I have cut most if not all sugars out of my diet besides whatever comes from natural sources such as fruits and vegetables. My diet has been like this around 9 months now.

The other day my sibling had a birthday and I had a slice of cake. The sugar rush was so intense I had to sit down. It was like doing drugs. But it was better that drugs because it tasted like cake. Colors were vibrant. Like holy shiiiiiiiiii

Is sugars important or is it just unnecessary crack for the body? I know carbs produces most energy. How much natural sugar am I supposed to have in my daily intake?
