My history with Maths has never been great, I'm not a STEM student, I've always been at first an ICT guy and later on in my teenagehood I grew a passion for Politics (which gets you jack in the real world the way I see it, not unless you're an important person or came from an important family to begin with).

Therefore, as a 17 year old, I'm limited to very average Unis, I'm doing A-Levels (British students usually take 3 A-Levels, this is what Unis use to determine if they want you in), I'm doing History, Politics and English. Now, I like Economics because to me, it's like modern day History except I actually learn something useful rather than the past- nobody cares about the past, "yeah yeah Hitler's bad, this and that" most people don't care about the fine print in History, they want the NOW, I want to learn something practical that you can use in daily life, I have no interest in museums or being a historian, I can get into Politics easily with an Economics degree.

So I either have these options.

  1. Go do an Economics Bsc degree at Birbeck University, it's an average Uni, produced some great people so it has that prestige in a way, the uni is not something that'll make jaws drop but it'll make the guy opposite the table scratch his chin, for lack of a better way to describe it. I might do it Part Time so I can grow my own business and gain other qualifications.

  2. Go do an 'Economics and Mathematical Sciences Bsc' at The Open University, it's some uni that the British Government opened in the 1960s, if the BBC is the Goverment's news media, then essential The OU is the Government's university. One benifit is that the Uni fees will be £10k cheaper overall compared to other unis. Same here, might do part time.

  3. Do an apprenticeship in Economics, the Government is working to get an Economics apprenticeship done and if things go according to the timetable, it should be here by the time I'm finished with my A-Levels, however if not I may do Business Management or Accounting & Finance.

Of course, nowadays you gotta work harder you can't be on autopilot, so as of now I'm revising for my A-Levels, learning German and (re-learning) Spanish and learning HTML as well. I have a small YouTube channel which is earning me a pound a month but it'll grow and it has exploded in recent months.

Thank you for your help in advance.
