I really feel like the world I once knew was a house of cards and in the last few years it's rapidly collapsing before my own eyes. It felt good at the beginning as I was finally uncovering the deep truth about things. However, lately it's starting to develop into nihilism and hopelessness.

What I mean by that is:

-It seems like it's almost impossible to plan to get married and have a family today.

-It seems like you can't rely on democracy to fix the situation in this world that has turned upside down

-It seems like working in a company isn't so good and the money doesn't matter because they serve their only master which is profit (while masking it in with a nice logo, corporate culture, and a company mission statement)

-It seems like hypergamy is real, but then you find an example that proves it wrong, and then again you find an example that proves it's real, and the again an example that proves it wrong, until infinity.

-It seems like spinning plates is amazing, but then you realize it's an endless loop of just having sex with women while accomplishing nothing substantial in the meantime except adding a +1 to your n count

The point is that I feel lost on what to do, and where to go in life. I just want to see hope that starting an endeavor of any kind in this world will eventually be worthwhile. I don't want to do something just to earn money, which I will then spend on useless materialistic shit like cars, clothes and other things. I don't want to do stuff that feels good in the moment, but then again you are left feeling lost and without direction. I don't want to waste my time with spinning plates, or with LTR's that offer no long term value in my life. I seek for a direction in my life but I don't know where to look for it.

There's all kinds of interesting stuff going on in the world. You only develop nihilism and hopelessness if you let it happen. Let's take your points in order:

-You can have a family (and even get married if you want to) but getting married is a raw deal for men in Western society today.

-Can't rely on democracy to fix the world. Well that's probably true but why is that your goal? Fixing the world is a big task. Focus on stuff you have control over.

-Working for companies sucks. You can start your own business doing anything you know how to do. It doesn't have to be fancy. Paint houses, fix cars, buy and sell stuff, buy a house fix it up and rent it out.

-Hypergamy is real, but so what? Make it work for you. Find a girl who thinks you're the best she could ever get.

-Spinning plates gets boring. If you like one of the girls better than the others keep her around more. You don't have to declare her to be your LTR, just keep it going as long as you're enjoying it.

So, you're not sure what to do. You have to figure out what you like and what makes you happy and quit worrying about the fate of the world. Since you're not that interested in money (or that's the impression I get) why don't you try to get a job that provides some personal satisfaction? A buddy of mine left investment banking and worked for some NGO that helps street kids in Brazil. Lots of hot chicks in Brazil. You can't help every street kid, some of them are in gangs or whatever, but there's plenty who you can help. Maybe charity work isn't your thing. You could be a forest ranger or volunteer fire fighter or something else where the work is more interesting to you but the money isn't all that great. You're a little fucked in the head right now because you bought into a fantasy that turned out not to be real (work hard, get married to the right girl, get promoted at work, have a family, etc.) The blue pill is kind of an idealized American Dream fantasy. So now your life is empty and it's your job to fill it up with stuff that actually does make you happy. Can you learn some new sports or some new languages? Can you travel to a different part of the world? Maybe you're interested in philosophy or religion? Your fantasy world came tumbling down but now you have to build up your life the way you want it, with things that are meaningful to you.

You are a fucking champ, great reply

[–]EnemyAsmodeus14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Human behavior has underpinning truths to it.

An example, Supply and Demand, you may call it basics of economics, but it's also just human desire in a collective setting matched up with human service/results. That principle of supply-demand apply to a lot of other situations.

In other words, it is possible to mask a true fundamental concept, with some extra fluff. As an example, hypergamy is real, but there are exceptions of women who aren't like that, and men are also slightly hypergamous too, just not to the same degree.

Sometimes you, are fighting biological instincts that feel natural to both men and women. Those biological instincts sometimes must be fought despite not being able to change them for a more civilized society.

  • So women are hypergamous, we must get women to evolve from that for their own interest. By rewarding non-hypergamous behavior, and shaming hypergamous behavior.
  • Starting a family is hard right now. We have seen men suffer due to divorces. But we can change that. Men today are going through law school, some of them will be more informed about the abuses of women exploiting the court system for money. They will change these laws and legal guidelines. Tough it out, if you find someone trustworthy take a risk, if you value your money to the maximum, then maybe no girl is worth it. But then what are you frustrated about, kids are also a money drain, why do you need a "family" if you value money over all?

0io- said this the best:

Spinning plates gets boring. If you like one of the girls better than the others keep her around more. You don't have to declare her to be your LTR, just keep it going as long as you're enjoying it.

This is very sensible.

"Oh no, I developed feelings for a girl? And she dumped me, damnit why did I upgrade her from plate?"

Bro, relax, chill... These are just words. One day a plate might dump you, you don't think that's gonna hurt?

Stop being afraid of getting your feelings hurt like a pussy. "haha! I can't be hurt if I call her a plate!" is that how this works?

[–]daredevil1302[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Thanks for the big reply. I feel like you hit the spot with "Fixing the world is a big task. Focus on stuff you have control over".

That seems like the best strategy for me right now. Completely remove myself from unnecessary social media, people, and other things which serve me no purpose. Use my job as a short term strategy to acquire money, hit the gym 5 days a week, read and plan my long term strategy.

[–]Dark_Omikron1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

On top of that find a hobby or goal you find truly fulfilling (and allow yourself to feel that way) and invest your time in that, let it develop to a passion. Judt be patient and good to yourself. Allow yourself to asses worth to the things in life you deem to find full of worth and meaning.

[–]throaway694041 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Western society may be fucked but things are relatively better in Eastern Societies. It's easier to get married and marriages last long, but there is western influence which is resulting in the slow decay of important eastern cultures/religions/traditions.

[–]Gr33d3ater0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You're a little fucked in the head right now because you bought into a fantasy that turned out not to be real

proceeds to list fantasy jobs that aren’t viable or in most cases real in the sense of what fantasies you obviously have about them

You could be a forest ranger or volunteer fire fighter or something else where the work is more interesting to you but the money isn’t all that great.

First of all, forest ranger? Lol. Second of all, volunteer firefighters dont get paid. It’s not “money isn’t all that great” it’s no money.

Instead of helping him you fed into your own fantasy about what jobs are interesting, and the fantasy that jobs should be passionate and fulfilling when the reality is unless you’re the top .01% that isn’t the case. So get there, and that’s the only answer.

Here’s the reality everyone, unless you’re number one in what you do, you aren’t getting shit. Go to college graduate alpha, go to grad school graduate top with honors, then get a government job or join OCS to be a military officer, rise the ranks, be an expert politician and socialite, then and only then do you get your pick of all the cool civilian jobs and pensions.

It’s not easy.

[–]DJSaucyP41 points42 points  (13 children) | Copy Link

I resonate with this brother.

[–]flipdoggers12 points13 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

-It seems like hypergamy is real, but then you find an example that proves it wrong, and then again you find an example that proves it's real, and the again an example that proves it wrong, until infinity.

This point was especially powerful. I also often go back and forth between "gotta be redpill and alpha for people to maximally respect and like you" versus "just be yourself, kind, and authentic, and people will like you, and you'll have deeper relationships".

[–]PirataCielo7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

it's been said before around here, but it's not exactly sidebar: successful relationships require some beta habits. Sometimes you gotta be an independent, cold-hearted pimp; other times you need to be a cooperative and comforting presence. as men we have two choices: cultivate and dominate. Our instinct is that of the hunter, but our intellect is that of the farmer. both mindsets serve a purpose in the right moment.

I think it's the role of the man to create purpose and happiness in the world. You are both the heart of a greater network of people and the head of your smaller network of people who look to you for guidance.

The answer might be twofold: find a mentor and be a mentor.

[–]ganz_allein2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Great answer Pirata.

[–]IndiansSmellLikePoo9 points10 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

I honestly think a lot of us will see the collaspe of the western world in our lifetimes. So much shit has fucked us over: mass immigration, single motherhood (not them directly), the welfare state and the welfare state to just name a few.

[–]Bascome11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't forget the welfare state.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

you forgot to mention the welfare state bruh

[–]PirataCielo2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Asian cultures are doing just fine in the western world. loads of traditional women are coming over here to marry white guys. loads of traditional men are coming too, marrying white women.

What seems likely is the culture you grew up in will be swept away and replaced with people from developing nations that have poisoned their land with industrialization. It'll be more of a struggle to stay relevant and powerful as tradition dictates. If you want to drown in the sea of degeneracy you can do that too

[–]daredevil1302[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's the thing. Looking at what's hapenning today makes me angry, and at the same time makes me want to take the leading banner and try to fix everything in this world. This causes a lot of stress and is probably a huge thought overload for me right now.

I sense a big cultural shift in western democracies in the coming years achieved not through peaceful methods, but rather through violent methods.

[–]Aizenchair-sama-1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

The biggest one by far will be climate change, everything else pales in comparison

[–]wkndatbernardus2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Haha, found Beto

[–]RobotORourke1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Beto

Did you mean Robert Francis O'Rourke?

[–]cdh10032 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm guessing that you're still fairly young - 20s, maybe? Whilst I believe that anthropogenic climate change is real, the attention given to it comes in waves, dictated by the media. (You don't think Greta whatshername is acting alone, do you?). There was a huge wave ca 2005-8, then it quietened for a decade, now it's back on the agenda. It's undoubtedly a huge issue, but the world is not going to end in a decade, or two, or ten. We will find ways to adapt.

[–]skuttt0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

We couldn’t predict where hurricane Dorian was going to be in two days. We cannot predict climate change. Definitely happening but if you believe it’s happening for sure in the very near future then you’re still blue pilled. Don’t believe intrinsically what you read and what everyone else thinks. Always take the grain of salt.

[–]sjswander9415 points16 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

I relate. Nihilism ain’t the answer though. For me giving is meaningful. In whatever way I can I like to give value.for example I Helped a fat kid I work with lose 50 lbs.Seeing him become confident and determined put a big fat smile on my face. Psychedelics can give you perspective on what really matters. a nice lsd or shroom trip could help you out if that’s something your open to.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Take a half dosage if you’ve got some skeletons in the closet, having perfect vision of all your short comings and total awareness of what you should have been doing for peace and harmony can be overwhelming if you have a lot of bad habits or at least lack good habits especially with regards to relationships... friends and family

[–]VaN__Darkholme 1 points [recovered]  (1 child) | Copy Link

I wanna see them interdimensional child molesting elves.

[–]sjswander940 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Dmt can do that. I caution you it’s not fun but it is mind blowing.

[–]Kink30 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I too helped the fat kid at work lose about 35-40 pounds. It was awesome to see him progress but once I quit that job he gained it all back in 6 weeks. That took the smile right away for me.

[–]sjswander941 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Well now if he decides he wants to get back on track, he already has the tools because you gave them to him.

[–]liquorbaron7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

There's no seen/known, correct, true answer. It's your life to make of it what you want. Want to jerk off all day to porn? Do it or don't. Want to bed 2000 women? Do it or don't. Want to devote yourself to abstinence and faith in a God. Do it or don't. Want to lift all day? Do it or don't. Doesn't matter as there is no objective correct answer. The closest you'll get to what a legit mission is in life is that you're probably supposed to procreate in accordance with nature and species survival. That only matters if you care to anyhow as there are 8 billion people here already. The species will probably survive a catastrophic event at this point.

You gotta figure out what makes you happy. You're free to do whatever for the most part. Also women compliment your life not complete it. They're a side quest if you choose.

[–]Endorsed ContributorFereallyRed93 points94 points  (34 children) | Copy Link

You're looking for some sense of value from life.

It doesn't exist. Redpill, bluepill, black, purple, green, reality is that we're all just random meatsacks bumping into random meatsacks on a tiny planet spinning around a mediocre sun in a tiny galaxy in the rural county of a massive black hole that will eventually consume everything without a noise.

Life is what you make it. That's it.

[–]mananlak58 points59 points  (29 children) | Copy Link

What utterly nihilistic nonsense. This is hardly an attitude any man should have because it's a lazy way to escape doing anything real in life. Oh on a macro scale we don't mean anything? Just live in hedonism bro.

This is the problem with most of the people on this sub who think the TRP sphere is just about PUA and game bullshit, the endgame becomes getting laid, and after that? The man is fitter, more charismatic, more socially skilled, but ultimately lacks purpose.

OP: You need a mentality shift. You need a grander goal that extends beyond your interpersonal relationships and acquiring sex. Becoming learned, becoming top of the line at some kind of skill, or more nobly, making a real difference in the life of another, by raising children or engaging in some other altruistic endeavor. Women cannot give direction to a man's life, only something larger than the individual.

[–]alpha_in_progress3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I hear this a lot. Have you found that goal for yourself? If so what exactly is it?

[–]mananlak0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

My plan is to go to a top law school, pay off my loans for financial freedom, and then go into public service as a Asst. US Attorney where I will try to be the best trial lawyer in the profession

Ultimately what motivates me is the competitive drive to be the best trial attorney I can, because trials are the closest thing you can get to playing a sport for a living. There is always a winner and a loser, you are constantly in a fight for superiority.

[–]Skibbidybeebop6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I think you're missing the point here:

Life is what you make it. That's it.

[–]Bing_Bang_Bam3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Colonization of space?

[–]mananlak2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

That is indeed a noble larger goal to aspire to. The pathway would probably be to be a top engineer and work with a private firm i.e. SpaceX

[–]Bing_Bang_Bam-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Or maybe test pilot?

[–]demonite101 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is something that I'm getting my life aligned for. Space could become the next gold rush.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Everything you just stated although totally agreeable doesn’t negate what the guy is saying.

We do live on a tiny rock orbiting a boring star in a boring part of an insanely large expanse of space littered with suns and rocks spinning around them.

We do ultimately have no purpose or meaning, and no matter what you do, no matter how successful you are, over n time, this planet will cease to exist. We may just solve the issue of getting off earth, and colonising other planets... and other universes, but eventually that too is all destined for deletion.

This idea that we’re important or special is just a product of our 98% ape genes inclining toward the idea that self preservation is important.

It’s not important at all, and over an infinite number of universes on the time axis of the dimension set that we live in.... we can know that everything that can happen has happened and will happen.

We live thinking we have free will, but the truth is we have as much variability as a video tape changing for each played loop. None.

If you don’t believe that, try the free will test by Sam Harris.

[–]mananlak-2 points-1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Maybe you’re right. But that’s not a healthy way to think. You don’t become suddenly enlightened because you can zoom out on life with high school level philosophy.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

So it’s healthier to live a lie

[–]Endorsed ContributorFereallyRed8 points9 points  (15 children) | Copy Link

How many life points does a grander goal get you these days?

Your life only has meaning if you sacrifice for others?

GTFO with this bluepill horseshit.

[–]mananlak17 points18 points  (14 children) | Copy Link

What meaning is there in life if you live in solipsistic hedonism? Is there shame in focusing on becoming the best at what you do, or creating another life and nurturing it, or doing good for others? Goals, and our struggles to accomplish them, are what give existence meaning. Nihilism is giving up and decoupling yourself from any sense of personal responsibility and consequence.

[–]Endorsed ContributorFereallyRed16 points17 points  (13 children) | Copy Link

That's the point... there's no inherent "meaning" in life.

You and only you get to decide what's important to you.

If I want to live in solipstic hedonism and you need to tell yourself you're better than that because you save beached whales, who's the judge? What audience are you playing to?

Where do you think these ideals of " have babies", "Care for others" and other societally entrenched imperatives come from? Because they sure as hell are not looking out for the individual self.

You've been brainwashed so well you think societal rules are virtues.

Good Luck.

[–]its4thecatlol9 points10 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

JFC I'm so sick of your constant, retarded moralizing (anti moralizing is still moralizing). Just because altruism has no meaning to you does not mean it has no value biologically, innately, and in and of itself. Simpler animals will readily throw themselves into harm's way for the benefit of the pack. Do you think Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are betas for giving away most of their money?

It's an unfortunate fact of life that being too giving will leave you branded as weak. And the bar is constantly moving down on what constitutes giving too much. But when you finally reach your dreams, the only the thing that remains is to bring others to your level.

It sucks for you that you're a nihilist, garbage human being incapable of vicariously experiencing joy. Dont extrapolate your bullshit onto the rest of us.

[–]Drive_Thru_Sushi8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

He’s a nihilist, he enjoys whatever he wants especially the freedom that things and actions have no meaning in the grand sense so why not shoot your shots. There is no one grand philosophy, there just is Philosophies that have worked for others and some that don’t. Just because I love and endorse PPL doesn’t mean I’m gonna go off moralizing and discriminating those that live by 5/3/1 or 5x5. They are just means to an end. That’s the beauty of the red pill. Edit: spelling

[–]Bascome4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet did not "give away" most of their money.

They transferred it from personal wealth to charitable wealth that they control.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Susan Thompson Buffett, Howard G. Buffett Foundation, etc.

Who do you think controls the assets of the "Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation"?

I know this isn't really on-topic but it bothers me so many buy into that bullshit that they are just giving it all to charity. They are giving most to their own charity.

That's a lot like moving money from the pocket that gets taxed to the one that doesn't.

[–]SeasonedRP2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for pointing this out. I was getting ready to post when I saw your comment. Charitable foundations are mostly a tax dodge by which the very wealthy and their families keep control of assets. There isn't some noble altruistic purpose behind them. Wealthy preachers do something similarly misleading. They claim that their extreme wealth is consistent with Christianity because they give most of their money to charity. Yes, to charities that they control.

[–]2INNASKILLZ2K184 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Altruism is a fucking death sentence. Would be great if it wasn't, but it is.

Always hearing people saying 'everyone is an asshole. I do so much and get so little. I've been cheated/lied to/taken advantage of'.

We're animals. Animals are designed to fend for themselves and try to get their wants/needs/desires met.

You have to be selfish. Look after you first. I'm closer to an egoist. I believe everything someone does is ultimately to serve themselves, anyway.

Why be altruistic? Does it make you feel better? Does it give YOUR life more meaning? Does it make you feel accomplished? That's all for you.

We're tribe animals, with inbuilt emotions, urges, desires etc all designed to help us serve ourselves, our tribe and our survival.

This 'being the giving, kind, rescuing, white knighting kind will get you ultimate rewards' is, unfortunately, wrong. It NEVER gets you shit. It's a illusion cast by those who are going after their own, and want your efforts out of their way.

I work in the helping industry, too. I help addicts and alcoholics change their life. I know, ultimately, I do it for me. It gives me purpose, it gives me money, it increases my value, knowledge, wisdom. It gives me some status. I can work towards higher positions, which keeps me motivated and increasing in value.

Life is about your own survival. Your needs. Nobody is going to reward you for helping others. You only get used, taken advantage of and left in the dead. People's primal instincts will use you. That's not nihilism or defeatism, it's a long time living on this planet

Never EVER look after others until you have looked after you.

[–]Fulp_Piction1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol why do you need an EC to validate your worldview?

[–]-Frank1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

So being altruistic gives life meaning? Did you even read his comment? If that's your thing go for it but there isn't an objective meaning to it.

[–]Endorsed ContributorFereallyRed-1 points0 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Amoral not immoral.

Sacrificing yourself for the pack has negative value to you.

Gates and Buffet give away most of their money?

Simply delusional.

[–]Bascome1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

What don't you think that Bill and Melinda Gates giving money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is really giving the money away?

/s

[–]SeasonedRP4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Because they keep control of the money. They have to give away some portion each year, but the options for how to spend the money are broad, and the amount required to be given away isn't significant in the context of the assets these foundations hold. I think the Gates Foundation recently built ritzy new office space so those involved can count their money in suitably extravagant surroundings.

[–]TRPCops[M] -4 points-3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Respect the tag and learn what moralizing means.

[–]Anitaliandude0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You guys are missing the bottom line here, which is not philosophical:

The biological imperative of reproduction.

The concept also entails *successfully* raising offspring to become accomplished individuals, capable of *quality* mating and of reproducing themselves according to the same, or better, conditions in which they were raised. This rules out the "I'm just gonna make her a baby momma and bail" argument, since single motherhood is a scientifically proven disaster for raising a child.

Life's meaning is ultimately to create the best possible circumstances for you and a *romantic* partner to create offrspring and nurture them to the best of your possibilities to ensure continuation of your lineage.

Technically speaking, meaning, love and all that jazz are a means, tools if you will, to ensure you and your partner stay inspired in the process and keep the family cohese.

Cheers

[–]mananlak0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s the whole point of the OP. Solipsistic hedonism might feel good in the short term, but it isn’t a larger goal to aspire to. Life is what you make of it...but hedonism and focusing on pussy is making absolutely nothing of it. What good is individual power if you cannot do something to better the world with it? The audience is yourself, and perhaps God if you believe in that sort of thing.

[–]RedHoodhandles0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It might be true that nobody should have that attitude because you could be lacking the incentive to do anything 'real'. Whatever that means for you. That doesn't make his statement any less true.

Choosing a hedonistic lifestyle as a logical consequence is also.. far fetched..

[–]UnKnownSurviving0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree with this comment. OPs need to have a purpose.

"A man who is without a purpose is not worth living", Ivan Throne.

Ivan Throne is the guy that talk about reality. And it is fucking dark as it is. There's life, And there's death. There is value in living. As long as there is a purpose.

-It seems like hypergamy is real, but then you find an example that proves it wrong, and then again you find an example that proves it's real, and the again an example that proves it wrong, until infinity.

I can help you with this one since i had the same mind fuckery about this. The thing is hipergamy is REAL 100%, those cases when you see that they are not real are cases which are either toxic LTR, or the two have grown to their comfort its hard for them get out, the pressure from their family to stay together or maybe the dude is doing a good job maintaining frame and has game which you can't really see from an outside perspective. So just know that just because a women is with a bf for a long time doesnt mean she isn't eyeing other alphas and looking for a BBD. The gift the red pill gives you is that the life you live is the life you create, now that you know true nature of people and society use that to your best advantage and live the life you want.

The marriage laws here in my country(Serbia) arent so fucked up like in U. S. so here you can start a family if thats what you want but the female nature still remains. If you want to have kids there is nothing wrong with that. Just try to have kids without a marriage (LTR) and choose the mother of your kids carefully (red flags, green flags). Also know that even if you find a perfect women to have kids she will NEVER be 100 % yours. No girl will ever be truly yours. They belong to the world. But the world belongs to men.

[–]daredevil1302[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah..it seems i am missing a big heartbreak that will defintely confirm to me that hypergamy is 100% real. All my life i've been swimming in between of extreme enjoyment and extremen pain.

BTW I am from Croatia and while things are okay now, there are tons of signs that in the next ~10 years things will turn to shit quickly!

I simply enjoy the pleasures the current world has to offer while hoping for some change without becoming obsessed with it. Sure the capitalist/communist dichotomy, the left right wing kosher sandwich and the elite epstein rings are tough blackpills to swallow, but at the end of the day I focus on the little things. A woman's touch/smile, playing with my dog, my money, teaching my little nephews etc. I simply can't afford to lose my sanity, I only have around 60 years to live.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm going to address the company part, because I think your job is the most important thing as everything else follows on from that. It's where you spend the majority of your life, and the job you have affects your mood every day and what freedom and choices you have in life.

I dunno man, I've worked for good companies and bad companies. The best experience I've ever had is working for a small, family owned business that's seeking growth. They're the most likely to care about you and value you. That's my current situation and I love it. I'm a manager with my own selected team and the owners are nothing but lovely and very supportive, understanding that my expertise is something they don't understand and so they give me a lot of freedom and trust to do my job right. That's why they hired me - to do something they can't do themselves, and they understand that and respect it. It's great.

Conversely, the worst experience I've ever had has also been a small family business. Greedy, nasty, mean-spirited owners who abused their staff in the search for profit. You've just got to keep looking until you find the right fit.

Just saying, there's lots of options out there and it's not all a big corporate nightmare. It's really important you find a good working environment for yourself because it's going to be where you spend the majority of your life, and everything else is going to be structured around that place and your position. It will bleed out into your mood and frame every single day. For men especially, how you are treated in your work environment affects your pride and how you view yourself, as well as how others see you.

My biggest words of advice are these: get qualified to DO something. Find a way so that you are trained and experienced in actually doing a thing that other people can't do without the same training and experience, or that they can't learn to do in a matter of weeks or months. I have two degrees in literature, but it wasn't until I actually trained to do a job that I started having any real options available to me. Learn a specific skill or a trade, then focus on that and never stop learning about it even when you have a good job. If I could start life over I would never attend university. I'd get an apprenticeship and learn a trade such as plumbing or electrician or mechanic then start my own business after 10 years of practice. All the stuff I picked up at university I could have gotten with a library card.

The simple diagnosis is you have no purpose. And you have no excuse to ignore it because purpose is a fundamental red pill tenet. Quit your job. Disrupt your life. “Those who seek to save their life, must lose it.”

Yeah we already know that society is going to shit, enjoy the decline.

[–]daredevil1302[S] -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

The problem in this sentence is the word "enjoy" for me. What is there to enjoy?

[–]Snowaey0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Enjoy your hobbies, women and find your purpose like everyone else here?

It seems like spinning plates is amazing, but then you realize it's an endless loop of just having sex with women while accomplishing nothing substantial in the meantime except adding a +1 to your n count

Pleasure does not equal happiness. What makes you happy?

It seems like you can't rely on democracy to fix the situation in this world that has turned upside down

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.

Life is meaningless, its your responsibility to make it meaningful for you.
From what I understand Nihilism states that life is meaningless and life is suffering.
But you need to make a reason for yourself to make the suffering worthwhile. That is your purpose.
A purpose judges you as a success or a failure; and there is no guarantee of a success. So why have a purpose? Because its beats the hell out of a pleasure driven life in the long run. A purpose is a burden and a responsibility.

Same. I’m deep in a stack of high quality plates but I want a family and I see no point in a life where that’s not an option, so my motivation to succeed and accomplish has gone

[–]Twenty_league_boots1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

It's still an option, those who say it's not are wrong. You do have to be very, very careful though. And have ALL your shit together.

[–]Sendmeloveletters0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

That’s comforting to hear someone say. I had my shit all the way together but then I softened up so she fed me the red pill and got on the carousel. I’ve always been redpilled and deep in my plate count, I don’t even know how it happened. And then everyone says it always happens. But I am tired of managing 3-10 girlfriends constantly and I want to have a few children who grow up with two parents and I feel like that’s not on the menu in 2019.

[–]Twenty_league_boots1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

It's worked for me, but you have to be completely in control of the situation.

if you're looking for purpose, you can find it in christianity, though, the men are beta as fuck. I don't get why men like this are asking their wives to look for leadership. WTF.

Just look for strong christian men, who are not weak, and strong in their purpose as a man, and look for worthy things. if you're interested, that is.

Also, beside christianity, you can have another purpose like: gun range, fitness, archery, horseback riding, survival training, or combat training, gardening. And anything else.

We're already living in the projected dystopian future

[–]uptimex0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, the same. But it become more assertive with time. You see what others cannot. You see real real social dynamics (not fancy RSD). You see what people want but cannot confess even to themselves. Hypergamy is always real, but you gotta understand that in most cases "honest, direct man, who says what he wants to get" considered as highest quality man.

After years being red-pilled,life really seems like it's a finished game that i'm just wandering around but that's when the real fun starts. After being red-pilled for so long, chasing for martyrdom and surviving it,i feel like i have total control over much more things that i used to.Red-pilling is martyrdom. Most people out there build their lives on weak foundation but those that accept the very harsh truths become desensitized as a side effect but really have control.

Take what you want from the world. Find a purpose and focus on it. That’s your life after the red pill.

I would recommend you listen to Owen Benjamin’s podcast

I'm very happily married and have a family and have been red pilled for years. I've never been sexually faithful to my wife and that works just fine. Highly recommend you still have kids/family, as long as you can control your woman. It brings tons of meaning to my life.

[–]2INNASKILLZ2K18-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This. I believe you can do it. It just needs to look different to the way society says it should.

[–]Noitrasama0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Travel to countries less touched by feminism. I've western friends who come to Africa & find meaning here. It's not paradise at all. But u don't get fucked by feminists laws. Again, hypergamy is,real even here. The difference is u as a man have more room to maneuver. U can easily hold frame. And if starting a family is important then it's easier. Even if u start a family, she can't divorce raped you...neither can she screw u via CS. Even if she attempts, the courts also speak the international universal language aka $. And best of all u can retire cheaply here. Try Asia also.

Thank you all for your replies. I will try to explore more possibilities and perspectives this life has to offer. I can not and will not give up.

Good luck to you all.
