping them, but you're actually hurting them. It's like giving a knife to a five year old kid and leaving him alone for a few hours. You don't do that shit.

You're also hurting this person by turning him off to the whole idea with your stupid sales pitch. This information is out there. It's in books, websites, youtube videos... all over the place. When he's ready, he'll find it. It's not like this is some kind of secret society. Everyone is welcome, but that doesn't mean everyone should be encouraged to come.

Finally, and most importantly, you need to stop because this kind of thing is hurting us. Evangelizing hurts the people who are trying to make an authentic change. Challenging yourself, creating yourself, becoming the best man you can be is already hard enough. Those of us who are actually doing it know first hand the truth of the axiom, "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down." Why are you needlessly drawing attention to our community? Why are you trying to bring extra hammers into the equation? One of the reasons why I love it here is because TRP values quality over quantity. Let's keep it that way.

What you have to remember is that TRP is a subversive idea. It challenges the status quo. People don't like that. I know it's hard for you and I to believe it but it's true. Most people don't want to be unplugged. Most people just want to live an average life. They don't want to challenge themselves. They don't want to change their worldview. This type of shit is hard and most people's number one priority is to avoid being hassled. People want an easy life. That's why bullshit diet programs and exercise machines keep coming out and keep making boatloads of cash. People don't want to face reality. They want to have their cake and eat it too. It's not your job to convince them that they're making a mistake. They'll figure it out sooner or later on their own. Then they'll come to you. That's when you speak, not before.

Conclusion

Every man who's been through this process has learned one lesson above all. Actions speak louder than words. If you want to save the world simply change the way you act. This will give you results. People will see these results. They'll be curious. And those who really want to swallow the pill will come to you. That's when you can hand them the key, when they ask. Not sooner.
