Summary: Girls has sex with guy regrets it months later, accuses him of sexual assault. He gets expelled and a judge now is allowing him to sue the school.

So a Washington and Lee University female student has sex with a guy more than once. brags to her friends about how much fun it was. becomes friends with the guy on social media, etc... then months later she sees him kiss another girl and accuses him of sexual assault because she regretted sleeping with him. Now a judge is allowing the male student to sue the university which derailed the entire investigation citing Title IX gender bias. You can see the story here: http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/23709/

Lesson learned: Just goes to show how much power the feminists have managed to grab in the last 30 something years. I don't know how but stay safe gents!

No shit. Fuck anyone that thinks of being "better than that".. I fucking hate how sue-happy people in the US have become, hate lawyers, and hate the courts.. But you reap what you sow.

If you or any entity attempts to ruin your life with something as drastic as a rape charge, I see no problem with crushing them to dust financially.

[–]bonjoe 94 points94 points [recovered] | Copy Link

His career prospects are likely ruined because Google never forgets. You must be compensated for shit like this, no way around it.

[–]dmystery 22 points23 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

European Legislation has upheld "the Right to be forgotten", is there not something similar over in the states?

[–]CyricYourGod 23 points24 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The concept of this is insane and will not ever work. Nothing you do will ever be forgotten because that's not how data distribution works. Data proliferates on the internet. You might be able to have single instances of data removed but it's rare that there's a single instance of data on a single server owned by a single entity.

In the case of this kid, his case is now being discussed here, robots who crawl and archive Reddit are already copying and saving this thread as we speak, those places and Reddit itself will be crawled by search engines across the world and saved. There'll be dozens if not hundreds of instances of this page saved within hours, all available in search engine indexes. That is just for one Reddit page. Let's not forget all the instances in social media, news, court hearings, etc., that are also found on the web related to this kid.

The internet does not "forget" and don't ever fool yourself into thinking it will ever forget no matter what white wig judge might say otherwise.

[–]drallcom3 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It only "forgets" you on google.de/es/fr. You're still on google.com.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (8 children) | Copy Link

Don't get frothed up; I remember a case against a Texas' Universities School of Law over their obvious racist admissions policy (the typical awarding of bonus admission points based on race).

The White Plaintiff (male of female, I can't recall) won after much expense, time, and legal maneuvering.

The award? 1 dollar.

The system will operate as designed and shit on you when it can.

So while I hope he hammers the school then goes after individuals, don't get your hopes up.

Question: did the Duke LaCrosse Men get a payday? Or not?

[–][deleted] 32 points33 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, the three accused dudes got 20 million each. Deserved every penny.

That fucking bitch who set them up didn't get charged with anything for making it up. She did however end up going to prison for knifing her baby daddy a few years after the whole incident.

That Duke Lacrosse thing should have been a wake up call to universities and society at large. It was a straight up railroad job against those kids.

[–][deleted]  (6 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

The dude whose fault it really was (the prosecutor who knew it was BS but thought it was too late to call it off because this was going to be his big break) got off basically Scott free.

He got disbarred and served 1 day in jail. One fucking day.

The bitch who made the whole thing up was straight up crazy, but this prosecutor knew exactly what he was doing, trying to make a name for himself, and he got a slap on the wrist.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

He should have served jail time, but disbarred is a sentence that is permanent in his case. He will never be a lawyer again, threw away his livelihood.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

So so SO not enough. I hate it when doctors or lawyers who have been caught in blatantly criminal activity simply lose their privileged to practice when a working man charged with the same code violations would have done time.

[–]samsonx 2 points2 points [recovered] | Copy Link

Good, fuck him, also the woman should be in a mental hospital.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

She's a stripper/possible hooker. Her life has almost sunk to the bottom.

[–]Raz0rLight 8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

A rape accusation is taken very seriously for fair reason. Problem being its fucking easy to accuse someone of rape for your own prerogative. Your reputation is ruined, you could lose the best years of your life in jail, and some bitch is out there smirking "serves him right, now he knows what its like to be betrayed", thinking its anywhere close, thinking she's won. And the school fucking assists her, and the school just stands by.

Fuck this shit, sue it for every penny.

[–]PaulAJK 24 points25 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's what will cure this particular problem, and it ought to happen pretty quick.

The Columbia mattress case guy could literally get a nine or even ten figure compensation against them. His life's been screwed up, after all, and they have oodles of cash. Once other colleges see the financial implications of losing these transparently unwinnable cases they'll change their policies.

[–]unassumingusername7 145 points146 points  (26 children) | Copy Link

Shit will change fast if universities have to worry about lawsuits from both sexes. Maybe they'll just make all students agree not to have sex as a condition for admittance. Or maybe they'll stop having pretend trials and let the real court system do its job.

[–][deleted] 94 points95 points  (12 children) | Copy Link

Perhaps they'll even have penalties for those who falsely accuse someone as a rapist.

[–]ShepherdTheRed 108 points109 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

False rape accusers should be registered sex offenders.

[–]fuckin_retard11 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes and no. The reason I say no is this: many men have been released from jail or absolved of all charges because the woman in question came out and said "I made it up." If the false accusers know that they will be put on a sex offender list if they admit their lie, then they are less likely to admit that they lied. Just my two cents

[–]StrokeGameHusky 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Very true, but that really only applies to cases that are already closed. those could easily be "grandfathered in" where the new law only applies to unsolved/new rape cases.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

They should also have a body camera implanted to prevent future false rape accusations, along with having their wages garnished in the future to pay back the man who was falsely accused.

[–]zookeepier 16 points17 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

They should just get whatever the person they falsely accused would have got if convicted. If the accused would have got 20 to life, then they should get it instead.

[–]pcadrian 12 points12 points [recovered] | Copy Link

Yea, who would've thought of THAT as a solution?

[–]nerif_oracle21 14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

thats like the government expecting women to responsible for their lies and pay for perjury /s

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

What? Making women have personal responsibility? Just tell men not to rape, shitlord!

[–]putsch80 16 points17 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

But but but that might discourage some woman from coming forward. It's better to throw 1000 innocent men in jail than to let one rapier to free! /s

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That argument makes 0 sense, if it really happened it will be fucking transparent. Even if you had regret sex, they won't be able to prove it. The only people who GENUINELY have to worry are those who fucking made it up.

[–]Rougepellet 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Woah slow down there pal. Little too much optimism

[–]themasterof 14 points14 points [recovered] | Copy Link

The best solution is to have the court systems do its job, and if the person is convicted of rape, they will go to jail and the university can expel them. All university courts should be abolished. They wouldn't try a murder in a university court, so why try rape in a university court?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Because who needs the 5th amendment, the founding fathers only had the foresight to ban double jeopardy, but clearly a bastardized version of a trial, with less standard of evidence is okay!! /s

[–]Meglomaniac 6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

"Please divert all claims of sexual assault/harassment to the police. It is not the place of the college/university to police our students behavior but those who are convicted of criminal charges will be expelled. We expect all students to govern themselves appropriately according to our laws"

How fucking hard is that?

[–]unassumingusername7 10 points11 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

It's funny that TRP thinks rape is serious enough to go to the police while feminists don't.

[–]Meglomaniac 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

i dont think 99% of rape cases deserve criminal charges.

I also dont think universities should be dealing with criminal charges, that is the job of the police.

[–]the_red_scimitar 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is extremely true. One big payout and all those rules will change to make it clear it is gender neutral. If they still fuck that up -- cha ching!

[–]loddfavne 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Maybe they'll just make all students agree not to have sex as a condition for admittance.

It was probably sarcasm, but monostaries had a role as a source for knowledge in medieval times.

[–][deleted]  (3 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–]unassumingusername7 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Does anyone have a source for this? I'm quite interested.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Maybe they'll just make all students agree not to have sex as a condition for admittance.

I like this idea! That would make university a place of learning again! (And we'd have to remove the Studies depts. and every feminist from campus.)

[–]Karmelion 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

This problem was already sliced by our grandparents. Gender segregated schools solves all of this nonsense.

[–]2comment 107 points108 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

I regret paying tuition.

I was only 17 when that relationship started. The College otoh was 150 years old. And kinda creepy. And everyone told me it was the thing to do. During our relationship I also was encourage to drink while underaged and do various drugs. Maybe the college didn't hand me these substances themselves, but it sure knew and it didn't bother them either. I'm pretty sure I went to plenty of classes less than sober and none of the professors even asked before they railed their filthy knowledge into my mind without proper consent. I also had to do a lot of work for free. I feel taken advantage of.

Now my jobs since then has nothing to do with my degree. Before I could even attend, the school forced me to sign a pre-admission form and now that I spent my peak years with them, with nothing to show for it -- they dumped my class for younger students. This wasn't remotely what I was promised or what I consented to. I regret going. I want my tuition back.

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

This is too spot on. Jesus.

[–]2comment 19 points20 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you feel the college experience they sold you was not the one you got or they implied a degree would lead to greater job opportunities than actually existed? You were defrauded, plain and simple, you lost the ability to consent the moment you were misinformed.

Time to claim the right of retroactive consent, #TuitionBack.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's an awesome false rape analogy. Jesus if that were true, no one would have any responsibility.

[–]Duliticolaparadoxa 71 points72 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I hope he wins and sets a legal precedent.

[–][deleted] 42 points43 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

The only way colleges and state governments will learn is through constant litigation. Once their balance sheets are affected, policy will change.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, once the winds of prosperity blow against these universities in the form of lawsuits these universities will have to steer a truer course or else be thrown from the great material continuum to be dashed on the shoals of bankruptcy.

Also pregnancies are leases.

[–][deleted] 32 points33 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Hope he takes the girl to civil court as well for slander, libel, and defamation.

[–]TRP VanguardtrpSenator 12 points13 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

And then hopefully goes to a higher court, so we can finally get some precedent behind this. But my money is on that they'd settle outside of court regardless.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 15 points16 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Awesome, more power to this guy! The tide has to turn on this Title IX gender bias crap in American Colleges.

[–]the_red_scimitar 20 points21 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminists don't understand how their own agenda is destroying their own agency, and handing it to others. They won't like the result, because fairness isn't in their vocabulary, except as a slang term for misandry.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

This is one of the top posts on r/news right now and what's interesting is how the vast majority are supporting the guy as the real victim. It's nice to see that white knight syndrome isn't overruling common sense for once, although it's a shame something this absurd has to happen before people start to question the system's fairness.

[–]throwaway-aa2 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

TBH the fact that a "win" for you (or us to be fair) is a guy who had consensual sex and got fired from his job and expelled is seen as the victim after being accused of rape MONTHS after the fact...is insane.

If women (or men) can't see men as victims... then why the fuck should I care AT ALL? That's really my new mentality moving forward... I'm already an evil man... I might as well do what I want at ALL TIMES.

[–]RPthrowaway123 27 points28 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

Fuck yes! To think, I almost went to that school. They made a big push for me athletics-wise but I went to a different school. Now I KNOW I made the right decision.

Oh and if you need to be convinced after that fact that what occurred was a rape, that should automatically throw it out. She was not raped. What the fuck does "gray rape" even mean?!

[–]jeffwingersballs 5 points6 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

FIRE.org rates universities based on their student speech codes. Just something to factor.

[–]RPthrowaway123 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I graduated already, but if I was going into school right now I would be very, very wary.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Are there any green schools in existence? Every university in my state* is yellow.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The fact that he's being allowed to sue at all marks a turn in the tide.

“Is it Possible That There Is Something In Between Consensual Sex And Rape . . . And That It Happens To Almost Every Girl Out There?”

[–]Dr_HoaxArthurWilmoth 9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Fucking Gray Rape?????? Let's just call a spade a spade and call it False Accusation Lying.

[–]DaphneDK 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Gray Rape is when girls are being abducted by extraterrestrial aliens which subject their various holes to intensive probing by dubious machinery. Only to be recalled through extensive hypnotherapy. I blame The Patriarchy.

[–]juanqunt 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

what does the slut say when she meets an alpha alien?

[–]1feminazis_stalk_me 22 points23 points  (13 children) | Copy Link

Get rid of coed colleges. Have men's colleges separate from women's colleges. Just nip that shit right in the bud. It will protect men from false claims and it will make men one less thing women have to worry about. Both men and women can just focus on their studies and get shit done.

[–]Senior Endorsed Contributormax_peenor 63 points64 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

The all-male schools will turn out degrees that are far superior than all-female schools and the feminists will go batshit insane about.

[–]2comment 42 points43 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

And then demand that the male schools take on female students and institute some type of affirmative action... while female schools can remain all female.

[–]DrXaos 14 points15 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

This is exactly what happened to the Ivy League & Women's colleges in the 1960's of course.

[–]1cover20 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes this happened. And the all male schools were doing great but could not remain all male because the women demanded the "opportunity".

The all women schools were doing worse and worse and now they've mostly gone coed from lack of female customers e.g. Vassar, Skidmore, Manhattanville. Girls don't want to be in an all female environment unless they are lesbians. And at some point girls didn't even want the reputational risk that might come from going there and having men think they are lesbians.

Maybe some feminists thought this would change once women could be strong and equal and not need men or the Mrs. degree. Nope.

And once they're full of man hating lesbians, men don't want to be there anyway. No men are demanding that "opportunity". So places like Smith and Mt. Holyoke are lesbian feminist cesspits.

They might do a service if they kept all the man haters there. But unfortunately there are lots more of them at MIT, the Ivy League, and probably everywhere else.

[–]1feminazis_stalk_me 16 points17 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Not. Our. Fucking. Problem. Take men out of the equation and let women do whatever the fuck they want amongst themselves - as long as we aren't the ones put on the butcher block whenever one of them goes all "hell hath no fury". Give us our own spaces to get shit done so this world keeps spinning and civilization can advance.

[–]2awalt_cupcake -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

And give them a sign up sheet to have sex with a randomly picked male. Better yet, have them pay us first. Women love spending money.

[–]1feminazis_stalk_me 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

You need to work in Admissions.

[–]JackGoldsteinWrites 3 points4 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

Not so sure.

They might have some sort of arcane conduct rules that allow expellation for off-campus behavior.

Think of it this way, there are no women in the NFL (referees aside) and players get suspended all the time for what they do to women (rightly or wrongly).

[–]BaconEggsAndSleaze 5 points5 points [recovered] | Copy Link

there are no women in the NFL

There is now an NFL Coach

TBH, she looks like bruce jenner.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

you won't convince me that's not a man with a sex change.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

"Why do I put myself out there like this? Well, football has often been referred to as the final frontier for women in sports, so for an NFL team to have brought a woman into the coaching ranks, that speaks volumes. It's an important step for girls and women to see. Being a woman is part of who I am. It's not all of who I am, and I’m not here just because I'm a woman. I'm here as a football coach.

If my opportunity in the NFL is a chance to show other women what’s possible in this world, and to show guys that there is another dimension to a lot of women—that this game that they love can be loved and respected by a woman—why wouldn’t I highlight that? At the same time, my most important obligation right now is helping Coach Arians and this team."

[–]selfishhuman 6 points6 points [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm just happy that the guy got some justice. These cases hardly ever go that smoothly for men.

[–]tsudonimh 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

No, he's won the right to pay a legal team lots of money for the chance to get some justice.

The fact that he even had to ask for fucking permission is an injustice.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't even understand how college is involved in this. Is it because college doesn't want to get bad reputation ("only rapists go there")?

[–]Senior Endorsed ContributorVasiliyZaitzev 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Title IX provides a extra-legal process that colleges have to allow b/c they are all dependent on federal funds. The alleged victims always choose the college judicial process b/c it's a much lower standard (preponderance of the evidence, or, well "FEELZ" really) than in the criminal justice process. Oh, and you don't get to cross examine the witnesses against you etc.

Really, this sort of bullshit is one reason to go to a state school where they have to observe due process b/c they're part of the government. Sure', they'll still screw you (cough-cough, UVa, cough-cough), but you can NAIL them later.

[–]the_red_scimitar -4 points-3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

So, according to Donald Trump, all their students are Mexicans???

[–]brendan250 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I would urge him to take legal action to the fullest extent. It's tiring to constantly hear of young men with potential being ruined by "the system". Maybe a few people will learn from this.

[–]coin8300 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

People will do whatever they can to throw you under the bus and take advantage of you, especially women even as they smile at you and pretent to be kind - dont ever forget that. They are tricks to the bone and barely know it themselves. Claiming victim status, complaining, and throwing tantrums has been the trend for some time now. Its time to stop putting up with that shit and frankly I hope it escalates to where if you see another man catering to this behavior you treat him like the fucking woman he is. You need to actually stand up and express anger towards false rape claims and women getting off the hook. Stand up for women getting handed jobs they never earned (they want 50/50 representation in STEM jobs while few of them actually go to college for it). Stand up to women cashing out on marriages and taking half of a mans hard earned money. Stand up for preferential treatment everywhere they go. And stand up to weak beta men bending over backwards for them. You want equality, you can fucking have it.

[–]cleamatra 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I can't believe there is even a concept called "grey rape" for women who regret having given consent at some point in the past. Holy fucking shit lord that is messed up.

[–]redmeatball 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Whoa, is this the beginning of justice?

[–]1commentatorX 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Honestly, it's fair enough suing the school for failing to protect him - but if I were this guy, I'd want my 'get' from the girl... you know, the dramatic false accuser, the childish fraudster, the liar, the one who's bullshit stood to ruin him... not the establishment. I find it seriously disturbing that her actions don't count as a criminal.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Shortly before Jane Doe officially lodged the assault claim, she listened to a campus talk by Kozak in which the administrator discussed an article, “Is it Possible That There Is Something In Between Consensual Sex And Rape . . . And That It Happens To Almost Every Girl Out There?” It was during this talk Kozak reportedly suggested regret over a sexual encounter equals rape, the judge’s ruling stated.

Holy shit, if anyone needs to get fired and sued it's this stupid broad.

[–]deville05 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminists only gave all this power cuz men betrayed their kind and their future for greed and gave it to them

[–]throwaway-aa2 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

He should sue his place of work too for gender bias as well. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I know most companies do at will employment but you can't fire someone for their race so why should you be able to fire a man if he gets caught up in a rape allegation?

[–]Throway99038 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Can't believe the guilty till you are proven innocent approach that gets taken in sexual assault cases. It's just pure bs.

[–]DoesNotMatterAnymore 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

As I mentioned before, rape and sexual assault is not a crime in US campuses. Because in civilized countries these crimes are handled by the police and not school boards.

[–]Magnum256 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

In a perfect world he wins a billion dollars and the woman who made a false accusation spends 25 years in prison. Hopefully as time goes by (maybe not in our lifetime) there's tremendously strict and regularly enforced laws that might discourage people from making these sorts of false claims. It can be, and often is, life destroying.

[–]Throway99038 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Hope the guy gets a big ass settlement and a public letter of apology from the university.

[–]grewapair 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

We need to nullify rape cases because there is literally no consequences for falsely claiming rape.

If anyone can do it and get away with it, then I'm not ever convicting a rapist, even with witnesses and a video. Fuck this shit.

[–]WAFC -3 points-2 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

I don't know how but stay safe gents!

It's very simple, but simple doesn't mean easy. If you are a college student: DO. NOT. SLEEP. WITH. COLLEGE GIRLS. The end.

Yes, I know they're fucking hot (I'm a Sr. myself). I know they are dirty and will do wild shit, I know...I KNOW. But they have the power to FUCK UP YOUR LIFE, derail your entire life, ruin the years of work you've put in to get to this point and walk away unscathed.

I don't care if you're the Chaddiest Alpha to ever swing dick, this CAN happen to you, because it is based entirely on her feelings, and her feelings can change. For example, you fuck her friend, now she feels like a slut. You're a rapist and expelled because you have no hope of defending yourself in a kangaroo court.

It sucks, it's not fair, and the solution isn't something anyone wants to hear, but if this happens to you in 2015, after years of story after story like this, well, then IT WAS YOUR FAULT. Not hers, not the school's, YOURS.

[–]f3yleaf -2 points-1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]WAFC 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Jesus Christ. Like there's no pussy off-campus and college girls are the only thing available. Fuck off.

[–]ABC_Florida -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Shouldn't be a time window to report rape without physical evidence?

If someone reports a rape after X amount of time of the rape (or alleged rape)

OR

X amount of time he/she wasn't limited in her/she freedom of movement, then the police would drop the case due to lack of evidence.

[–]BlueFreedom420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Some bitch got 800,000 dollars suing the University of Oregon. I doubt this guy will even get even close to that amount. Because the underlying feminist dogma that men are never innocent, they just get away with rape, will always punctuate the case.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
