I've been working on improving myself in different areas of my life. I have gained about 30 lbs of muscle, am fitter than ever and look better than ever. I have improved the way I dress as well. I still have a lot of work to do to get where I want to be, but I have made some progress. Even though I am not great in social situations, I used to have a decent social circle before going into monk mode. Now as I try to re-engage with the outside world, I have found that a lot of my old male friends are acting weird around me. They're flaking, not answering messages, don't invite me to their birthdays anymore, etc. Is this supposed to happen? Is it just my social skills getting atrophied from only working on myself? Should I work on getting new friends and replace the old ones as I make more progress? Thanks!
