Online harassment is a very real thing. Doxing, swatting, and a myriad of other genuinely dangerous things can be facilitated through the internet. That said, mean comments are just mean comments, and they are dealt to anyone with even a modicum of relevance in pop culture. So why is online harassment presented as a primarily female problem despite evidence that shows it happens to everyone more or less equally? I don’t know, but I like Fleetwood Mac. And you do too.
