My Money Is On Meaningless Self-Destruction

Sadly, I wonder if we are doomed, as the history of our species has been turbulent to say the least. We seem to be entering a period in which power is increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few. It does not seem they hold the interests of the many with much regard.

Terminator-style military machinery is in the pipeline. It will make the invention of gunpowder look like a sneeze.
