All of my 5x5 lifts are up. Squat 300, Deadlift 270, BP 180, OHP 125. Bench has stalled 3 weeks in a row so im switching to a 4x10 routine. Been on stronglifts over a year so time to switch it up. Bf is at 20%, cutting out beer consumption except on my weekend, see how that goes.

Im off anti depressants, was a total faggot and tried to lull myself into being happy with a shit situation during my marriage. They are horrible, make you not give a shit about bettering yourself and just be ok with being a mediocre work bitch for your wife.

The divorce process is finally done. It took 10 months and cost me 14,000 cash, worth every penny. Minnesota is a very progressive state in that I was awarded 50/50 joint legal and physical custody. The best part is, since she made more I actually get paid child support. Putting the money into savings and when it reaches x amount heading to Thailand for a savage vacstion.

Now that the judge has signed off on the paperwork I can get approved for a mortgage. Im short of my 50k goal because I went overboard on restoring my Bronco, and I bought a bass boat, plus the divorce mediation process was more expensive than expected. Still have a decent down payment with a VA loan.

Dating has been fun. Currently seeing a 28 year old cutie who gives me ample opportunity to practice amused mastery as she trys to lock me down.

All in all, life is good and I am really grateful that I took the advice offered on this sub too turn my life around.

I actually get paid child support. Putting the money into savings and when it reaches x amount heading to Thailand for a savage vacation.

Isn't that for supporting the child? For being glad you got 50 50, I'm surprised you have no mention of the plan now that you have custody. I get you've been through hell and just not got your light at the end of the tunnel. By all means, enjoy your victory, but you should really focus on your life after the high wears off.

Because right now, you sound like you're going in two different directions at once.

Also, have you bothered to read anything from the sidebar? I've seen 0 self reflection from you, your posting history reads like a journal of 'this is what life gave me today'. How exactly do you expect not to run into the same problems with the next thot that gives you a whiff?

Im short of my 50k goal because I went overboard on restoring my Bronco, and I bought a bass boat, plus the divorce mediation process was more expensive than expected.

Guess it wasn't a goal then. If it were a goal, you wouldn't be wasting money on toys. Honestly, this reads like the angry screechings of a BP strawman, not a guy owning fuck all.

In other news, A fat fuck drunk captain became a fat fuck divorced drunk captain. Congrats on accomplishing so little OP.

Squat 300, Deadlift 270, BP 180, OHP 125.

You were 20% BF nine months ago and you've apparently gotten weaker. Those numbers do not add up.

Congrats on getting out of a toxic marriage to a cheating whore, but you've got some work to do.

[–]izual19[S] -1 points0 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

If you read my previous posts I covered fucking up on diet and consistant lifting.

[–]Rian_StoneMod / Red Beret6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

So let me get this straight.

you haven't lifted well

you haven't dieted properly

you didn't meet your financial goals so you could play with your truck.

you have custody, but want to use money for the kid to spend time in thailand, you've not given a single word as what you're going to do with custody.

Honestly, I don't think you've covered a damned thins. Are you sure you're not a troll? You sound more useless than what should be possible

[–]UEMcGillI am become McGill, Destroyer of Blue Pill2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah, your DL should be more than your squat. If you're stalling on 5x5's try a Wendler program instead. At 42ish I got to the 1000lb club in less than a year with diet and supplements.

[–]NoCoast821 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

He doesnt need wendler, he needs to hit the gym. I weigh at least 90lbs less and can hit his bench/ohp/dl numbers, and he has obvious lack of depth with his squats. I achieved those numbers with severly low T, just started TRT 2 days ago (covered by insurance not via a mens clinic)

531 is my bread and butter for upper body lifts though. But my bench is over 1.5x my bodyweight, and ohp was stuck right around 1xBW. Was making linear progress with squat and dead, obviously onces I get my T levels close to normal I imagine my progress to really increase

[–]officerkondo11 points12 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Bf is at 20%, cutting out beer consumption except on my weekend, see how that goes.

Does someone at 20% body fat need beer, ever? "welp, let's see how it goes" is not a plan.

(Your post to AskMRP has no question, so I am going to pretend that you asked one)

[–]NoCoast821 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Have you ever met someone who admits to 20% bf who isnt at the very least closer to 30%?

[–]officerkondo1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Hell and no. We all know how guys bullshit about BF%.

[–]suprathepeg5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I don’t really have a problem with any of this it all looks like progress. Except the using child support for a vacation, that’s bullshit. If you have extra money for the kids over what you need to spend day to day for them then put it in a separate account for the kid’s future. I’d consider that being accountable.

fuck man, are you like 17 years old. don't be surprised if you still can't get a mortgage. since the bust; they don't hand money to just any dumbass anymore.

[–]johneyapocalypse3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't forget about the savage vacation to Thailand.

[–]CaptJohnLukeDiscard0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

TBH this guy sounds like a worthless piece of shit who continually makes terrible decisions and then later decides that it's everyone else's fault.

[–]mrpjourneyenabling fuck2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Switch to dumbbells for bench for a couple of weeks.

[–]BobbyPeru2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I just don’t see much RP in this post.

Have you read any of the sidebar? I’m guessing no because I don’t see any traces of it in your little writing.

[–]izual19[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

You see no redpill value in following thru with a divorce, getting interesting hobbies and consistant lifting while owning my shit? And you are asking if I've done any reading?

I intended this post as a light at the end of the tunnel example for those guys who are in a tough spot in their marriage. That, by my measure of success, this shit worked for me. I was incredibly fucking pathetic to the point I was drugging myself to not feel so miserable. If it worked for me, it can work for anyone.

[–]BobbyPeru1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Im short of my 50k goal because I went overboard on restoring my Bronco

Is that the hobby I missed? Hobbies should not be causing you to miss financial goals.

But, reading through the comments, it sounds like your ex was a cheating whole, so congrats on following through with the divorce.

[–]johneyapocalypse1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

divorce has been finalized

Awesome.

All of my 5x5 lifts are up.

Fantastic.

Im off anti depressants

Amazing.

I can get approved for a mortgage.

Outstanding.

All in all, life is good

Wonderful.

Minnesota

I like the movie Fargo. That's near Minnesota. Minnesota's kind of near those Canadian folk, right? You like Molson? You know stoney?

[–]izual19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

"Kind of near those Canadian folk, eh?" I don't dislike Molson, just not my regular.

I went overboard on restoring my Bronco, and I bought a bass boat

Im short of my 50k goal

Slow down there Tanto. Why are you wasting money when you haven't even reached your measly $50k goal. $50k ain't shit. You need to have retirement savings, savings for kids college, emergency fund, 1-2 years salary in-case you lose your job. Then you can start talking about "fuck you" money. You're one car accident (totaled car + medical bills + damages) from sucking dick in an alley.

[–]izual19[S] -2 points-1 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Retirement is already taken care of. Got a great pension and I contribute the max % to my 401k. My kid can serve his country and pay for his own college. Medical insurance, life insurance are taken care of. Totally agree that I should have a bigger stockpile of cash. The bass boat will have value too me in that I have a cabin and look forward too taking my kiddo fishing.

I see your point about the Thailand trip reeking of butthurt. I thought it would be funny to pay for with child support. It actually signals a degree of still caring and spite. Thanks.

[–]NoCoast821 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

So fuck your kids education, they can join the armed forces if they want financial help because you want to go see the underage lady boys in Thailand?

Oh but your going to take them fishing in your bass boat, that totally makes up for not investing in thier future.

This is why guys are asking if you have even read the sidebar. MRP is about being a real man woman want to be with, not an ass who is looking to take advantage of anything around them including the prosperity of their own children.

[–]izual19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

And paying your entitled brats way thru college will totally pan out well. At least mine will have a sense of accomplishment and discipline. Because I disagree with you on how too raise a kid that totally means I haven't read the sidebar.

[–]InChargeManRed Beret0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Retirement is already taken care of.

Somehow I doubt this. But good luck!

[–]bob13bob1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Financial discipline, restoring hobby cars and boats before owning a a house...

[–]screechhaterRed Beret0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

Holy fuck.

Good gains.

Your lifting stats are skewed. DL should always be bigger than the squat. Avoid 1 rep maxes.

Deload and check form. Thats a fuck ton on the squat and you don't want to rip your hamstring or do in your back.

March on over to OYS and get some work done

[–]izual19[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah, I had lower back surgery 2 years ago too correct a herniated disc from a 4 wheeler accident when I was 16. They took a dremmel and shaved 2 window openings between L4 and L5 to reduce the pressure on my spinal cord. Literally started deadlifting with 10 lbs per side and worked my way up slowly.

I can squat parallel comfortably, but forget ass to grass.

[–]screechhaterRed Beret0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Drunk driver, 19. Fractured femur.

“Sorry son, you may never walk normal....”.

“Suck it, bitch....”. Yep. I walk with the slightest limp. It took years on ass to grass No fucking way can I ass to grass 300, but 225 for 6 sets @ 6-8 is good for me

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
