Seems like to me that so many newcomers on this sub have basically cherry picked a lot of the truths that fit their vision and rejected the truths that don't. I say, one of the most difficult yet reliving things to do in life is to accept some of the cold harsh truths about it. Unfortunately, it seems like some of these truths get bundled up or pushed aside by newer who see the world how they want it to be rather than how it actually is. For those people and even for the confused new comers, I present to you the not so gentle red pill truths.
I call them not so gentle because they are going to be brutally honest and shatter this naive vision of life so many on here have.
1 - Status and SMV is all about how others see you, especially others who are high status and high SMV themselves.
Now this is what bothers me the most, when so many guys on TRP say "forget what others think, it doesn't matter". Actually, if you read the 48 Laws of Power, it absolutely matters in almost anything whether it is getting a job or getting a hot girlfriend. I find that the whole "stop caring about what others think" school of thought is for the most part nonsense because of what it can lead to. Status is generally objective, there are high status guys and low status guys, you want to be higher status and not lower status.
We may loosely thrown around the word "status" but it actually means something, that is how others perceive you. I hate to break the news but in most cases; being a video game geek that lacks social skills is not going to win you any points with hot girls and cool guys. The reason this bothers me is because so many guys are using the whole "forget what others think" as an excuse to not only live their sad miserably lonely lives but try to drag others down with them as well.
You can be angry, you can deny it all you want, you can convince yourself that all those people are crazy while you are the sane one, and do anything you want to deal with it but it is true. Now there is an exception to this rule, if high SMV males and high SMV females hate you BUT respect you and acknowledge you, that's a lot better than them not even knowing you exist.
You can do whatever the fuck you want once your status is so high to where it doesn't even matter. Leonardo Dicaprio can show up to a party with terrible style and talk about nerdy hobbies, it's going to be cool because he is Leonardo DiCaprio.
2 - The party animals, socially outgoing folks, people with lots of acquaintances, and a social circle are actually happy people.
I know that the red pill and even popular media have painted the image of the party animal and people with lots of friends as being lonely and miserable in private, well, this is only partially true. People who live just for the parties and social life are generally miserable because they obsess about validation and what no. The truth is though, the average hot girl in her 20s who goes out to parties, drinks, and occasionally hooks up is not that miserable at all. Most of these girls are quite content with their lives and often work decent paying jobs, partying on the side when they get the chance.
Similarly, the Chad who is partying hard on a Friday and Saturday night isn't some miserable loser who has nothing going for him. While most people are generally unhappy in life, I would say that the average person heading out to the bars on a Friday night with their friends is happier than the average person staying in alone watching movies or browsing the web.
After having been on both sides of the fence (loner in my early 20s and party animal mid 20s onward), I can definitely say it is fun. It is fun to go out with others around your age and have an amazing time once a week, feels great! It feels great to spend a Saturday night partying with some friends and then going home and fucking a hot girl that knows you and your friends.
3 - The cool kids aren't going to end up losers who amount to nothing in life.
You may think that the alpha Chad or the stuck up beauty you knew when you were younger is going to somehow end up a miserable failure, this is simply not true. A good number of these people are going to end up in somewhat lucrative professions and many will actually enjoy a higher quality of life as they get older. We like to think that one day the cool kids will pay the price while the geeks are the ones come out on top, this is simply not true. Most of these kids who come from wealthier families and get to enjoy amazing social experiences in their teens and early 20s will also go into decent professions once they have had their fun.
4 - People don't care about how "smart" you are.
We don't care about your worldly knowledge of politics and philosophy, we find it annoying. People don't care how much you can tell them about other people in depth, sounding like a Psychology PhD at an Ivy League while doing so. The truth is, people are for the most part (at least in their 20s) focused on how you look, who you are, and what you can do for them rather than what you say. Hot girls aren't amazed by your intelligence, high status guys don't want to learn life lessons from a pseudo-philosopher, and we're not amazed by your big vocabulary; it just makes you some unbearable neckbeard we make damn sure to avoid.
5 - That carousel riding "slut" you hate still has a ton of options after she hits the wall, your revenge fantasy likely won't come true.
Does not matter if she goes from an 8 in her 20s to a 6 in her 30s, she still has plenty of options with doctors, bankers, and solidly rich guys. The fact is, a to of high paying professions are filled with guys who will take whatever piece of decent looking pussy throws herself at them (betabucks!). So for those of you thinking that she is going to pay the price for her slutty ways when she turns 35, you're wrong, she will still have plenty of options at that age.
6 - Being a loner sucks, most of you need friends (and I use that word loosely).
The truth is, being a loner and social outcast sucks for the most of us except for a few of the misanthropes who have no business being here anyways. Now it seems like somehow people made being lonely out to be the new cool by inventing terms like "lone wolf" but in most cases, the "lone wolf" doesn't come off as the mysterious man but rather some socially awkward low status weirdo.
You're even on this sub posting because you don't want to feel completely lonely. Most of you will benefit greatly from having some sort of friends, even if it is nerdy friends that don't get girls. My life changed for good when I started having a larger social circle and making good friends that I could go out and do things with. I use the word friends very loosely but the truth is, you sure as hell would benefit a lot from having some.
I don't care if you're red pill or blue pilled, you can help yourself a lot by having some people to hang out with rather than being a lonely miserable shut in.
