Yea only women get scared alone at night, men don’t have anything bad ever happen to them right?

[–]Philletto[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Men get attacked more often, but its the women who are most afraid of walking alone.

I wonder if she's walking alone at night in Tijuana, Caracas, Cape Town, Mexico City, Baltimore, Detroit, or any other non-safe zone city.

Seems like a middle finger to how safe toxic masculinity has made her nightly routine.

Imagine thinking that a possible rapist cares about if you maybe might have a disease.

"I wasn't raped but there are 5 guys who would be struggling to breathe right now"

Feminism = men suffering apparently

[–]MingSushi8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I don’t understand why feminists are so obsessed with being a threat or being an overwhelming, unpleasant force in the room 🤷‍♀️

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I would argue this is the worst time to walk around alone at night because there's a lower chance you can call out for help and someone will be around.

One of the things about being a guy that sucks is you are perceived to be a threat even though you aren't one.

Now I am waiting for the government to come for your ass

Guess which gender gets attacked by gangs more often, men! Because can’t hit women, gentlemen’s rule

[–]LickWits1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

To be fair, I saw this tweet more as a joke than anything else. And I can actually appreciate it as one.

I guess I could be wrong though :/

So many likes and retweets. Today's feminists are so fucking brainwashed, I used to think feminists were playing the victim to mantain their superiority over men, but now I think many of them actually believe their gender is under oppression and if anyone disagrees they are the "oppressors" and of course no one likes those people ... How can we raise our voice of inflicted rights and inequality when all they will see is an oppressor trying to rape them

How can we raise our voice of inflicted rights and inequality when all they will see is an oppressor trying to rape them

That's their intention. You can't get a word in while they are sceaming its all rape, rape, rape.

[–]Lickiecat-1 points0 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

Because you are in opposite land.

If someone came here, who considered themselves a feminist (brainwashed, deluded, make up a reason) And they actually happened to be a good person who wanted nothing more than equality and to live and let live etc, and made a comment on one of our more extravagant memes, They would also be downvoted to oblivion regardless of their good intentions, because of the community, and the perspective of said post.

This is how reddit works. It is a circlejerk. If you don't want to be downvoted, comment on a sub which agrees with you personally, because for the most part you are never going to convince r/christians to agree with anything someone from r/atheists posts on their sub and vice versa.

[–]VestigialHead1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Although you are correct it is also critically important that people put in the effort to question people in circle jerk subs. Otherwise they think they are absolutely justified in their views. If no-one is ever opposing your view you have little reason to examine it or justify it.

So people please continue to go to opposing subs and question things. Just do it civilly or you are giving them good reason to hate you. If you use facts and reason they will get upset but because you are damaging their world view not because you are hating.

[–]Lickiecat0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah. Some subs are beyond salvation though. If you post anything disagreeing with anybody someone says on r/twoxchromosomes for example, you will likely be flat out banned, for nothing more than a difference in opinion/connection to reality.

[–]Lickiecat0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Also point proven by the controversy of the original post. People don't like getting their views/illusions challenged or questioned.

[–]Philletto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Sometimes risky replies work, it seems kinda random whether they work or not. Its funny that I get downvoted for a rad fem demonstrating my point about them.

[–]Deathbysugar20200 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

This. I thought that no one other than the people in r/circlejerk saw through the nature of all of Reddit. Initially I thought that Reddit was the perfect social media. I was wrong.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
