Well, the masses spoke, and they agreed: /r/seduction is pretty crappy, even for game. Now I don't necessarily agree that all the discussion there really is too low of quality to get some good game advice, but it's true, they do come from a blue pill direction, and thus will have a hard time separating good game from bad.

So, due to popular demand, we have launched two new subreddits

/r/trpGAME & /r/altTRP

I want to clarify a few things quickly, and discuss shortly what /r/theredpill's aim is with "Sexual Strategy."

While posts on game have never been explicitly forbidden on /r/theredpill, it's been commonly understood that our discussion of "sexual strategy" was aimed more towards discussion on sexual economics, the sexual marketplace, and best overarching strategies to navigate the market.

But with good sexual strategy, the main tips we give newbies are: hit the gym, learn game, and read TRP. The first and last tips there are easy to accomplish, but what is game and how do you learn it?

/r/trpGame which is now dedicated to the specifics of pickup and general game, addressing specifics such as:

  • What are shit tests?
  • How do you deal with shit tests?
  • How do you approach women?
  • Good ways to close women?
  • How do you have sex with women?
  • How do you have sex with hotter women?
  • Best places/time of day to game women?
  • ETC

You can start reading now with our very own moderator /u/bsutansalt's write up on Shit tests 101

Our Second new subreddit:

/r/altTRP For Gay and Bisexual Sexual Strategies

Our official policy on /r/theredpill has never been anti-gay, but it's clear that the discussion here is for heterosexual men who want to have sex and sexual strategy with women. We don't make any apologies for this; we are what we are.

But because of this, a number of our users who are interested in sexual strategy and interpersonal psychology have been left in the margins, as they themselves are not heterosexual.

Something I've been very sensitive to since I started running The Red Pill is a group of people co-opting our message or modifying our tone. If anything, I may be overly sensitive to it, but with good reason. At no point do I want our discussion to start weakening for political correctness just because some marginalized group feels bad. Being rather intolerant of women coming here and speaking "as a woman" has been a good step towards avoiding the feminization of this space. But the topic of gay strategy has always been a weird topic.

We hadn't allowed primarily gay discussion because of the impending change of tone and direction the discussion would take. But it would be naive to believe gay people don't exists, and in fact it's an interesting topic to consider just how gay people affect the sexual market-- or more aptly, how the market effects the gay population (now and in the past).

So we've decided to start an alternative red pill discussion sub on this very topic. Our new mod has some brilliant insight on game and the red pill, and I look forward to seeing how he applies it to the gay and bisexual lifestyles.

From our new moderator's introduction essay:

"For anyone who finds themselves looking around the internet for discussion or advice pertaining to the realities of a homosexual lifestyle, one problem quickly becomes apparent. Practically all spaces for gay men are hopelessly feminized. Discussion over at /r/gay takes on the tone of “do what feels right for you, hon, and don’t worry what others think. be yourself and everything will work out”. It doesn't take more than one application of advice like that to realize their naivete. One finds himself pinning for the rationality of TRP but with advice applicable to men seeking men."

Various other rules revisited:

The main subreddit's (/r/theredpill) discussion about sexual strategy will continue to be analysis of the marketplace (this includes men's rights topics as well as discussion about culture and social norms/accepted behaviors), discussion on best strategies going forward (places to live, places to mate, LTR/Plate spinning/Marriage/MGTOW analysis) and discussions about human psychology and behavior.

Blue pill and red pill examples are always welcome. Their tags can always be filtered if you do not like these types of posts. You can always view only theory posts if you prefer. Low-quality examples, poor examples, or low hanging fruit will be removed without warning.

Field reports are welcome, with a caveat: Game and pickup field reports still belong on /r/trpgame. Please limit your field reports here to ones regarding sexual strategy. Going out to a bar and making out with a chick is an impressive feat of pickup, but for the red pill, we prefer to see examples of sexual strategies in place, for example:

  • Outcomes of social experiments
  • Results/consequences of adapting strategies (dread/spinning plates/MMSL)
  • Results of large sample groups experiments (If you've been lifting weights, report back after a few months, not the first chick you pick up).

/r/ThankTRP will continue to be for thank-you success stories.

Red Pill Theory

As always, discussion on the theory itself is always welcome.

  • Analysis on marketplace realities
  • How different cultures affect our strategies
  • Changes in the marketplace
  • Discussions of evolution and psychology
  • Anything that contradicts expected results
  • Anything that sheds new light on a topic or a new perspective

What sort of post is welcome?

Good question. Instead of giving one-time platitude advice "Do this" or "don't do this," make a post that sparks a discussion. Analyze trends, give your perspective, but open the floor for others to give interpretations.

Instead of saying "never be this.." make a post analyzing the behavior in question and ask, "is this behavior beneficial to your goals?"

Many people here will have differing strategies. Some MGTOW, while others spinning plates. Some in LTRs playing a heavier beta-game, while others looking for nothing more than ONS. Do not assume you have one-size fits all advice, but instead, discuss the ins and outs of behaviors, what their effects are, and when they might be appropriate or detrimental.

"Never cry in front of a woman" should be "On crying, emotional weakness, and its effects..."

"Never lose frame" should be "The dynamics and effects of psychological frames/stoicism/power dynamics"

Low quality posts telling people what to do without a real analysis are pointless platitudes.

If your post is removed without warning

I'm sorry that your post was removed. You have permission to try submitting it to one of the more apt brother subs that we have (such as /r/thanktrp or /r/asktrp ). We get a lot of posts and comments, so we may not have time to individually address the content that got it removed.

I would like to see moderators who remove posts that are incorrect subreddits send a message to the poster encouraging them to post it in the correct subreddit. Nothing sucks more then having it removed and have no idea why.

Amazing! Looking foward to see the growing of /r/trpgame. /r/seduction has gone to shit nowadays

The new banners on the subreddits look sleek.

Thanks!

Im so happy that you guys made a Gay TRP. I was getting tired of gays coming on here and asking straight males on how to get dick.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I've been curious for awhile now...what is the significance behind your username?

[–]ThisShitRules1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Why is there a blue pill on trpgame?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Ran out of colors! But seriously, blue is a cool color. The red pill is a metaphor.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Use green 4tw... all blue pills must die. except viagra for our older members.

[–]2johnnight1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

There was an influx of new subscribers on the 25th April: http://redditmetrics.com/r/TheRedPill Anybody knows why?

[–]WHORE_BATH0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

That was when the girl posted I think. Looks like mods deleted it.

[–]batfish550 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It might be pleasant to have "this belongs on /r/not_this_sub" posts deleted, especially if non-appropriate posts will be deleted anyway.

[–]shua21890 points1 point  (9 children) | Copy Link

What's the point of the flair anymore?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Lets you sort by topic easily.

[–]CocaineOnThaSink0 points1 point  (6 children) | Copy Link

I get it. That is if you're saying what I think you're saying. In that case, I agree and feel all these new subreddits are already here and can be answered here.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

The problem is the newbie-game style questions and posts were never really common here, and now that they've gotten more prevalent, the focus on strategy has been a little weakened.

So we make a new place for seddit refugees.

I agree that the sexual strategy may be identical- but it is important for gay people to have a place to discuss how they make these distinctions. For us it's easy- the woman has tits. But for gay men, who's the bitch? Can they both be bitch at different times? There is some fine tuning on the theory needed for this.

I agree, though, it won't blow up as much. Probably because there just aren't as many gay men. My guess is that it will level off at about 2,000 subscribers in 1 year.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it's a great idea. If anything it just shows the overall breadth of Game principals and how it's fundamental elements apply to all humans, not just a bunch of he-men-woman-haters from the Little Rascals. The feminists can't as easily get away with calling gay RP men misogynists!

And us RPW can identify with being in the sexual minority...we are patiently waiting until it's safe enough to come out of the RP closet as the outside world is unnecessarily judgmental about our choice to be feminine women.

[–]shua21890 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

That's exactly what I was implying.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

As you know, the flair lets us divide particular topics into subtopics. But when the volume of a particular topic starts to become so popular that other topics never make it to the front page- you have yourself a signal issue. Which is why we've decided to break it down into a new sub. It was starting to become an issue, but had not yet become an emergency. Just a good time to strike.

[–]Villaintine-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The only ones I find questionable are the Men's Rights and askTRP ones, as there are specific subreddits specifically for that content.

[–]chakravanti930 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm sorry

What a great kickoff!

[–]mikelovesvegas-1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

Thanks to /u/Brown_Piper for making a space where homosexuals can explore how unplugging can benefit them, without having to clutter up /r/TheRedPill with closeted, concern-trolling guys giving each other high fives.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Isnt the whole point of being a homosexual to getting plugged? Why would a homosexual want to get unplugged, if not to get replugged seconds later?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

The world is full of all sorts of plugs, why pick just one? You've got to be open to these sorts of things. Having such great people like GLO really help ease the process along.

[–]Senior Contributor: "The Court Jester"GayLubeOil0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I was making a joke about homosexuals having anal sex. I thought that was pretty obvious.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I got it. Plugs, open, GLO...I was trying to keep the joke rolling. Sigh I'll go sit in the corner.

[–]RedSpic-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is awesome! Imean I'm not bisexual but I hang with by girls and gay guys and shit goes down. Seddit sucks for game, being here helps ALOT but we really needed this. Like Bad. Subscribed and going over to trpgame!

[–]L1amas-1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

New guy here. Just pointing out - I hate that asktrp and trpgame are so closely under the microscope of thebluepill. It really discourages people from asking questions when hundreds of trolls are eagerly waiting to berate them simply for asking questions. (I honestly can't even imagine why a subreddit even exists whose sole purpose is to troll another group of subreddits. Mind-boggling.)

You guys do a great job of keeping most of them out, by the way.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's just the way of the world I think. When people are unable to debate a point that they disagree with they resort to raising their voices and trying to disrupt others to prevent them being heard.

Thankfully it stops at that on Reddit, it doesn't always in real life...

[–]SouthwellR-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

alt looks like an interesting read, whilst I'm not going to be implementing it - as I fuck girls - comparing the theory to that of TRP should be interesting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
