You cant blame social anxiety as patriarchy. Men also wont complain if their food order is wrong. If you talk to people as a civilized human nobody is gonna judge you for that, however, if you are going to start blaming this on men and the so called “patriarchy” youre just blaming something else on something that has literally nothing to do with it. Youre assuming that it is going to make you look like a bitch, but you guys are all against assuming, right? I mean dont you guys attack men for assuming your gender, but hey im a cis white privileged thin male what do i know.

Edit: also to the mods, please dont ban this person, i genuinely want this person to not get banned from sharing her/his/ its opinion on this subreddit because that is just going to show how we are “controlling” over women and other genders and minorities, unlike the mods from r/feminists where i got banned for simply asking what rights do women not have that men do.

I didn't mean it like that I was trying to point out how stupid that person was being, I can see how it looks like that. Thanks for being really nice. I hate femisists myself and I agree men and women r equal and have all the same rights.

Hey dude its totally fine to have different opinions and views on things. I dont hate feminists themselves but hate what they stand for and their logic.

Same here, I think some of them r trying to do something good but most I no r radical and just want attention.

You gotta love that patriarchy ( whatever it is).

[–]HumanTrashMaggot12[S] 8 points9 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

It's a world where man have all the power and it's a thing femisist throw around when ever they don't have enough attention.

[–]Scabby_dog743 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah I know. I added the whatever it is because of the fact that they throw this bollocks around like it's some giant male conspiracy when as we all know it isn't. Me and the fellas will have to discuss it at our next patriarchy meeting.

Meeting is at St. Matthews on 4th at 7pm this week right?

Unfortunately there does exist a real patriarchy. It's not in the west but in the ME where women are treated like cattle but feminists won't criticize those places.

it's when men are in control of their own lives and wallets

[–]Z4DE-4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Typically I find that men are less likely to complain about wrong orders and the female in their lives take charge and complain on their behalf.

I see the same mentality in "women in STEM" activism. They claim that women are not encouraged to be in STEM. The only question that should be asked is "Do you want to go into STEM?" and the answer to that tells you what you should do, regardless of gender. There's this documentary where they show that when colleges made their intro programming class easier it attracted more women into it. How is that a good thing? Should we make things easier just to get women into it? I mean even the military now has different standards for men and women which is extremely dangerous cause when you're trying to tourniquet a bullet wound in the middle of a desert it doesn't matter what gender you are but fitness and training does.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
