Has anyone had it just click after enough time reading TRP and side bar material ? I have been posting in here for a round a year now and if you can see my back history its pretty fucking pathetic. After discovering Models by Mark Manson something finally clicked in my head. I wasn't living honestly to myself and my own needs. This was reflected in my shitty LTR/LDR. I was wasting my time and her time and it was 100% my fault. I finished the book and I immediately got in contact with her, told her the relationship was a sham and let her know it needed to end. There were some difficult but necessary things to address but ultimately I'm starting to feel better already. I feel like I can be ME again.

Models was the beginning, after that it was book of Pook that was the lightswitch.

Is there a hard copy available online on book of pook?

[–]dirtedev0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

There is but it was difficult to find.

[–]__TheDon__0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Reading the 37 rules to getting laid like a warlord change everything for me. Realizing that women testing my frame was a gift and a challenge rather than rejection and disinterest changed my dates from maybe a kiss to not finishing our first drink and them begging me to go back to my place. It allowed me to drown out the surface conversation and speak the underlying language of attraction not being a choice. Changed my life tbh.

Yeah man, you cant live life trying to please others, keep improving yourself and reap the rewards.

[–]2INNASKILLZ2K186 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Ok, so a book has 'clicked' for you. That's not the true click. That's just information. The real click comes from working to change your behaviour. Doing whatever it is to make you act more in-line with your true desires.

Then you put those behaviours out into the field, see the results, and you'll get the real 'oooohhhhh' moments. Red Pill isn't book theory, it's real life cause and effect.

[–]The_Belony0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I believe that he meant the "oh damn that explains everything that happenned in my life, it all makes sense" type of click

[–]Snowboard183 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It clicked for me after the first chapter of the rational male, shit blew my mind and made perfect sense reflecting on past relationships

[–]Bluedog5x52 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Hope it doesn’t wear off.

[–]Domebeers11 points12 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]Yanggang-Drew0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]The_Belony1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm suuuper tired so I don't have any in my mind except

Genesis 3:16 last sentence & Ephesian 5:22 (Tldr man dominates woman).

Anw shoot some rp truth I'll try to find a verse for it

[–]NoVirtueSignal5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes “All women are sluts, and just as bad if not worse then men” lol

[–]i-am-the-prize3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, Models is solid. now that you're single again, check out "The Natural" by Richard la Ruina... i'm really enjoying it.

[–]1XXXMersenne1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

There are many Satori Aha moments on this journey broh, I really enjoyed models too & had a similar experience.

My first major enlightenment however was the Game epiphany then various philosphical & Biotruths peddled by GLO.

TRP is a process so keep reading and reflect on your journey.

What the fuck are you talking about ?

[–]JensenMse0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It just clicked after reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck. I just felt I needed to stand up more for myself and make myself my owm mental point of origin. While I still feel the nice guy beta in me pushing all the time, I also feel my gut directing me towards the right choices in life. It's been an amazing trip ever since.

heartiste blog (then 'roissy', and now an archived heartiste org site since he got censored). Friend told me about it and I binged it, then became a regular reader.

One of the amusing things about Models by Mark Manson is the cover is relatively benign (subtitle is 'Attract Women Through Honesty', who could object to that- except of course for the fact that a man being seen to consciously try to be more attractive is taboo, meanwhile the grocery checkout aisle is stuffed with magazines for women on the same topic) and less likely to freak out someone who sees it on your shelf than a lot of other RP lit would be.

Actually I just searched it and it came up on amazon.ca. Not sure how to post a link.

I agree with the ideas in the comments about you having lots of "aha" moments on the journey in TRP. My last few. Mostly the basics that I see resonate in my life atm.

Don't do things FOR women but TO women. When you actually trigger those emotions, it's all you really wanna do around them. Hell, not doing things for them will do something to them sometimes.

Women will keep orbiters regardless of the drama they bring...hell they even enjoy it. My homegirl actually had a few us forcibly remove one of her male friends last year from her grad party after he went batshit and damn near tanked it. Legit had to stop on of the girls at the party from beating his ass. They're not only still friends but he comes all the time to her work to see her. Are they fucking? idk and idc but it's just like...wow.

The big one: Women's attraction to you is everything and yours to them means nothing. I see NiceGuys all the time trying to "show women how much they love them" and the women don't give 2 fucks about them. Yet women will chase and chase and chase after dudes when dudes have given no notion that they even wanna fuck with them. A coworker has lead a group of chicks on at our job ever since he started working there as he's been quoted on record saying he'd NEVER fuck a girl he works with.

My favorite thing I realized this week was when I told her I wanted to break up she said she wanted to be friends with benefits and she doesn’t want me to sleep with anyone else. I know damn well if I met up with her and tried to fuck her she herself would deny me . So I’m expected to not fuck anyone else even though I told her I want to break up yet even she herself is going to deny me. I just know she would based on past transactional sex .

[–]IXseed0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yea that's a backasswards ultimatum. Wtf?

Sounds like when girls ask to be in a "open relationship" but don't want the guy sleeping with other women. Basically it's just her trying to hard force you into orbiter status. To me; any time you're spending a lot of time with a women and you're not fucking her, you're an orbiter. Idc if you're her bf or her HUSBAND...dudes been in relationships with bitches and get NO play. Why the fuck would any self respecting guy want that?

There was a NiceGuy post or comment...I forget. But it was a dude who had a NG friend in college that had oneitis heave for a chick. The bitch wakes up one day and says "OK NG, we can LTR, but NO SEX". That shit lasted like...3 months. Basically the guy just did shit for this bitch and got nothing outta it, got pissed, and broke up with her.

[–]Shieldless_One0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

How did your ltr react after talking to her?

[–]csawyer86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

She cried a lot and said a lot of mean stuff in the moment . Then apologized after. She started acting like she was gonna force herself to stay a part of my life ( talking to my family, saying she’s still coming over for Christmas , ect ) then I told her no. If anything I will be friendly with you and your kids and that’s it. That’s the hardest thing about it is that I formed a bond with her daughter ( this was before I heard of the red pill and what it says about dating single moms) . But I’ve also been told by my therapist they children are resilient and they will move on as well. I have my own two kids who are in double digits age ( one is a teenager ) that I have to focus on as well and when I was in this serious relationship they were getting put on the back burner a little bit. There was ALOT to address and I think I did a pretty good job telling her what I need and she agreed that she needs to do the same thing ( work on herself ) . I don’t hate her because truth be told all of the problems were 100 % my fault because I broke pretty every red pill rule there is in the beginning . The thing is after swallowing the pill there’s really no turning back which means this relationship is going to be a casualty . I know deep down that I’ll be fine . It’s time to work on ME .

The concept of honesty in models is very well explained and it.clicks pretty good at the first read. Then you find it's a common thing in the best books, like NMMNG

[–]csawyer86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep! He even references NMMNG in Models

[–]TigerTamingSword0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Models and Book of Pook are among the best, I believe, because they're geared towards changing the way you frame your relationship with women; all the other technical game stuff is just troubleshooting. Working on your underlying beliefs about relationships is always much more effective that "do this" or "don't do that."

Recently I've been reading The Alabaster Girl by Zan Perrion. I think the guy is grossly underrated. Despite seemingly opposed to RP conventional game advice at first sight, the mindset he describes is very powerful and fantastic for your mental well being. I believe it's a good read for those stuck in the anger phase.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
