This guy admits he hasn't served in the military, who the hell is he to say women in combat "profanes something sacred?" Played too much Call of Duty? If anything red pillers should be thankful that women are trying to take up one of man's traditional burdens in society. If this experiment fails it was still worth a shot.

If this experiment fails it was still worth a shot.

Of course it's going to fail. A lot of men and women are going to die so that the 'women can do anything that men can do' lie can be propagated.

Care to give any evidence to support that claim? When I hear soldiers/military leaders complaining I'll start paying attention.

I'm not convinced that you or the author of this article is qualified to make these statements which contradict the success the Israeli Defense Force has had with women in combat roles:

I think it's funny you bring up the IDF as an example of women in combat roles. Especially since no women are in combat roles.

From the IDF's own website - which is cited in the wiki article as a source:

Women also make up 3% of the IDF's combat soldiers and 15% of technical personnel.

Admittedly not a lot, but still.

Hi. U. S. Army company-grade Officer here. Women in combat units are an absolute disaster. I speak for the opinion of the majority of my peers. Many of us are discussing retiring at the earliest possible opportunity.

Would you mind elaborating on why women in combat units are an absolute disaster? I think we're all aware that men are physio and psychologically better suited for combat, but a real example of what happens when you put inherently inferior soliders, i.e., women, into front-line combat would be fascinating.

I'd love to. I'm working up a blog post on this, but for starters, physically they're nowhere even close to the average military male. The public seems to think it's a narrow gap, but it's like the difference between a 27 year old athlete and a scrawny middle schooler. Then there's the fact that women alter the dynamics of a unit, and that this push for integration is ideologically oriented. I have buddies recently returned from combat who have seen female only teams cower in ditches and cry during light firefights. It seems that almost every person they interview who's in support is either a POG (think mail clerk, cook, fueler etc) or too high ranking and invested in their career to have a backbone. The atmosphere here in the military is that if you're a field grade officer, you'll get your nuts crushed for dissenting. Expect a pretty thorough write up in the next few days.

Looking forward to it!

Jack Donovan is very tuned-in when it comes to gender roles and societal expectations. Check out The Way of Men, it's a great read.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
