My bf has been stressed this month about work. I haven’t seen him in two weeks and today was the big day. He hadn’t been sleeping well all week. Today after he got home from work I was there and I was extremely mindful to be quiet and not bother or chatter mindlessly. I’ve recently started being more mindful of the fact he’s a introvert and I’m an extrovert and making sure he gets room/time to recharge. Normally there’s a no phones at the table rule for when we are eating. Today we went out somewhere quick to eat and he was on the phone most of the time. I didn’t mind because I realized this is how we likes to relax/recharge. I didn’t say a word and was mostly quiet both in the car and at dinner. After dinner and his big event he kept thanking me and telling me how awesome I was. He noticed me being mindful of the situation and being quiet. I’m also learning silence is okay. He kept saying how he loves me and how he can’t remember a time when I wasn’t in his life.
