Mary Winkler chose The Oprah Winfrey Show as the venue for her first interview ever because she has a message to share with the public about abuse, her attorney said Thursday.Oprah will air a one-on-one interview Wednesday with Winkler, 33, who was convicted in April in the shotgun slaying of her minister husband.
Winkler will talk about abuse within her marriage, reveal details from the day her husband died and share why she's decided to speak out now, a news release on Oprah's Web site said.

She'll break down in tears on Oprah, and millions of women watching will empathize with her...in the minds of the Oprah-watcing masses, this poor woman merely did what any of them would do to that evil, bad man she was married to.
