In regards to day 8, would reading be considered a hobby? Or would particular topics that I study be considered a hobby? Outside of work, the gym, and socializing with people this is generally what I do with my time.

Make, grow or do something. There will always be an infinite amount of reading possible, but your time for actual experiences is limited.

I'm certainly not an expert, I just made a list of other people's posts.

But, here's my advice: Reading is independent of hobby finding. Everyone should read every day, be it classics, fiction, self-help etc.

Hobbies, most of the time, are a way to develop yourself. The human brain loves accomplishment and exploration; hobbies are a time tested way to do that.

Ask yourself, "What have I always wanted to do?" I'm sure that you will find an answer. Here are some of my hobbies, just as an example.

  • Guitar, teaches discipline and is very fulfilling once you start to "get it"
  • Disc Golf, good exercise, skill development, hang out with your bros
  • Canoeing, hang out with bros, get a tan, workout
  • Handyman, building your own stuff is super manly, also very handy if you are or become a homeowner

Hope this helps! If it doesn't I suggest /r/askTRP.

Wow, an 18 day course on how to become a man.

Hmm, here let me simplify it a bit for you.

Step 1) Grow a fucking pair. Step 2) Think for yourself, never let others do it for you Step 3) Fuck what others think, it's none of your business Step 4) Do what makes you happy. Step 5) Don't be a fucking clone.

If you're not an ectomorph, then you can avoid upping your calories and instead just up your protein.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
