I think they're calling him a rapist because of all the sexual assault accusations he's had leveled against him. They never went anywhere though, but the sheer quantity of accusers is a bit unsettling for a man leading a nation. If we would quit choosing fucking dinosaurs maybe we'd quit finding creepy shit that went on in their 130 year past. Of course candidates who grew up before anyone but them had rights will act like they are the only ones with any rights. It should be common sense, but people keep voting for "political experience" (or just experience in general, as long as it can be made to seem even slightly relevant to office).

Sheer numbers means nothing in Trump's case, the man is hated, despised so much by a lot of people where it's very believable that most if not all of the accusations have one speck of truth. We have to remember innocent until proven guilty; there's been no proof of him being a "rapist". And for the record, I'm an independent who leans right and I'm a sometimes Trump guy. He's made mistakes but he's not a rapist just because a couple of insane TDS liberals say so with no proof

He's made a lot of mistakes, very publicly, and during a time of international crisis. He was impeached by the house, something Bush and Cheney went 8 years without doing, but not removed due to a Republican Senate. There is a reason he is so well despised, as you mention, and it's not because of some conspiracy. It's because he acts immature as the POTUS, and is constantly on the news for something abhorrently stupid. Oftentimes that incredibly stupid thing was done on purpose just to actually stay on the news (and away from much grimmer news), as is happening now. His handling of this epidemic now is exactly what everybody was worried about in 2016 with the "hand on the red button" metaphor. When shit hits the fan, no matter how good a businessman he may or may not have been, he has consistently proven himself to be a poor leader of the masses and at his worst even a vile instigator, especially on the political landscape.

Buddy that was the hardest change of subject I've ever seen. I was talking about people calling him a rapist and you are talking about the coronavirus pandemic. Normally a good way to tell someone with TDS is when they constantly switch the subject to a different thing he did...

And for the record, I can 1) think he's not a rapist 2) think he's not handling this crisis perfectly and 3) not blame the entire crisis on Trump when most of the blame is on the Chinese government. People who think "Trump always bad" or "Trump always good" are idiots.

It's entirely relevant when you are talking about a sheer number of accusations not having a speck of truth because he is "hated". There is a reason he is hated, as I stated above, and it's because he is constantly in the news for crap that the POTUS should not be on the news for. This point was made very clear but I appreciate the character assassination attempt nonetheless. The reason he is purported to be a rapist is also very clear, not just from my comments and the many accusations leveled against him, but his own actions caught on tape. Whether we want to admit it or not, grabbing a woman "by the pussy" is sexual assault, and if a highschool jock did the same thing in the hallway between classes he would be going to jail in modern times. But the President of the United States we let slide because it was "locker room talk" and "not something he actually does". It's also disgusting and rapey and aligns very strongly with his accusers comments regarding Trump's actions against women in the past.

And for the record, people who think "Trump always bad" are not as idiotic as you might think when they see a national leader playing childish games on a daily basis with those he is meant to serve, with the media, other members of government, the intelligence community, and the rest of the world really. He has been caught twice potentially seeking foreign assistance for elections, and whether it's proven or not it's still something other candidates don't get themselves wrapped up in no matter how hated they are, because they aren't so fucking stupid.

Don't get me wrong, Biden is no better. I am hardly a liberal in the economic sense, but I am entirely disillusioned with American politics and in my best judgement the entire country should boycott the vote and make them twiddle their thumbs and stand on stage with dicks in their hands when it comes time to announce a leader. Just think about it, our two options for President are 73 and 77 years old. They are both older than my parents, and almost older than my Grandparents too. My parents, much younger, are already to a point in their lives where their opinions have become much more narrow, they are much more resistant to change, and they are too focused on their own health issues and other changing dynamics at present that there is no way they could lead a city, let alone an entire nation. But these are our options, and our "best hope" this election was a 78 year old white male who was slightly different because he gives the appearance of actually giving a shit about little people. I'm done, I don't know that I even care enough to debate this bullshit on Reddit anymore. Both sides have been fucked for 30 years and we just keep pretending one is better than the other when neither give a shit about our best interests on the best of days.

He talked about "letting him do it to them" which is not rape. He didn't ever say "I just went up and did it without consent". There's a difference. Plus there's no way to tell if he ever even was in a scenario like that or if he was joking. So no, that's not evidence he's a rapist, nice try. And no, it's not relevant, you're really trying to not admit you completely shifted. "Sheer numbers" with no proof is not enough to convict someone of rape, no matter how hated they are and no matter what reason they're hated. Even if he deserves to be hated, those people who hate him can still lie about it only for the fact they hate him. That argument made no sense. And I agree with a lot of the other stuff you said. Shame how civil discourse has gotten

Funny, I don't remember ever making the claim that Trump was a convicted rapist. I do remember making the claim he is unfit to be President, but by your logic there is no evidence against Biden also, seeing as all they have is accusers who could be making their claims because they hate him. Doesn't matter why they hate him, apparently. I do like though how you argued against a claim I never made, got upset that I wasn't trying to prove a claim I never made like I was the one who made it, wonder out loud why people aren't trying to convince you of the somewhat obvious, and then talk about an argument making no sense. I tried to be polite and actually converse with you about why people think the way they do about this man, but you're sort of a dick. Shame how civil discourse has gotten.

Donald Trump has done nothing to warrant this type of good will in association with his name. If you can find one instance of his use of the word business "person" rather than business "man" I will concede, however "business ass" may be a more apt description. That way we can ensure the biases inherent in asshole statements, and avoid labeling statements an "accident" in general contexts. Ask my mailman, he agrees.

Not that that is necessarily accusatory, but in the breakdown interview / commentary they did on prince Andrew, witnesses claimed that you couldn't hang around Jeffrey and not know what was going on. Apparently the girls were everywhere, not only on his island or on the Lolita Express, but also in his private jets that Trump has been in

Most importantly: a source on that (that hasn't come from Trump's own mouth preferably because we know for a fact now that he twists and lies about pretty much anything, but a source would be nice at least).

Secondly, if he was associated with Epstein enough to have actually witnessed something, he most definitely knew what was going on like most other million/billionaires did at the time. Epstein didn't exactly do much to hide it because he profited from other rich people paying for his "services", he used money, favours and blackmail to keep people silent.

So that means trump witnessed something really bad and he didn't expose Epstein at all. And that means he was silenced by accepting money, favours or blackmail. If it was money and favours, then that's disgusting and morally wrong.

If it was blackmail, he would have more than enough money and support to go through the right channels to get himself out, or even report Epstein to the right authorities. But he didn't. So what could Epstein have on trump that would be so bad that trump would shut his mouth about a massive peadophile ring and sex trafficking trade? Maybe trump did something equally bad? Maybe he partook? Who knows.

The last option is that he didn't really care. At least not enough to, again, do anything about it. And that's pretty disgusting in and of itself.

I might add that I guess you didn't properly read the link I posted, because it states that after Epstein's address book was leaked in 2009, he had 14 phone numbers related to Trump and his staff. Why would he still have trump as an associate if trump had disowned him?

Thank you for following up! I did look it up myself, but I have to say there are many conflicting results. I couldn't find a single article before 2019 that reported on Trump disowning Epstein over him hitting on a minor. He seems to have only brought it up when it was relevant due to the Epstein arrest.

However, I found several sources stating their fallout was in 2004 and it was over a mansion money dispute instead. They were literally neighbors in Florida, and it's confirmed that Epstein recruited girls from that mansion.

There's also this quote from the same article, (and many others I found):

In 2002, Mr Trump told New York magazine of Mr Epstein: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with.

“It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it – Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

So trump knew about the younger girls. No doubt about it. That means he had seen things way before 2004, because they had been close friends for close to two decades. As the interview of prince Andrew stated, you couldn't be around Epstein and not know what was going on.

Younger is a relative term. He could have been talking about someone in their early 20’s. Trump has been known to date Playmates.

Taking a quote from when they were friends proves nothing. I worked within a guy who stalked Avril Lavigne. Actually went to Canada to visit her house. Twice. Was arrested at my work place by FBI. He was the greatest guy and we always had lunch with coworkers. He had a wife and kids. No one knew. So say that everyone who knew Epstein knew what he was into is a stretch. That’s like saying Everyone who knew Jared of Subway knew he was a pedo. They don’t let everyone in on it.

I will again refer to the video of prince Andrew's interview. A lot of the "I didn't know" statements are harshly challenged based on what the girls who came forward and whistleblowers said. But Trump didn't say that he didn't know. He literally saw Epstein hit on a minor if your source is correct. And again, millionaires and billionaires of all kinds interacted with Epstein's services. PM's, politicians, former presidents... Literally dozens of people knew. It wasn't like no one did.

And young being a "relative term" loses a lot of relativity considering we know exactly what kind of girls Epstein surrounded himself with.

First off, if Trump was a rapist, he wouldn't've be eligible to become president. I personally am not a fan of republicans, but I had recently experienced the dark side of democrats, so I'm politically flexible and neutral. Trump may be a terrible person in general, but he is a capable leader. Under his presidency, the economy flourished and he also kept his words. In other words, he was not a liar. The reason I don't like Biden or Sanders is because they will try to keep a good relationship with China.
