I own an engineering and construction business with about 40 employees. In response to changes in my local market, I eliminated a small division, consisting of four guys, of my company and repurposed them elsewhere. I offered these four guys four new positions I had created. In a nut shell, the offer consisted of restructuring their compensation package, but they are not taking a total compensation cut, but in fact in increase in some areas (two of the four got switched from a salary position to an hourly, but they got a better health insurance package. Although two of these guys will bring home a little less money in their check, but now have a company vehicle.

Anyway, my point is about their greatest concern, which they eventually expressed about 30 minutes into the conversation. They were scared to death to go home to their wives and have to "explain" this new offer to them. They told me, "what am I going to tell my wife??" Now both these men are just over 60 and close to retirement, but it is so sad to see these men express their world views and concerns from a blue pill lens. (One is my uncle and the other is one of my dad's childhood friends)

My question is, should I try and intro these guys into the red pill and where should I start?

No, it's almost always a bad idea to try and redpill anyone who isn't ready.A majority of us myself included, found the redpill because we were going through some shit. When student is ready the teacher will appear.

What’s the First Rule of Fight Club?

He didn't think it applied to him!

No. They wouldn't be able to handle it.

Religion, politics sex and RP. Off limits. Way more downside than up.

Seriously. Women actively shape men to be their asset, the same way employers train their employees. Apparently OP must need more conflict in his life...

[–]BigAjax7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

You don't talk about Fight Club, period. Plus, you're going to try to red pill some seriously BP 60yo dudes who aren't looking for it? Are you really willing to risk having a couple suicides on your hands?

You change what a plowhorse is pulling, the stablehands are going to complain.

Have my upvote. This is the first Mr Ed. reference I have seen around these parts.

Every man here who takes RP seriously and puts in the work found this place in their own... Because they were ready, they had hit a bottom, they knew something was broken and for the first time they could clearly see it was they who were broken. Otherwise, they're not ready for it.

[–]signsoflife6204 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think you should. It's very unlikely that they will come to understand what you are trying to say and may even see it as condescending since you are their boss.

[–]BostonBrakeJob2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Why the need to change their entire mindset?

"Look Unc, these were my options and this is what I can offer. Do you like it? Will you lose the house if you take it? If you're ok with this offer, then take it. If not, then I'm sorry I couldn't do more. Do what's best for you and auntie, then show her why it's best. Either she'll come around or she won't."

Lead by example, when the opportunity presents itself. If it opens the wider conversation of "How are you so objective?" then sure...send him a link to this sub. Otherwise, be a good human. Offer your advice. Then leave the rest up to him/them.

[–]mattizie3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I've tried this before and every single time it's ended in failure, and me as the bad guy.

It's a HUGE shock to the system. And especially after 60 years, most would rather live the lie and will lash out violently against anyone that the can turn into an enemy.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

He'll no, not unless you want trouble down the road. Send them each a copy of some of the sidebar books anonymously... but dont talk about fight club, especially as a boss.

[–]RedPillCoach2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Here's a better idea. Stick your penis in a hornets nest.

If they want to read

--The Rational Male,

--No More Mr Nice Guy,

--Married Man Sex Life Primer, and

--When I Say No, I Feel Guilty, M. then you could have a discussion with them about it.

Of course the fun discussion really begins with:

Saving a low sex marriage: A Man's Guide to dread, seduction, and the long game

I'm filling in a few blanks here but from the sounds of it, this is my take on things -

- you run what appears to be a successful company

- in order to maintain the continued success of the company, you have made necessary changes to the company

- these changes have effected the conditions / terms for a number of employees

- however, you have restructured the company in a way that offers them similar / slightly better / not much worse conditions than they had previously

If these men were single or if these men weren't blue pill pussies, they would have listened to your explanation of what you were doing, why you were doing it and would - more likely than not - have accepted this as being a necessary restructuring of the business and would have accepted the new terms and conditions.

Instead, the only concern they have is "what will my wife think?"

Fuck them. That's their problem. Is it your fault that they are afraid of their wives? No. Is it your responsibilty to hold their hands on this? No. Is it your responsibility to lead them to MRP to fix their blue pill minds? No.

Get on with running your business and let them sort their own shit out. This is not your problem to fix and you shouldn't make it yours.

Thank you guys for all the advice. The consensus is pretty clear.

[–]RPeed0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

No offence bro but it sounds more like WISNIFG than anything else. Once you’ve told someone what you’re offering in a clear and unambiguous way, the rest should just be clarifying where necessary.

I respect anyone who runs the show but I’m curious if it was a charity move to begin with?

[–]TaipanshimshonRed Beret0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You can’t redpill a man who doesn’t ask

[–]SeamusAwl0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I am going to break with everyone. You don’t flat out point them to red pill. But there is no harm in telling them: “You be honest, it would be worse if they find out you lied or tried to cover it up”. Or to drop other RP truths here or there. Those are the little breadcrumbs that can lead them to a much more satisfying life.

[–]jcrptaRed Beret0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

No, no and for the third time no.

Any mention of RP - at least using those words - has an absolutely huge risk that the person you talk to might look into it further.

Yes, they might see the better bits. The bits that say "make yourself a better man and to hell with what the rest of the world thinks".

But they might also see how the gynocentric world paints it - and let's face it, that ain't good.

If you're going to introduce those ideas at all, do so subtly and by example rather than by overtly saying anything.

[–]alpha-zach0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Don’t talk about fight club, stupid.

[–]friendandadvisor0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You are 'restructuring' a deal that is 'better for them', yet, they are afraid to tell their wives about their better deal?

First of all, stop blowing smoke up people's asses.

Then, forget about 'red pilling' them. They don't want to hear RP wisdom from anybody, let alone the person that AMOGed them, at this point.

[–]eddielovett0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Don’t talk about Fight Club. What they tell their wives is a personal issue and none of your concern. My response would be a genuine “who gives a fuck” with a shrug.

[–]MrChad_ThundercockBig Red Machine0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Never talk about fight club.

If they need it bad enough, they will find it on their own.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
