So lately I've been busy as fuck focusing on my mission. I have consistently been hitting the gym, building my career and just generally going out more and seeing the world instead of being surrounded by four walls at home. This has made me get over my anxiety issues, overcome watching porn, and generally made me feel of more value to myself. I feel like I am going places. It also made me more confident with swallowing the pill which I have had a hard time doing previously. Is the trick to simply get your life together first and everything else will follow?

I am literally so blessed in so many ways. it took me some time to realise that.

Is the trick to simply get your life together first and everything else will follow?

Yes. This is exactly what the spergs who come on asktrp, and write a essay about their issues need to understand.

The below is what I live by

  1. Set goals, and crush them
  2. Lift (your lifting right?)
  3. Increase SMV
  4. Spin plates
  5. Outcome independence (big one)
  6. Do whatever the fuck you were gonna do anyway

If your doing this already your fine.

And what I have realised it's not always about the results. Like you said, setting good ass goals and crushing them gives you self esteem as well as going out and seeing the world. Most people with beta traits and mental problems just aren't setting good enough goals. I feel like most people's lives are empty and that's why they fall into depression or other issues.

Yes, been lifting for two years. Doing some cycles now because bodybuilding is a big time hobby of mine.

[–]nogatcord18 points19 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Great to hear that bro, your living proof that TRP can change lives for the better.

[–]Bear-With-Bit15 points16 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup. Set routines and habits, enjoy the fuck out of them, but also follow them when you don't want to. Better than setting goals and being thristy for results.

I started lifting to get laid. Now it's a real hobby. Plus I get laid.

[–]riggedved9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

It is never about the results. It is always about the journey. Realising that means true outcome independence.

As is, the results are not in your hands. Only how well you live and do things is. A true outcome independent person only focuses on his response, his effort. He doesnt give a fuck what the result it. He just does his best, always, regardless of the situation.

[–]clickherebaby2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Precisely what I needed at this moment. I was honestly feeling like shit because I want hitting my goals

[–]riggedved1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I feel you my man. This is how i motivate myself day after day.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You said your anxiety is gone and you're doing cycles as in steroids? Well that's what steroids are likely to do, decrease depression and anxiety. Be aware it will all be gone once you're off the cycle.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

lol that's actually a brilliant, simple summarisation of like the first 2 steps of TRP, that can help 90% of the folk on this forum. It's really that simple. The hard part is to have the cojones to bet on yourself, everyday. I'd also add focus on financial independence, it takes a lot of stress out of life, and opens up a lot more options.

[–]sexfarming0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'd like to retire very early so I can have financial independence. Except, idk if I'll ever figure out this woman thing.

[–]jackandjill220 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Interesting.

[–]TehJimmyy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

4 , 5 , 6 are my weakness , any tips ? still a KHV

[–]sexfarming0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Spin plates

Outcome independence (big one)

These are the difficult ones for me. I'm having trouble not converting over to the black pill with all the times I'm getting rejected.

[–]alphabachelor0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is awesome. To add:

Cultivate knowledge and professional experience

Live below your means and make your savings work for you (stock market, real estate)

Eat well and take care of your body (beyond lifting)

Is the trick to simply get your life together first and everything else will follow?

Yes. The world revolves around synchronicity.

If you start working for something bits and pieces will start falling into place.

If you start doing something and you hit a brick wall on every turn, you're doing something wrong - the approach must change. This is something most people do not realise and keep doing the same dumb shit and getting the same results.

How do you figure out what to do differently? I can't for the fucking life of me get a woman I find attractive.

[–]HillarysCell-mate1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Increase your smv. Lift, get a good haircut, learn how to dress, get your eyebrows groomed (seriously, don’t skip this), take care of your skin, make more money, and increase your social status. This won’t get you laid by itself but it increases your confidence and gets your foot in the door. After that it’s about how good your game is and how well you can escalate. Learning that takes time but it’s a lot easier when women are already attracted to you.

[–]sexfarming0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

How you doing in there man? Were you the guy who whacked Jeffrey Epstein? Are you planning on getting suicided soon so your spreading all this wisdom to me today?

On a serious note, how does one raise their social status?

[–]Project_Zero_Betas0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

On a serious note, how does one raise their social status?

Lose weight, lift, become proficient at something most people can't even comprehend.

[–]HillarysCell-mate0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Be the guy that everyone wants to hang out with. Learn how to have a good time (that’s where outcome independence comes in) and make things happen when you’re out with friends. If you don’t have many social circles now make some. Learn how to talk to people and joke around with the guys. Start getting into hobbies and meet up with other people that are interested in them. The best way to have status in those groups is to be the one organizing the meet up or event but no one wants to hang out with a weirdo. There’s a halo effect when you’re good looking and people won’t want to hang out with someone that looks like a scrub.

You’ll meet a lot of groups that don’t want to add anyone into their friend groups. Fuck those people and don’t waste your time, energy, or resources on them. There’s plenty of really cool people open to making new friends and in turn will help you expand your circles

Thanks for posting, this is encouraging.

[–]Yoasted8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I liked this post. Not really an asktrp but a victory. It's motivating.

[–]Jabbermouth10 points11 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

First off, good job on getting your shit together. Most people haven’t and never will.

No hate, but what is the point of this post? I’m glad you’ve come to this realization but do you really need us to tell you what you already know?

Life is easier when you have your shit together. Yes. That’s the trick.

[–]Beyondthet[S] 50 points51 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Sometimes when you have something positive on your mind you feel like sharing it with like minded people who can relate.

[–]Jabbermouth8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Fair enough.

[–]MeansToABenz2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Boom! W for u/beyondthet

[–]priapula1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Your probably the happiest you’ll ever be. Keep working hard

[–]Linhothy1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

this may seem stupid and unrelated, but i had a question about attraction. if you started talking to a woman with high smv but eventually lowered yourself and gave her power, is there a way to go back from that or is it over?

[–]lalola01011 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I totally can relate to this, I think u should make a post about it

[–]Linhothy1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

through more experimentation and reading from TRP. i can conclude that it is possible to come back from a broken frame. Dreading her and doing your own things for a while and disregarding her for a bit will give her a sense of “loss” which will ultimately lead to her coming back and chasing you

[–]Gaidsbola0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Pretty much. It’s funny how it all falls into place naturally when you get your shit together.

[–]DereckVinyard0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

No porn watching whatsoever now?

[–]Beyondthet[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

In my opinion, I don't think watching porn in and of itself is bad, as long as you feel as though you are the aggressor. However, porn tends to passify you and the more you over indulge, the more passive (beta) you become and this affects the way you see women and how you approach women. Instead of watching porn if you have to masturbate, use your own imagination where you are in control of the narrative. This is what I have been doing as of late.

[–]Aestheticcunt19960 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Views on masturbation in general (without porn)?

[–]Yavuzest0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

same fam

[–]BeanNCheeze0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

How have you achieved your mission? How are you deciding what gives you value. Pm me I'm trying to better myself by lifting, setting goals but nothing's working. Lost that life energy I once had.

[–]Beyondthet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

PM me and we can talk.

[–]Jibouti-3 points-2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

How very Jordan Peterson-esque.

[–]TFWnoLTR3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Why is everything about self improvement now associated with JP? This isn't a new idea at all. JP didn't invent it, he just pushes it because that's what therapists do: convince their clients to focus on self improvement over everything else.

It works. It's what TRP has been about since before JP ever got more than a few hundred views on youtube. Improve yourself and things will come together for you. Your mind will be more capable of dealing with difficult problems because you no longer sweat the minor ones. Etc.

[–]sexfarming1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Hasn't worked for me as far as women go.

[–]Jibouti0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed.

[–]TankVet-2 points-1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Ya know, back in the day, The Red Pill wasn’t a place for misogynistic incels to spout and circlejerk their toxic nonsense.

It was the idea that if you took responsibility for your actions, got your shit together, took care of yourself and your business, you’d be a better man. Hell, it was a philosophy on how to be a man.

It happened to be a very effective way to attract women because people are attracted to a man who has his act together and behaves like an adult. I think it devolved from there when it started being more about “alpha game” than actually being a man.

It’s a shame it was allowed to deteriorate as it did into something toxic and disgusting. I imagine it’s a little bit like how Karl Marx would’ve felt had he witnessed the Great Leap Forward. I think a lot of people would benefit from the philosophies that take responsibility for their actions.

[–]Beyondthet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Very interesting. People often complicate things more than they are.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
