I’m curious as to why women sort of get ok treatment after their CC days even the “Christian” church girls.

I know I can’t see everything going on in their lives but why does it seem like they get off the hook and still get blessed with great families amongst other things.

Also curious if they have a conscience or does it differ from mens?

Maybe I’ve been exposed to a toxic “Christian” community and need to get out.

The church should forgive a woman for that. A man should forgive her, yet realize there are better options for a wife. The problem is that our society has castrated so many men that a large percentage of them will go with any woman that gives them the time of day. The solution is simple: begin raising your male children in masculinity early and set a good example. There's no real society-wide simple fix. It starts with yourself becoming a valuable, masculine man who then teaches his male children the same and that they understand their own inherent value. RP ideology used to be known by everyone to some degree. Then the social upheavals in the last century turned all of that on its head. We are simply rediscovering the truths that our ancestors knew for millennia. The key is to pass those truths on.

Imo it's related to the welfare state. Before the welfare state, if a woman slept around then she would get pregnant with the child of a guy who wouldn't or couldn't provide for the child. So then she would either have to rely on her parents or just be SOL. Abandon the child to some nuns or something. So that's why there was a very strong stigma against sleeping around. Nowadays she has the welfare state to provide for her, or to ensure that the man provides for her through child support, no matter where he is, so no one really has as obvious of a reason to protest against her promiscuity. Not to mention the prevalence of birth control and abortion..

I see it as a loss of accountability and responsibility and not fearing God or consequences.

Hopefully, things start turning around in the world even if for a little while.

I think you're getting downvoted since you don't actually offer much proof to your points.

I would start by saying that women do a better job playing the part in Christian circles. This means that they have a better understanding of how to create responses from individuals that make them feel good about themselves. Women are much better at pleading to a group and receiving a sense of "welcoming back". Whether their "conversion" is genuine or not, this doesn't change the fact that women are significantly better at sequestering these feelings and emotions. we all ultimately want to believe that someone has changed, even if they haven't really changed that much. So pursuing fleshly desires is very much something that everyone can relate to and I believe it's also part of why you might feel like it's ignored or brushed over. It's viewed as something everyone is dealing with at some point, an opportunity to label that as your past provide you a freedom to not be defined by that identity now.

Keep in mind how humans handle shame. A woman who rode the CC as you say, would have the most incentive to fully embrace the traditional/conservative view. This protection offers them meaning/acceptance and increases their respective value within the community.

Given this mental separation, it makes perfect sense that a given woman who embraced the CC at some point in her past will now seek to be as far from it as possible. Most importantly, the public image that you see will be a complete opposite.

A practical example. Let us presume a woman who once rode the CC but now claims to be a born again Christian. Let us also assume that her conversion is genuine, and she is pursuing a traditional / conservative lifestyle now. Like I said above what provides her the most opportunity for acceptance from men and women? There's your answer. Even though we all have sinful natures, it feels really good and freeing to label certain sins as the past self.

Lastly, as a Christian I believe that we should practice dangerous forgiveness. Now I don't mean dangerous to our physical or spiritual health. I'm speaking that we should give people who are entering into the community the benefit of the doubt until they prove us otherwise, while knowing that everyone has their issues.

For women, it's easier to place the promiscuous past in the past as woman's desires tend to change towards something more stable, and the creation of a family. This means there's a biological imperative for women to forsake their CC past, which benefits everyone. Whereas a man, especially a red pilled man, would not have the same imperative.

This was a good read and made sense. Thanks.

Do you have a problem with sinners who turn their lives around? It seems to me like you have the same issue as the Prodigal son's brother. Or the same issue that the workers who worked the fields all day for 1 coin did, when the boss called in people to work for 1 coin in return for only an afternoon's work.

The whole point of Jesus is that anyone can be SAVED. And yes mate, all who trust in the Lord WILL BE BLESSED.

Its not just being in a "toxic" community. This is actually a very common place to be in the faith journey. You need to develop that same lens that Jesus sees everybody through. I sometimes have a bias against Muslims funnily enough, but Jesus sees them as worth dying for just the same as me. So I need to correct my imperfect view to match His.

It wasn’t towards sinners who become saved. This is towards those who were already saved or maybe their conversion wasn’t “real” (I have no say on that).

I just don’t understand why the “Super Christians” I’ve met, always seem to get the worst end of the stick. While those who splendor in sin seem fine. You reap what you sow but for some reason those who don’t really sow bad seeds, reap a bad harvest. It’s possibly just a show for the Churchians.

Your comment gave me a lot of insight and I’ll munch on it as I am guilty. I’m not perfect and definitely have logs in my own eye. Sin is sin, and measuring it does no good.

I really try to be well with God and try my best not to fall into sin. It really disappoints me with the things I’ve seen in this world. Sometimes I wish I hadn’t seen it. But truth is truth and I wouldn’t change it for ignorant bliss.

Thank you for your comment, it was very helpful.

I need to stop focusing on others and focus on my own journey and relationship with Christ.

Ahhh, I think I understand where you're coming from.

I'd love to see what "Super Christians" you are talking about, because often its the overly religious who are living in mires of self-hate and perpetual guilt. Resulting in a life strangled by doubt, hesitancy and bitterness. Sometimes, purely because they are not held back by these things, people whom we might regard as 'living in sin' - live life much better than a lot of Christians do - especially "super Christians" as you said.

The problem isn't with 'sin' or 'temptation', the problem lies within the way we view God and what we think His attitude towards us really is.

Jesus does not want you to be weighed down by your concern over your sin. He has dealt with it, forever. He wants you to take responsibility for your life and use everything He has given you to the fullest extent - for His glory.

  • When we are overly concerned with sin, we are essentially frozen - which is exactly what the enemy wants.
  • Live life without fear. Because fear is not from God.

Some of my favorite verses in the Bible simply talk about being Joyful, living at peace and the finality of what Jesus did at the cross. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, John 16:33, 1 John 5:13. So be faithfully ambitious, just as Peter was on the water. Because the worst thing that can happen, is Jesus picking you back up.

*Also* There is a concept called 'common grace' which basically means that God is favorably disposed towards all His creatures, not just the elect. If it weren't for this, the world would be uninhabitable. So yes, people living in sin can have healthy and happy families, but this doesn't mean they are saved.

Thanks for your reply, I kind of typed a lot but just felt like this was relevant.

You nailed it with the old brother. Furiously jealous because his brother got to party but too weak and passive to follow his lead. Penultimate beta with covert contracts and passive aggressive behavior (he refuses to come inside and face his father and brother).

This story, more than any in the Bible, is the story RP in a nutshell.

[–]afterthe_fapocalypse0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

idk if it's so much jealousy as human desire for justice. the younger one got no profit from his pleasure. he ruined his life. but all the while he was still a son of the father. It's a story of the Pharisees as the elder brother, who obeyed all the laws but forgot basic truths like they were part of a family, the same family that the people Jesus was sent to save were from.

Don't RP the Bible where it isn't explicitly stated such. Sure, it can offer perspective, but to consider that a hermeneutic is really more like a private speculation than the kind of blind certainty you seem to have confidence in.

The Church is a place for forgiveness. But a woman who is not really penitent and just ongoing hypergamy should be kicked out.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
