A shiver went down my spine as I was reading this. Beautifully written!

Hahah was gonna comment that too, well written OP

Goosebumps here. He’s speaking to me/us

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I was reading this while listening to why do we fall from dark knight rises lmao so epic

Its despicable toxic masculinity like this that has this sub rightfully quarantined!

great writing, please post more.

[–]AreOut 20 points21 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

this post is obviously so racist and misogynist as well...

[–]Endorsed ContributorWe_Are_Legion 75 points76 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

I liked this. Sometimes motivation is needed.

It somewhat describes my own waking up.

[–]jackandjill22 7 points8 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

This sounds like people who have a video game/weed addiction.

[–]no-negativity-20 points [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

Or people who eat like shit, falling down the mountain reminds me of a person gaining weight and losing all his muscle

I fell into a hard depression beginning of the year. All I did was sleep and eat. I was a stick and I unmedicated, not concentrated. Girlfriend treated me like complete garbage

Read the second half of me going back on adhd meds, hitting the gym and hanging out with friends, getting more notice at work and now doing things for the highest level executive, doing presentations

It’s a hellish road falling but we make it bearable through some form of addiction, in your example, video games. My gf leaving me was the best thing that has happened this year. I let her drag me down my mountain to the point where I had almost no self respect.

[–]jackandjill22 7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

People don't usually discuss this part. I respect you.

These were never problems I had. I'm an only child that hates dating so being dragged down by shitty circumstances never happened. After adapting to no-one giving a fuck I just dominated & now it is what it is. I respect people who had to have that cathartic moment, that catalyst in that deep dark place that made them wake up & aspire to be more alive.

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

OP is the lost bob dylan of our generation. Get a pen and a guitar, my dude. You are very, very good at writing. Its a skill that can be learned, and not taught.

Edit: there are at least 3 things i would steal, shamelessly , now i have to look at everything in your comment history.

[–]Jaxx_Teller 63 points64 points  (38 children) | Copy Link

Inb4 the squares start declaring that this isn’t about sexual strategy so it shouldn’t be on here.

[–]italianorgan[S] 53 points54 points  (37 children) | Copy Link

I thought that would happen, their life revolves around sex and women

[–]Jaxx_Teller 58 points59 points  (20 children) | Copy Link

Dumbest thing about this place. There’s a whole fucking spectrum of existence through an RP lens that deserves much more discussion and reflection. But hey instead of furthering the community lets just continue to beat a dead fucking horse.

[–]Chaddeus_Rex 11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This post is good because it talks about the mindset of a man. He endures pain.

For a man to live is to endure.

[–]italianorgan[S] 28 points29 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

And yet some of the people who claim to be "red pilled" are closed minded just in a different way

[–]Turkerthelurker 4 points5 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

I find the phrase of "enjoy the decline" to be a good example of that.

On a personal level, we advise one to embrace reality, accept the blame that only the individual can improve their own situation, and acknowledge that personal responsibility and a mission are what give men's lives meaning.

But when it comes to the level of society, the advice is essentially "fuck it, that's out of your control." What if enjoying the decline accelerates the decline? How does that play into personal accountability? What if the decline can be reversed, it just takes us personally making it our mission to reverse it? Obviously there's a place for the redpill, as it really is required reading for a guy to break out of the bluepill programming received since birth. But after a little time, one should get over the anger and see that isn't just sexual dynamics, but a re-occurring theme of divide and conquer. Of pitting people against each other. Of collapsing western society.

I get that the deck is stacked against men, and there's a long way to go to repairing the schism between the sexes, but it isn't irreparable. If one truly enjoys the decline, great for you I suppose - I wish I did too. But for the most part, the men I talk to don't enjoy the decline - they are just as lost and confused as the women that fell for feminism - even after swallowing the red pill.

[–]look_good 9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

What if the decline can be reversed, it just takes us personally making it our mission to reverse it

there’s a familiar rap quote...”don’t save her, she don’t wanna be saved”

try to be the hero if you want...just know heroes get shit on

[–]Turkerthelurker 4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I’m not talking about playing captain save a ho. The goal is still to become a rp man with abundance mentality. If you can truly enjoy the decline, go for it. I’m speaking to those that don’t enjoy the decline, or don’t take pleasure in the idea of enjoying the decline.

I’m talking about those whose “mission” is opposed to “enjoying the decline” by sheer conflict of interest.

[–]ZephyrBluu 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I assume by "enjoy the decline" you mean the decline of intersexual relations.

It might take a while but the way I see it it can self correct in 2 ways. Either women get too fucked off with beta men or beta men get too fucked off with women.

I honestly don't know what will come first. 90% of young girls are fucking 'thots', vapid and blatantly hypergamous but dudes take it like a dildo up their ass and the chicks seem happy with their bitch boys so idk.

I believe they have adapted their views to the times. While sexual strategy is still primary lots of other ideas are coming up. The first and foremost purpose of the sub remains sexual strategy - to show men the true nature of women and how to proceed. Ofcourse things have changed along the way , haven't they u/redpillschool? Lately it's a mix of everything and just generally viewing the world as it is and how to navigate it.

[–]modTheRedPike[M] -12 points-11 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

It's called "staying on topic." You have to do this otherwise people start wandering off into the weeds yapping about all sorts of shit. There are plenty of other places that have topics related to red pill awareness. Some of them on reddit and deal with everything from general politics through mens rights. Or you can sit on the edge of the abyss any watch /pol/ shake the very core of modern progressive thought. I visit these places from time to time and enjoy other topics.

That is not here. This place is about sexual strategy. Enjoy that here. Enjoy other stuff elsewhere.

Shit-ace the concern trolling people or Imma gonna get trigger happy.

“Self-improvement for men” minus sex = MGTOW. Rather than bitch here those chubs need to hang out there

[–]modTheRedPike 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

They talk about the good old days of TRP, but this has actually been a problem for quite some time.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Its ironic that a sub dedicated to men becoming better men, and having better, more fulfilling relationships with women is so vilified.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not at all ironic. Better, stronger and more fulfilled men are far harder to control or manipulate.

[–]wendysNO1wcheese 9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

There are many different aspects to trp and each post is about one. Some try to encapsulate all. Many here know which posts deserve what comments. Comparative to almost any other subject or group, this place has a lot less contrarians/naggers. Every single place has those people as well as those that take the comments of those one or two people and make it seem like it's almost the status quo. So they go on and then make a comment about them making a comment. People then all agree because they want to fit it and feel better than those that are being reprimanded. It's really fucking tedious. Just like my comment.

[–]italianorgan[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I agree, it's just that some people don't see the big picture

And why did he said that about Nietzsche? I am going to start reading "The antichrist" do you recommend me something else before reading it? Also its my first time in TRP

[–]1dongpal7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

you think people state their reason why they said something? you can have the most brilliant idea, a person calls you dumb retard, downvotes you and gets upvoted. and you dont even know why. as I just said many years ago, it should be not possible to downvote stuff without writing a reason

[–]Deadlybeef 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

it should be not possible to downvote stuff without writing a reason

It shouldn't be there at all. Most people are retards, and they take critique as a personal attack, and not as an opportunity to better themselves. I can't count the number of times I've elaborately researched stuff, put it into a post, for it to get downvoted without any counter argument. It's a sad reality, where every idiot thinks he is right, without even losing a second at researching the given subject. Fuck ignorant people.

i was going to sit at my computer and waste another several hours today. This actually motivated me to get off my but, and start that slow crawl up my inner mountain.

thanks.

Depend what you would be doing at the computer.

Online course for a degree, learning a language, reading a book pdf, YouTube tutorials are all beneficial.

Just so long as you weren't planning on pulling the stomach off yourself for 8 hours on porn.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Just yesterday I passed my checkride and became an instrument rated pilot. It’s generally considered the most difficult. I passed with flying colors, no less.

I started work on that rating in 2012 but college, work, and (most importantly and with most effect by far,) my slide down that very slope you speak of put an end to that.

After a year at a lucrative but soul-sucking job I realized I was probably not gonna make 40 if I didn’t change something.

I left it, and in the skies, my home all along, is where I forge that better man. I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long, long time. Since I became a pilot, really.

I generally just drink black coffee for breakfast and maybe have eggs, some meat, and vegetables.

The weight is sliding off little by little, and I could happily keep this routine up for the rest of my life. I should start lifting to really top it all off.

These posts are the best, tbh. Women can only fill one void and it’s not nearly as big a void as will be left if you focus only on women. Focus on you.

[–]jappycontin 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That was beautiful. Made me feel the fury.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow, this was extremely well written and motivational. Thanks a bunch, OP, actually needed this!

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you do birthday parties?

[–]Starfuckingman 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Why was this removed? Mods?

[–]peruvianlurker 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I needed to read this ty, and more.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Definitely needed this. I've been going back to the ex-GF and hooking up with her because the self-doubter in me believes I can't find anyone else for that matter.

[–]DDXIII 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Really well written. However, I'd interpret the end differently:

  • The coward is alive. Even though he may be starved until bare bone and covered in thick chains. He is watching you and feeding on leftovers, unfullfilled conquests. And he constantly begs you to stay just a bit longer. He isn't trying to escape by this point. After all, he didn't change much - sitting around, doing nothing, powerless. You may ask "What could it hurt to listen to him a bit longer?". Until you realize: The prisoner always talks about being free, happy and having no responsibilites, as he sits there alone. The difference between you? You are standing straight as you saw past the first hill. The key was never the issue.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

You stop again and again, and relapse and fail, but every time you stop, you last a little longer, and the man inside you comes closer and closer to breaking his chains.

Thanks, needed this today. Felt like giving up over the past few days, and skipped lifting yesterday because of it. But I'm ready to get back on horse tomorrow (no excuses for not lifting tonight - I'm meeting a friend at the gym tomorrow instead)

[–]344354as 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Can you believe it took me thirty years to realize that having nowhere to be is the opposite of freedom?

[–]1dongpal10 points11 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

I dont understand the point or intention of your post. What is the pain you talking about? The chains? What is the problem here? My comfortable life?

[–]AreOut 10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes. You have to get out of your comfort zone because you can do better.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Posting on reddit all day and never pushing yourself, basically. You’re only ever in the internet. You don’t learn much, don’t do much, and don’t live much. It’s hell.

[–]1dongpal 3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Why is it hell? Why do I have to "live much" and "do much" to feel good? What if I feel good when I dont do anything important and I can just relax and do my internet stuff without pushing myself? Why cant I just play video games all day long?

[–]RedUtopia 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's probably for people who want more in life

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Because it consistently is either a cause or symptom of depression and emptiness and you being a nihilist edgelord won’t change that the human psyche is grievously damaged by such a lifestyle in the vast majority of cases.

[–]Chaosblade1409 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]DeontologicalSanders 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]11-Eleven-11 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]presto_manifesto 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This community is quarantined: It is dedicated to shocking or highly offensive content.

People can be pretty fucking gay on this sub. but this isn't gay, or shocking or offensive. Maybe it would be to those who want very much for you to keep yourself (yes yourself, if anyone else was holding you down they stopped a long long time ago, confident that you were irrevocably vanquished and locking your own leg irons, forever,) in a prison loop. I can see why certain types of people would wish to "quarantine" posts like this, because let's face it: if every born leader beaten down by the slow drip of mediocrity and disappointment, were to suddenly all start moving forward with purpose again, the smug ratfucks of the world would be revealed as useless and false as everyone already knows they are, if only subconsciously.

[–]Loze1 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Needed to read this today. Thanks, OP.

[–]SuspiciousBed 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is beautiful man, and vividly captures what I and I’m sure a lot of other young men are contending with

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely great writing, OP. I love the message and the way you delivered it. Keep up the good work brother

[–]Olram_Sacul 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Look guys, nothing makes sense. Every system, every theory, is just a way to cope with the fact that we are born alone and we’ll die alone. What’s in the middle is only a pasttime. Try to make the best of the time you’re given.

[–]markinsinz7 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's tricky though your message is meant to create action but it's super dopamine hitting too resulting that you could write more n more good shit but it's just different or similar ideas rehashed beautifully with a way of inspiring and provoking your readers or target audience with a considerable force but yet not enough to get them to do shit. It's an ironic thing if you get what I mean

[–]EatMyDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The description of the first part is very similar to a dopamine deficiency, that could be the cause of that way of living or the result of living like that for a long time.It shouldn't be views as a crutch but raising dopamine can help one get away from that vicious circle.

[–]DamiensLust 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

this is pseudoscience, your brain & body have massive amounts of dopamine and it's very easy to synthesize from even a shitty diet. "dopamine deficiency" is known as parkinson's and is pretty obvious & distinct though people on reddit like to take their depression symptoms and try and trace what neurotransmitter they must be "deficient" in based on nothing but intuition and it has about as much scientific backing as homeopathy.

Could you stop using "god damn it" and "damn" because saying a similar thing as "god damn it" means something like "god/evil spirit(s) pretending to be "god(s)" (in Christian belief) to be allowed to (by someone(s) saying those three words etc.) condemn some humans and spirits by alleged god to suffer eternal punishment (eternal torture) in hell (definition of damn) it"

Torture is a too evil crime.
