Look, I'm not surprised by the daughter making a false accusation like that.

My sister did it to me. While we were on vacation in Florida she attacked me, held me down while calling the police(she's a big, and very angry black woman) saying I was trying to kill her. Without checking for evidence(like my injuries, of course) I was hauled off to jail, and she left me behind in an unfamiliar state. The stench of betrayal was on me for months. My mom didn't even believe me and assumed I was some monster who destroyed a resort(when in reality, my sister did and there were cameras to f-ing prove it. Having to pay for a case you didn't fucking do when you're poor is a headache upon headache.

But to do it in corrupt Polk County, Florida(fucking Bartow) was an all new low.

Trust me, woman can AND HAVE done much worse than that daughter is claimed. But at least my brothers and uncle knew it was bullshit and stood up for me. The females did not.

Needless to say, it forever strained my relationships with the females of the family.

Reading this really brought back those memories. Fake or not, this is some fucked up shit.

Let me say this as a 40ish year old man who really wanted to comment on the r/tifu.

25 years ago my evil step-mother accused me of molesting 1 of her live in Grand daughters and my father backed her for reasons I will never know. She then spread that accusation through out family and friends. Years later CPS discovered her sick fuck of a son molesting a different granddaughter (there's about 8 of them).

My life and some of my sanity was obliterated. I had to move; to keep from being beat up a school, refused service at the local mini-mart, or make a single fucking friend.

I used to love kids now I avoid them. I can't trust that a kid wont be misguided to destroy me again. My relationship with my is forever destroyed. My father seems like a decent guy outside of his TIFU but this isn't something I'll recover from.

OP I hope you get this and understand how effectively you fucked up. My father will be long dead before I forgive him.

WAS your pride and joy. WAS outgoing, funny and kind. If he recovers, everyone will be kept at such an arms distance, I doubt he'll retain the same personality. If your father is ok with throwing you in jail with no proof, then how much can you trust a stranger? If a girl in your family can point a finger at you and ruin your life, how can you stand to be involved with any other girl?

I wish that kid the best and hopefully he can get his life back on track.

I really hope this is fake for three reasons. 1. This is literally one of the most fucked up things I've ever read a parent doing. TIFU is usually full of shit, but for some reason, I can picture this actually happening. 2. The shocking lack of criminalization of the daughter, whose sleeping around and ruining her brother's life in the comments just confirms what we already believe. She should have gone down hard.

This story is probably fake, but there have been many cases where women have falsely accused men of rape:

because they were caught in bed with a guy and felt a little embarrassed.
wanted a day off work.
just wanted some attention.

This is far more common than feminists want to admit! This is why all rape accusations have to be treated cautiously - and makes it harder for genuine rape victims to get justice.

There's even a recent case where a crazy woman in Britain accused a random stranger of "digitally raping" her (i.e. sticking his finger in her pussy) in the middle of a crowded train station - which nobody saw (because it didn't happen). The British courts actually seriously tried to get this poor guy convicted, thankfully the jury saw sense.
