How do I respond to this girl who is flaking on a date?

Here's the bottom line.

If she's into you, she'll cancel her Tuesday hairfest. If Nick Bateman asked her out for Tuesday, would she mention her haircut? No, she fucking wouldn't, she'd have that shit rebooked for Monday so quick. If she's not into you, it doesn't matter what day of the week it is. You're not in it.

She won't outright reject you. She'll suggest another time if she's interested in you. Which may be a hard truth to realize, she may not actually be interested in you. I wouldn't say "Ok fine would you like to re-arrange", because the subtext communicates already (she didn't suggest another day), and it's not her job to lead, it's yours.

In this particular instance, I would say "have a great weekend then!" Then if after Wednesday she doesn't hit you up, hit her up Friday night for a drink. If another flake happens, then quit with this one.

What you were going to text her sounds absolutely horrible. If want you can just say "Ok, no worries." If she texts you back offering a reschedule then you're fine. If not then next.

I would send the thumbs up emoticon. Wait a few days. Text her when you're doing something cool and your vibe is up. Don't mention her flake. Act as if nothing happened. Don't immediately ask her out again.

Then don't contact her again for at least 10 days. At which point you can ask her out for a drink one more time
