There's no double standards here:

- domestic violence is *always* presented as a gendered issue, due to toxic masculinity, directly associated with misogyny, where women are the only victims. Stating that men are 40% of DV victims is a way to remind people that DV is not a gendered issue

- even though homeless people are mostly men, this is not often something people remember. Therefore, saying that 1/4 is a woman is adding insult to injury, because it points out both the fact that nobody cares about homeless being mostly men.

Both examples show how gynocentric our world is, i.e. people only give a damn if it's about women.
