Love him or hate him, despite all of the attack against him, Trump still manages to gain popularity. The secret behind is success is he speaks like a good salesman. Often he will take longer to answer a question, so he can use a certain phrase to emphasize a point. Also he uses extremely simple words but combines them together to generate strong emotions.

Most politicians use weasle words or hedge their statements to avoid being taken the wrong way or misquoted. By contrast the Donald just dives right in.

In my opinion his "losing frame" is being done to emphasize certain points. Many people on TRP assumes that losing your temper or exploding is a sign of weakness. It depends on what the situation is, in most cases it is. If you blow up over a minor detail, that is losing frame. If you are totally emotionless when you receive news your daughter was raped. That shows you don't care. So when the Donald blows up, in my opinion it is probably staged, it indicates he is passionate about the issue and it is an important issue.

Anyway a couple of articles on how the Trump uses language and an examination of his speech patterns.

Personally I think he is a self serving bastard, but regardless he is a good study.
