Red Pill TheoryCollegeLand: The Basics (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist

When I got to college I had two goals in mind:

  1. Commission into the Army

  2. Live like Otter in “Animal House”

I was lucky and accomplished my goals. Looking back on it, I learned why.

At the end of the day you’re there to work

Remember, living life like Van Wilder or John Belushi is fun and all, but never at the expense of your grades. Someone is paying 4-5 times the average American salary for you to go there, so fucking reward their investment in you. There is nothing fun or attractive about being slow or ungrateful.

In college I got up at 5 every day to lift. Outside of the obvious discipline it takes to get up that early when you have no reason to, it helped me to see a glorious opportunity, nobody is awake before noon. It became my religion. Get up, lift, study. There are absolutely no distractions at this time so you can and should crush all your homework in these glorious hours.

I majored in math in college, and the 5 to 6 hours between lifting and lunch gave me ample time to complete all my assignments. This is your first priority, Monday through Friday and if you do it right you should have nothing left to do but party on the weekends.

You don’t have to take care of your studies the way I did, but I can tell you from experience that if you want the time and freedom to have a kickass social life, my way is god damn effective.

Talk to everyone

I’m not kidding. Go with people everywhere and to everything. If you find yourself alone, go chat up people at your destination or on the way to it. College is a team effort, and nobody wants to be left behind. Who knows, that lame guy that you sat down next to at lunch that one time last semester could make a million dollars overnight because he developed an app then come to you because you were the only guy that was nice to him. (I've seen it happen)

Remember, while you don’t want to build your circle with losers, never ever step on them. You are all on a level playing field so you should concentrate on adding value to everyone you meet and building relationships with those who reciprocate. It is the most valuable skill you can learn while at college.

Story Time: One day I couldn’t recruit anybody to go out to chipotle with me (Strange I know). Instead of being a loser about it, I saw it as an opportunity to make friends. Once I got there I asked a group of four guys if I could sit down with them. Turns out, it was the rush committee of Tau Kappa Epsilon. I was pretty late in the game when it came to rushing but I managed to parlay that chance encounter into the last rush party invite at the place I would one day become rush chairman.

I wanted to be in Greek Life. You don’t have to be, but take out the Greek references and you can apply that situation to anything in college. The point is something as simple as asking to sit down with some random bros can alter your existence.

Get (red pill) plugged in

This is your most important goal and its tied in with talking to everyone. Get involved, with everything. Ok, not everything but you should be in at least 1 club (fraternities don’t count) and something off campus as well. Why, because you must cast a wide net to catch a big fish.

You want to sit in your dorm and play video games all day, too fucking bad. The only time you should be doing that is when you’re doing it with your boys who you go out and have fun with.

Here’s the skinny, the guys that succeed at college are the ones with the biggest social circle, therefore the most access to parties and girls. Also, your perspective needs to be bigger than any one group of friends.

As your popularity outside of any one circle gathers momentum, a funny thing will happen to you. People will notice that your time is valuable, that you are always doing something fun, and that you are spending time at cool parties and outside shit that they don't have access to. Thanks to the work you put in on getting to know everyone, people (read sorostitutes) will start coming to you to for fun and make it their goal to become your friend.

Your journey to the top has begun

These are just the basics, but because they are the basics, you can apply them at any point in college. Get rid of all the excess, have some discipline, and get out there.

More to come

Happy Slaying

This is all great advise, especially the part about not deriding the losers. Building the value of everyone around you is such an incredible skill that takes practice, and what better practice than a place like college where everyone is in a "value adding" stage of their life. Obligatory "Lol TKE"

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 11 points12 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

Lol TKE

Say what you want. I had the time of my life.

Everyone usually gets so caught up in what college should be like they never figure out the basic factors that makes it happen. Never again will you have such a social opportunity to practice the only translatable skill from college.

[permanently deleted]

[–]PEALYO 4 points4 points [recovered] | Copy Link

People fail to critically think. I don't hate all TKE's, but that's cause I'm not an idiot and I know Greeks vary hugely from one campus to another. Our Theta Chi was THE druggie frat, but at my friends college Theta Chi it was all the preppy kids. People love to lump other people into groups but hate when it happens to them. Same old, Same old.

BUT the TKE on my campus literally raped a bunch of girls. They all went to the hospital and tested positive for roofies and TKE just barely didn't get kicked off of campus because they were rich and their dads donated a bunch of money. Maybe it's just me, but needing to roofie girls to get them to sleep with you isn't very alpha.

[–]Tremainne-1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Pi Xi here, good to see the mindset being spread to the right people.

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

do/did you actually enjoy the social stuff or did you do it like some kind of job to get status and contacts? am i weird if i take socializing as another compulsory chore i "should" do?

[–]macksdowntownsong 36 points37 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

One more thing, do not try any of that PUA nonsense in college, it will pummel your reputation among your peers and girls will always know you as that creepy guy on campus.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 20 points21 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

God, THIS! THIS! THIS!

What gets you laid in college is reputation and your social circle. I will expand on this further in future posts but please up vote this to the top

[–]ASAP_Bickle 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Make a quick edit at the bottom of the post to add this in. Otherwise fantastic post for me starting uni in two weeks, love your work.

[–]76willcommenceagain 21 points22 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

This wasn't really touched on but staying in shape is KEY in college. It'll attract you lots of girls which will attract you a lot of dudes wanting to hang out too

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 14 points15 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Got a whole post on that coming, sir.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

Remember, while you don’t want to build your circle with losers, never ever step on them.

This is more general than just college. We've all experienced in our RP journey, becoming better than our friends and family and noticing their negative reactions towards this. I saw this as I grew apart from my friends who didn't agree with my ideology until one day I had a brilliant thought. "Don't turn against BP friends. Use them." We understand the games being played enough to manipulate them in our favor.

That BP guy that you grew angry toward or resented you for growing as a RP man? He could have access to a better paying job that you want. He might need someone to go on a vacation with and invite you, etc.. i.e. They could prove useful to you. (A few of the 48 come to mind here)

Back to the post, though. Do you have any advice specifically for a fellow math major?

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Form a study group with at least one person who doubles as a tutor and GO TO OFFICE HOURS. Even Especially if you don't need to.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Office hours is what you're really paying for. Especially if you go to a state school w/ 400 person lectures. You really want to learn something? Go to a teacher's office hours for the same class but different teacher than you are taking.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Any anecdotal experience with that?

[–]rpscrote 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

The purpose of BP is to be used. They are followers to the leaders. There can't be leaders without followers.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Very beautiful post.

Well written, nice injection of testosterone, very sound advice too.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Thanks.

Sometimes the best advice is the most obvious.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

A lot of red pill advice is pretty obvious once you get the right mindset. I'm FIRMLY of the belief that a man who truly respects himself would be very successful at virtually everything without the red pill. He'd respect his time enough to not give it to a woman who isn't providing something of reciprocal value. He'd treat a shit test like a joke because he's confident enough in his own frame and mindset. He'd open up new opportunities because he respects his desires and intuitions enough to go for them. Most well regarded RPers really don't need this place aside from the fact that validation is fun and philosophizing about new untouched or even taboo ground pretty sweet. Plus, nobody knows everything so you do learn some shit.

The best posts IMO are not always new or deep theory. They frame intuitively sensible ideas in a sort of tone or lighting that they become attractive to think about, motivating, and thematically similar to shared values like purpose, masculinity, and other phallic attitudes. It's a point of view shift as much as a knowledge bade and the point of view shift is often less obvious than the advice contained within. That sort of writing is a kind of artistic expression in my opinion and it gives this place a lot of light and appeal that a serious factual academic environment just wouldn't do. I think this post does a really good job of presenting things like that and I enjoyed reading it.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

Listen to this man. I did exactly the opposite and had a shitty college experience even though I thought I was having a good time, at least for the first two years, until all the partying caught up with my biochemistry. I didn't get religion until senior year, and by then, it was time to graduate and go into the rat race.

Actually, fuck it, start doing this in high school, or even junior high school. Do this as soon as you start to become an adult, like when you are 11. Don't think of yourself as a "kid." Kids are baby goats, and we all know what happens to them: they get SACRIFICED. Instead, you are a young adult.

The main reason this is hard is because modern industrial consumer culture is TOXIC. I actually knew what to do from a young age because my grandpa and my dad would tell me, but then I'd go out into the system and get corrupted in like five seconds. If you have kids, it's not enough to tell them these things with words. You have to show them. Take your kids somewhere and show them how bums live, what it looks like in bad neighborhoods. Tell them that's where they'll wind up if they keep fucking around, because in all likelihood, they will. Make them volunteer at a soup kitchen. Take them on a tour through the hood.

The key to this stuff is, you have to WANT to do it because you recognize it is in your best interest. If someone forces you to do it, you rebel against it. The system actually likes rebels. Rebellion is sold to the youth, but really it's fake rebellion where you pretty much paint a target sign on yourself and put yourself under control by giving yourself problems that cripple you politically and economically, making you dependent on institutions for handouts, whether its welfare for the poor, or jobs for the middle classes.

Great post, a million upvotes.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

This has been me nearly my whole life, holy hell. It makes me feel so bad to think i've missed out on the 3 years of college and 5 years of highschool that i've gone through, they were a total waste of time where i had no goals whatsoever. I guess that's why i got depressed once i tried to change for the first time.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy Link

It's totally deliberate, in my opinion. The system doesn't care about individual development. It wants obedient workers. The people who designed it reward obedience. Grading is based on obedience. You showed up for YEARS and did your homework on time, took and passed quizzes and test for years. All to prove your obedience. The slightest bit of sustained disobedience can jeopardize your track record. Hence, school becomes a competition to see who can be the most obedient. Paradoxically, this psychically damages many intelligent able individuals, because they sense something is wrong but can't quite articulate it usually, unless they are geniuses like Aaron Schwartz living in the age of the Internet where suddenly ALL ideas become available, even "forbidden" ones. The people that don't quite figure it out, will obey by day, but then rebel by night, doing drugs, drinking, and other pointless self-destructive acts. Since direct rebellion is suicide, which is demonstrated over and over again by example, where the police incarcerate people for serious disobedience, or the parents are coopted into putting the kids into a "reform" institution, people can only rebel on the sly by hurting themselves to spite the system of their most productive labor. Basically, you're whole childhood is being stolen from you so you'll be okay with having your whole adulthood being stolen by the corporations that fund the system so they have a steady supply of obedient workers. By damaging yourself, they also win, because one of the first things that gets damaged by drugs and alcohol is your ability to work productively AND autonomously. If you can't work autonomously, you'll never be able to start a business or become self-employed. You'll never be able to organize people. You won't be able to think clearly. Of course, you'll still have to live, so you'll have to get a job or become a criminal. If you become a criminal, they win, because statistically they'll catch you with their surveillance tech, incarcerate you, and then you'll work for pennies on the dollar as a slave for prison privileges doing labor for large corporations. If you get a job because working autonomously is too much work because you never learned to think for yourself because you were too busy being programmed or predictably rebelling against your programming, thus following another program, they win because they have an obedient worker they can manipulate with carrots and sticks.

The sooner you learn to think and act for yourself, the better. There are many people in the system who do this and they use the system to their advantage. Everyone else gets subordinated, enslaved, or ground up. The later you start, the harder it is because by then you've accrued more debts in terms of time, energy, and money. Also, you are older and have less adaptability.

John Taylor Gatto writes more on the subject. The purpose of school is to make your obedient, and make you resent the educational process as something oppressive so you won't self-educate. Sure, there are special fancy schools for the rich kids, but many of them are dysfunctional as well, just with more money. That's always been supremely ironic to me; the rich are basically turning their kids into white collar slaves. They make more money, but they're even more enslaved in some respects than the blue collar slaves, at least in terms of their minds and their thinking. They have to be in order to focus on the brass ring of obtaining more money.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Could not agree with this comment more.

Also, John Taylor Gatto is great.

However, don't your conclusions directly contradict what OP is preaching? OP is very pro-system (did his homework every day, joined the military, got a 'good job,' etc.)

You are spot on about the system encouraging self-destructive rebellion.

The only real way to freedom is the middle path between "system slave" and "burn out/criminal slave." You need to combine the strengths of both poles.

My 9-to-5 forces me to be (at least somewhat) productive, accountable, disciplined, and efficient. I get more done in one day at the office than I would in a week in college. I like that work forces me to wake up early and get shit done.

Take these positive attributes and mix them with what 'rebels' are good at: freethinking, individuality, etc., and you've got a potent mix.

Going too far to either pole is trouble. Stoners have lots of cool thoughts and ideas, but are too undisciplined to ever bring them to fruition. People who cling to the system often end up not really knowing themselves, and question why they have everything but are miserable, etc.

The middle path is where it's at.

In other words: if you want to be a rebel, fine, but you better not be rebelling against the idea of hard work, because you're going to need to do a lot of it if you want to overcome the system and achieve true independence.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not saying you should quit your day job. But don't work there unmindfully. Many people work a dayjob to learn the industry or to meet other financial objectives with a greater goal in mind. But most people work those jobs just to have something to do and to get paid. They just want to go home at the end of the day and watch TV or pork their wives. Also, most dayjobs are totalitarian in nature; you have to obey the hierarchy or else. That being said, freedom is not for everyone, and some people can't handle it even if they've been prepared for it. It's just often times people don't know what they're giving up or missing out on . . . . ever.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I completely agree with everything except one thing. One can't figure out if the system is deliberate or incidental. Applying Occam's razor the system has come to this by accident.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Ockham's razor is not actually a law, it's a theoretical framework, and I've heard it stated a number of different ways; "the simpliest explanation is the most likely one . . . . Okay, but who is to say what the simplest explanation is, how do you define "simple?" Is it simpler to assume a conspiracy of elites or to assume that everything is a coincidence of random collisions? Who benefits from such an assumption? Also, how does anything get done if not by "planning," aka conspiracy? One thing you can call conspiracy theory is plan theory. Also, the government has no problem denouncing foreign conspiracies and criminal conspiracies, nor do foreign governments have trouble denouncing the USA. Anyway. Another is "entities should not be multiplied needlessly." And why not? I'm assuming they were talking about angels dancing on the head of a pin back then, and not say the number of criminals engaged in a plot. It's like the Mafia saying, "Oh, come on, it was all just this one guy that did everything! We're all just businessmen! Just convict him! He confesses to everything!" And then on the wikipedia page, the "fewest amount of assumptions."

All of this stuff gets trotted out by authoritarian types to shut people up. It's a control mechanism. Who is this authority figure to say definitively what the simplest explanation is, or how many assumptions are needed.

A perfect example would be the shift from Newtonian physics to Heisenbergian physics. Newtonian is easy to relate to because it is reminiscent of what we see in the solar system; the macrocosm and the microcosm. However, Heisenbergian physics is more complicated and weird, harder to relate, requires more assumptions, many of which appear to contradict other assumptions. What does that suggest about the universe? That's its complicated and contradictory, but also often appears to follow rules. So yeah, there is an element of chaos in everything, and elite conspiracies can be overturned, as has been proven historically. But while they are in place, everything becomes somewhat predictable.

Here’s the skinny, the guys that succeed at college are the one with the biggest social circle, therefore the most access to parties and girls. Also, your perspective needs to be bigger than any one group of friends.

These are also the guys that, assuming they graduate with a good GPA in a decent major, have the easiest time leveraging connections into a job. A social circle can get you far in life, especially if it's with the right people.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That was my experience. I went to a fairly large school, as a result I have good friends with good jobs all over the country. When I finished up my active time, it was easy to get a job in the city I wanted.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

How does the whole fraternity thing work?

[–]rpking 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

PM me if you have specific questions.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The_Titleist waking up at 5 to go lift is extraordinary rare, good job.

If you wake up early and have that purpose (role model physique) to achieve when lifting then you'll be happier throughout the day, especially if you are prone to low energy and eating badly to compensate for that. If you find yourself justifying and having an uncontrollable urge to have that hamburger and fries for studying this is for you (take it from a guy who been there, best lesson you can learn- wake up early go lift with purpose)

If you are in school, find one friend that you can study with and that will watch your stuff and you can take advantage of the library and social atmosphere that can help you study, since studying alone can cause you to give up and sleep.

If I have one regret and shortcoming its that I don't ever approach people/strangers. One way that helps is to take care of your shit (your addictions). Do you have any my readers? For me it's just using the computer, if I use it too much I shut myself out, my brain is getting its fix from pixels and reddit and so forth enough to make me into a hissing hermit. For you it might be another addiction you are not aware of, either way it lowers the activation energy for the pathway to success my bro.

So now I don't bring my computer outside. If necessarily I have a small tablet to look up definitions and that limits what I can do. The result is I am more receptive to other people's talking and can give smiles as encouragements and be quiet at appropriate times (clear headed enough to know that people feel more connected to you when they talk). People will not want you to leave and you will feel wanted. Your old friends will be even more receptive to what you have to say. God I wish I am better at this.

My brother is one the chillest person I ever met and is perhaps the best approacher I ever met, I'm talking he doesn't even 'approach' he just hangs and ask questions and be friendly. His smiles are nonthreatening and receptive, sympathetic to the cue. He hates electronics so take it what you will, and he is one of the smartest person I ever met. To be honest I hope a lot he's not being taken advantage of, but his lay back way of approach is impeccable at making others friendly....

Cheers.

Good, life-affirming post with practical advice.

I don't think the Animal House and Van Wilder references were necessary, though. They can confuse younger guys, and I'll explain why.

I'm sure you had a lot of fun in college, but if you were waking up at 5 am five days a week, you weren't living the "Animal House lifestyle." (That's a good thing.)

For the younger guys, let's examine OP's weekly schedule on an hourly basis:

5-6 hours per day on school assignments = 25-30 hours of homework per week

lifting (conservative estimate of 1 hr every weekday morning) = 5 hr per week

classes (average) 12.5 hr per week

So already we're looking at a work week that is between 42.5 and 47.5 hours, not including significant fraternity and extracurricular obligations. This is more than a full-time job.

OP also insinuates that he only went out on the weekends; my point being that partying and slaying 'soristitutes' took up a very small percentage of his time. Maybe 10-12 hours out of the 247 we get in a week.

OP was successful because he spent most of his time in college working. I think the partying/Van Wilder side of college can be overstated because it's flashy and is idealized in all the movies. OP - keep balling out man, but I don't even think you wanted the Animal House lifestyle. I think you're a guy who likes to work hard and win.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

If you're lucky enough to go to college, take advantage of it. While you have amazing resources and people available, some Kenyan boy your age is scraping by on foreign aid rations, fleeing war and disease.

[–]RedPillMeditations 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Big emphasis on the club. A club/organization will almost FORCE you to interact with people. Never in my life have good quality, like-minded individuals basically just fallen into my social circle. It's like effortless almost. The fact that you know so many people from different interests pretty much ensures you have a friend of a friend anywhere.

Friends have friends, friends know girls, girls have girlfriends... Next thing I know I'm getting approached because she saw me in a pic on her friends instagram, and thinks I'm hot.

Great post, man.

My issue with frats was the gay shit they made pledges do in order to be initiated. Is it really worth doing a bunch of homosexual acts in order to get accepted? And then making guys do it to be accepted when you are an upperclassman?

Also, at my college which was very frat heavy(60%+ were greek), a lot of people stopped giving a shit about greek life after freshman year, and pretty much everyone stopped caring about it after sophomore year. It seemed like it only mattered to underclassmen.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 4 points5 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

I never did/was asked to to anything homosexual while pledging. Frankly, if that does happen, that's probably not an organization you'd want to be a part of anyway. My experience was great and totally worth it. Just fucking go for it if you want it. Or don't, you don't need greek life to have fun.

[–]TheDonald2k16 -1 points0 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

At my school one of the frats made the pledges do the elephant walk down the main street that goes by our university at midnight. I would never do that. I guess all frats are different.

I played football so I wasn't allowed to join a frat but if you don't join a frat or play a sport you have to have some kind of social circle. Period. Make it your top priority.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 0 points1 point  (8 children) | Copy Link

one of the frats made the pledges do the elephant walk down the main street that goes by our university at midnight

To be fair that's just stupid and embarrassing, not gay.

if you don't join a frat or play a sport you have to have some kind of social circle. Period. Make it your top priority.

Hit the nail on the head right there

[–]Fuck_shadow_bans 2 points3 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

It's pretty gay to have to walk down the street holding the dick of some other dude in your hand.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Ha, I had something different in my mind when I thought elephant walk

[–]Fuck_shadow_bans 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

it's basically a chain of dudes giving each other rusty trombones similar to how baby elephants will hold their mother's tail when they walk behind her.

[–]Axoc 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

It's pretty gay to have to walk down the street holding the dick of some other dude in your hand.

That's not all of it.

You form a line. You grab the dick of the dude behind you. You stick your thumb in the ass of the dude in front of you. The line then comes together at the tips to form a circle. Now you've got a thumb-in-ass, cock-in-hand Human Centipede.

Now, without breaking the circle or losing grip, you have to move from one end of the street to the other. If you let go of the dick or your thumb slips out, you're out.

The real question is...If somebody is down to do this just for friends, are they a promiscuous gay or just an extremely thirsty beta with zero social life? Giving in to this kind of hazing means you're one of the two.

[–]Fuck_shadow_bans 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, not all fraternities do shit like this. The one my friend was in made him drink microwave Mad Dog until he puked. That was literally the only hazing he went through.

[–]Axoc 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah don't get me wrong. I'm a founding member of a low-key one and our "hazing" consists of being WGW on Taaka vodka. Other than that, it's just the usual "come to events, be friends with everybody that's in" - the stuff that is required for membership that doesn't make the news headlines.

The gay shit makes headlines because it's unusual. If it wasn't unusual, it wouldn't be such a big deal.

[–]rpking -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That kind of stuff isn't that common anymore, only happened on a large scale in the 80's. Physical and mental hazing is a very valuable experience and doesn't have to involve gay shit. Fraternities that don't haze, at least at my school, are loaded with pussies. Additionally, fraternity life is one of the last refuges of masculinity on college campuses (excluding athletics), making it super valuable.

[–]TheDonald2k16 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

And when I say social circle I just don't mean 2 or 3 guys you meet up with to play video games.

I am talking about a social circle of hundreds. The pyramid effect. Meet 3 people, who know 3 people that you meet, who all know 3 people that you meet, it grows exponentially.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (8 children) | Copy Link

This is pretty good advice. However, in the UK it is applied differently. There are no frat parties, but house parties are a sure thing. The more people you know the more parties you can go to. You become the 'Van wilder' character.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 4 points5 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

So what you're saying is to apply my advice?

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

Certainly, just change it to a more british style and you are golden

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy Link

You and I should talk about that to develop something for University goers

[–]Senderious 5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

In most European countries 'college life' is different. The major difference is that (in my country) there is no campus where everybody lives. Most people live at home with their parents so getting laid is a bit harder. Honestly I can't imagine that social semi-popular guys can't get laid on a college campus especially since most American girls are sluts: I mean everything is there to get some fucks. Be ause of this I would love to experience college life in America.

But in essence your advice is applicable to student life in every country: take care of yourself: study, lift and get involved in as much social stuff as you can.

In most European countries 'college life' is different. The major difference is that (in my country) there is no campus where everybody lives. Most people live at home with their parents so getting laid is a bit harder.

Same in Australia. A way around it though, if you live in a city where you can do this, is rent a house with mates, or even buy a house in the cheaper part of town, sharing the cost between your friends that want to live there. I know a few people that have done this, and it's an option.

Well, I am by no means a fully developed masculine male, but I could give some insight in the life of a European student.

Perhaps ask others as well. They might have a different view on University...

I was blue pilled when I was in Uni and I still got pussy

it's not hard

You are right about not staying in your room and playing video games. What a fucking WASTE that would be. Get out and FUCK. PARTY. And FUCK. What guys don't understand about college is -- it's the best pussy time of your life -- unless you are lucky enough to go to LA right after college and immediately become a tv, pop or movie star (and the chances of that are ZIP. Even the guys who do that usually started at age eight -- NOBODY (or rather 0.00001 percent) get fame that way. So college is eudamonia for pussy. I swear to you, you will never again have the quality and quantity of great sex you have in college. So this bro is right about staying out of your room, but he's wrong about worrying so much about grades. FUCK grades. I went to two different colleges (because I loved college so much) for a total of 8 fucking years, just so I could PARTY and FUCK. That's what you want to do at college - PARTY and FUCK. Unless you're a poor kid who abslutely needs high grades to get a scholarship at a grind grad school (like engineering or something) then yeah, I guess you need to worry about grades a little bit, but keep it minimum. Believe me, grades don't mean SHIT in the real world. But that pussy you slayed that night, the chick who was slavering for your johnson both fore and aft? My man, you will remember her FOREVER.

[–]Seishuu 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

i just love the tone of this. this guy likes to party and fuck, confirmed. then again, don't we all

[–]rpscrote 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Letting your GPA fall is stupid, sorry. You can't unring that bell if you ever decide to go to grad school (increasingly likely in todays age). I got 2/3 of my law school paid for by academic scholarships because I had a high GPA. Walked out w/ 30k debt for a 100k degree

[–]macksdowntownsong -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I swear to you, you will never again have the quality and quantity of great sex you have in college.

You must not have amounted to much in life. Max out your SMV in the real world and you will be pulling way higher quality.

[–]sacbite 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Good point. I guess what I should have said is -- it was the best hot and cold running pussy I've had so far. I'm working hard to peak like that again. Thanks for the good point!

I have basically followed this to the tee and I have to say it is working out incredibly well.

[–]smartengineer93 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

you should be in at least 1 club (fraternities don’t count) and something off campus as well

This^ My social circle tripled when I joined a club. Got kicked out of the first one for not being beta in a martial arts club (like, how does that happen?) Was miserable for a year until I found my current one and my social circle tripled again. For those of you who don't do math, I now know 9x as many folks on campus compared to first year.

Build connections. They get you jobs, girls, and social proof.

[–]MrRexels 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Boy, such a good post. I find myself stuck in the Talking to everyone part though. After 2 years in college I've only managed a small circle of people I hang out with, and feel like I already dug myself a reputation for not being the sociable type.

What else can you tell about first part, studying

The military is a job, like any other. There are pros and cons to it, and it's up to each person to evaluate based upon their own skills, temperament and goals if they feel a stint or even career in the military is what they want or should do.

Besides, I would love to see your reasoning on why Tim Kennedy or Arnold Schwarzenegger are betas.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

The military is a job, like any other.

Sucks that is what it has come down to. No wonder our fighting forces are shit. Most everyone does it for the free ride, not out of obligation to one's country.

[–]CoriolanusRevisited 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

No wonder our fighting forces are shit.

Any stats on that, chief? That's a pretty big assumption to just throw out there with no actual evidence.

http://www.economist.com/news/united-states/21676778-failures-iraq-and-afghanistan-have-widened-gulf-between-most-americans-and-armed

Lot a good info in there about the sad state of U.S. recruits. It's not only about quantity; its about quality.

[–]CoriolanusRevisited 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Interesting article, well worth the read. However, the problem with their assessment is that they don't consider that the vast majority of servicemen and women have little to no influence on the front lines. Basically, so long as we have high quality infantry, combat arms, and special operations units we have a high quality military. The average quality of a supply clerk in the Army means very little in the grand scheme of things, so long as our infantry can hump for days and put rounds on target.

I was trying to be polite and give you the benefit of the doubt, but are you a fucking idiot? Millions of non-military people risk their lives every day as part of their job, and in terms of deaths per capita there are vastly more dangerous jobs than "the military" (which is almost a useless term for describing danger, as the vast majority of positions in the military even in a time of war will never even come close to seeing a lick of combat or danger).

No. I'm forces too. Every girl has guys offering her the world but with me they know I'll drop everything for my country before them; it becomes their target to be more important to me and I don't have to do a thing.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

How exactly is pushing your body to it's physical limit in boot camp, having many women hear about your job and instantly get a mini-tingle, all the while forming strong male bonds with your military buddies beta? I'm getting my lungs tested soon because I've had asthma since I was a baby. If I pass the test (It's possible, I used to run cross country, granted always close to last place) I'm seriously considering joining.

[–]nicechallenge 1 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

You are risking your life for patriotism(a ridiculous idea form political elites to manipulate people) to get a paycheck. It's literally dying for someone else in this case the government, is that alpha to you or maybe the most extreme example of a brainwashed beta?

[–]CoriolanusRevisited 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

You are risking your life for patriotism

That's not why I joined, and I would never recommend anyone join for that reason. It's also not the reason I heard given by my Marine infantry friends for why they joined.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Who says I'm out on the battlefield? I would join Intel.

[–]nicechallenge 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

If does not removes the fact that military is inherently evil. Think about it it's an institution that trains people to be murderers.

That stuff doesn't work in the U.K. Another reason why I'd love to study in the States but no way I get a loan for those tuition fees.

[–]Endorsed ContributorThe_Titleist[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I mentioned this in another comment. If you want you can contact me and we can develop something specific towards the University system in the UK

[–]Luis_McLovin 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'd be interested in a UK centric post. University life is VASTLY different to american. It's not like in the movies, there are no frat/sorority societies throwing large parties every other weekend. It's mostly like social life outside of university in America (meet people through organisations, hobbies, your course, no big party houses where 100s of college age kids gather. The only next closest thing is a nightclub, but even that is nowhere even remotely close).

[–]ACE-JHN -2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for this man. I'm a sophomore at a community college doing computer science. After swallowing the pill 2 months ago, things changed drastically for me its like this fitness (foundation) > studying atleast 4-5 hrs a day > talking to people i see. Similar to your journey but not as epic cause i'm not in a frat.

[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Fuck all that, I go to college to get my degree , not to get gross sorority pussy or make irrelevant friendships that I have to pay for(fraternities)

[–]Luis_McLovin 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

do both. negative attitude doesnt get anyone far. no reason why you cant get good grades, lift, and fuck quality pussy (which is really what you should be doing ALL THROUGH YOUR LIFE anyway, just work at a well paying job which you're rising through, always lifting, and always meeting new people, some of which will be chicks who want to ride your dick. You're forfeiting part of the game if you only focus on one aspect and ignoring the others and the contributions they make to your life and happiness).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
