Aloha kakou! While striving to perpetuate the reason for the season, I wish to share some of Hawaii's finest Na Mele for our Lord and Savior, Iesu Christo.

First up, we got former Wayne's World bad girl Tia Carrere paying tribute to her island roots, singing three verses of Silent Night, all in 'Olelo Hawaii:

Here's Amy Hanaiali'i singing the "Hapa" version - in both English and Hawaiian over at Honolulu City Hall back in 2008:

Next up, Kiho'alu virtuoso, Keola Beamer, with a Slack Key Guitar instrumental version of Do You Hear What I Hear?:

Here's the two Willies - Uncle Willie K and Willie Nelson, doing a version of Away in the Manger:

The Brother's Cazimero - Hawaiian music's most legendary duo, give their trademark jazz medley treatment to two Christ Mass classics:

Here's an 'Ukulele feature, Hawaiian-contemporary styled rendition of Carol of the Bells:

This is a Hawaiian song not to widely known, but the lyrics in 'Olelo Hawaii are definitely apropos to the reason for the Season:

"Mele Kalikimaka Ia Kakou, I nei 'ia hau'oli la hanau o ka haku, keiki hiwahiwa ke akua!"

Roughly translated: Merry Christmas to all, on this happy birth day of our Lord, the Son of God.

Here's a unique version of the Little Drummer Boy, performed by Noelani and the Leo Nahenahe Singers with traditional Hula percussion implements and sung in 'Olelo Hawaii:

Another one from Amy Hanai'ali'i, Hamau E Na Kanaka:

And for our grand finale, this one is undoubtedly Hawaii's favorite Christmas rendition of all time - O Holy Night by Uncle Willie K. Now my favorite version of Uncle playing this song is one I've already posted here in Christmas past. When you're done here, go check it out again. World class. I've seen Uncle Willie perform many, many times over the years. The man can legit sing Opera status, and he can shred guitar with the best of em.

This version I post here and now is special, cause it's just Uncle doing it live, one take, with no accompaniment, just Uncle Willie K and his Guitar....enjoy!

To all 30 or so people that still bother to read my blather here....Mele Kalikimaka Me Ke Hau'oli Makahiki Hou my friends! God bless!
