Older woman who has settled for a beta asks every guy, "hey I married a beta, why are you all having such a problem with attraction? Y'all know how easy it was?"

This is a prime example of female solipsism, she realizes not why her experience in selecting a mate is different from men's being selected, she realizes not that her age puts her outside the normal range of potential mates, effectively limiting her choice to betas-- she instead rationalizes that this was her more refined, mature choice.

She even admits alpha widow:

After him I dated a guy purely based on spite for my ex and raw physical attraction. He was a blue eyed ginger. (my favorite) He was 6’ 2”, was 240 lb of raw sinew and muscle, zero fat. He had like 20” + biceps and could bench press more than I thought possible. He was also dumb as a box of rocks, vain and had a personality that resembles a dial tone. His appeal wore off quickly, very quickly.

Translation: He wouldn't settle so I will make it seem like I wasn't interested anyway.

That post is brilliant I can hardly believe I read this in AskMen of all places.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet20 points21 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

I'm sure I've seen that guy in here at some point.

Still, it makes me wanna shed a red tear of pride.

Interestingly when you don't use redpill terms like wall or beta etc, it hardly gets any fire/downvotes.

Men in askmen often shoot women down for tone policing but they don't realise they're doing it themselves. It just shows how close minded and feminised you could get. I could've saved shitload of time if I had just used terms we use here to write that message.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet37 points38 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

As a matter of fact, I've been running similar experiments of my own; seeing how the presence of RP terminology affects the reception of a comment. Unsurprisingly, I'm noticing the same trend. AskMen wants to remain a "female safe-space" so girls will keep coming around.

I swear, it plays out exactly like a shit test.

AskMen is filled predominantly with Blue Pill supplicators. With each new post, AskMen dutifully makes the girl feel comfortable, welcome, and protected from "the jerks".

But every so often, a woman comes along and asks for too much supplication, too much sympathy. Then AskMen gets fed up, lashes-out, and the women ask why AskMen is being so mean.

You can literally see the macroscopic shit test. It's fucking hilarious.

[–]Kronouranos10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Damn. That makes too much sense.

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's my favorite part about the red pill. All of the know-it-all feminists think "I would never date one of those douche bags" but in reality, if you're doing it right, the women doesn't see someone trying to "game" them with rp theory, the just see a guy they're really attracted to.

I could've saved shitload of time if I had just used terms we use here to write that message.

Tl;dr: Alpha fucks, beta bux

Askmen is filled with blue pills though, and they need it spelled out for them in detail. Good post though.

@Tone policing: RPW have disabled downvotes. Isn't that a form of tone policing?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

It was because of trolls.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

You mean vote brigades?

wow. eviscerated. i believe she exploded her account after reading that.

[–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Actually, a guy who later identified her in another thread asked her if she learned anything from her bomb of a thread. She responded with likes of:

"I need to learn how to develop deeper relationships. Nothing fast and sexual. I'm going to focus on making friends for now yada yada"

Sounds like the perfect way..."To Catch a Betator"

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't get it. Maybe it's because I'm on my phone, but it looks like the OP responded to that particular comment as if she wasn't the OP, meaning it's an elaborate troll, right?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Who knows these days.

There was a super long elaborate story posted on /r/relationships the other day I glanced at, and the top comment was the OP responding to her own post as a different person but forgot to log out and in under the new username.

A lot of stories on this site are fake, so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt.

[–]delta_hedge22 points23 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

this is a pretty TRP comment. It's even voted up. Must be TRP invaded. Or wait.. is this what the average guy agrees with?

No, cant be. So TRP must have invaded that thread by going back 17h in time, then having posted and upvoted that comment.

Don't forget that No reply links are a scam, and that it's impossible for users to be subscribed to both subs, or that some of us (me) found TRP on the advice of an AskMen user

Straight out of the red pill handbook.

Its posts like these that make me wonder at what point will this all be shut down for being the dangerous good example. He speaks the truth like he is guessing cards on a so repeatedly presented tell its just droll to him.

She takes credit for his success: "Today, 7 years after we met, with some feminine encouragement, he saw something in himself, expected more and makes over 3 times his original salary."

AWALT: "Just the other day I asked a clerk a question about something. He was below average height and easily 50 to 100 lbs. overweight. Within 5 minutes of talking to him I could have turned into a stalker if I weren’t married already. This guy had such a brightness behind his eyes, was passionate when he spoke and just had an indescribable charisma. " - She got wet for another man in 5 mins. If she weren't old and ugly he might have hit on her.

I know how to get 'em! Let me brag about how I once snagged a muscle-bound alpha because I'm sooooo hot. I am so capable of raw sex!...Oh, but what if they ask the obvious question why we broke up? Umm, well...it was because I rejected HIM first! Yeah!...that's it! My current husband is much better...so attentive...and caring!...

(Now goes into bathroom with her dildo to masturbate and fantasize about Mr. box of rocks)

I still can't believe how red-pill minded askmen is becoming.

But i wonder, is because Red-Pill users are flowing there, or the other way around, I hope is the later.

Granted a few years ago, I would have read that and felt like it was actually good advice and encouragement. Now after each line I was just baffled with how much full of shit that post was. /r/TheRedPill indeed.

Original Text:

This is more of a PSA than an actual question. I see so many posts here and elsewhere from men who beat themselves up because they think they have some flaw like being short or having a small penis that makes them unattractive to the other sex.

It makes me sad that so many wonderful guys beat themselves up like that. I am attached, not looking just to make that clear. I also want to share some rules of attraction from an average woman who isn’t completely crazy ; ) and isn’t shallow or a gold digger.

The first guy I kissed was 5’ 4” and I was 5’ 7” at the time. He was quite a ladies man too. It was high school so can’t give you any pointers about that. I was naïve and had that intense crush thing going on. I never even once thought about his height until much later in life.

My ex had a small penis. It was probably 4 ½ “ fully erect. When flaccid it would actually curl up and withdraw to the point of looking like a nubbin of skin wrinkle. I never cared. He is an ex because he treated me like garbage and I finally grew up enough to realize I deserved better. I never once cared about his penis. My ex was also pretty unattractive and below my “league”. I never knew until much later.

Down the road I found a new job. At first glance my boss was meh… He was also married so that would have killed any cute factor anyway. He was probably 5’5” and very balding. We became good friends (nothing happened, ever) and eventually once I got to know him he became incredibly sexy. He was bright, had that dark distant tortured soul thing going on and was well traveled. I’m almost 40 and have to say that he is still in the top 10 of the sexiest men I have ever known. It must have been his level of intensity.

My current husband is the poster child for the nerdy type that gets overlooked by women. When I first saw him I thought…ewww. He isn’t very tall, has noticeably large ears, a receding hairline, imperfect teeth, was wearing the dorkiest glasses possible and was painfully shy. Today when I look at him I see an incredibly handsome man, I mean that sincerely. I still steal glances at him and have dirty thoughts. Somewhere between first glance and today I got to know him. He is the single most intelligent person I have ever met, freakishly brilliant. The sexiest thing about him is that he challenges me and keeps me engaged. He also has hundreds of other wonderful qualities. I couldn’t ask for more. I am genuinely happy and proud to be with him and seen in public with him.

My husband was also dirt poor when I met him. He had a hard work ethic and a dream. Today, 7 years after we met, with some feminine encouragement, he saw something in himself, expected more and makes over 3 times his original salary.

Just the other day I asked a clerk at a major book retailer a question about something. He was below average height and easily 50 to 100 lbs. overweight. The kind of guy that not only doesn’t get a second glance but much worse, the kind that is invisible IYKWIM. Within 5 minutes of talking to him I could have turned into a stalker if I weren’t married already. This guy had such a brightness behind his eyes, was passionate when he spoke and just had an indescribable charisma. There are a lot of incredibly attractive corn fed farmboys where I live. They all have perfect teeth, hair and chiseled faces with thick muscular 6’ 4” frames. In spite of herds of eye candy week in and week out this short obese guy is one of the sexiest men I have encountered in years.

Moral of the story, don’t judge your own book by the cover. The RIGHT kind of woman will be attracted to you. Any bitch that judges you on a first impression is doing you a favor by removing herself from your life.

Every man on here has something wonderful about him even if he doesn’t see it.

What an awesome thread. Girl just gets reamed after the TRP comment.

[–]chiminage0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

well he could have been a fucking moron and a complete bore. that would be a good reason to stop seeing him?

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

'Solipsism' is being used in the same way as 'privilege' here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
