Personally, in my opinion, I have been through some mentally tough shit since I was a little kid. Luckily, as I'm approaching my late 20's, I have for the most part overcome most of it, as well as the resulting effects these adversities have had on my overall life. In no way am I as successful as I aspire to be yet, but at least I now have a solid foundation to work from. Obviously I don't exactly know what opportunities I have missed out on if I would've had a more protected and normal life and maybe I would've been just as strong, but I suppose that overcoming adversities has definitely made me stronger- at least I hope so, if not then all the suffering would've been for no reason.

My question to you guys, and specifically dads in this sub, is: assuming you properly prepare yourself and become an Alpha dad, how do you make sure your kids develop that fighting grit that arises from having to fight your way out of adversity for most of your life? It only makes sense that if you are a proper Alpha dad, your finances will be in order and you will be a huge protective force in your children's life, which will result in your children having a very comfortable upbringing, shielding them from the type of adversity that forces them to pull out everything in them in order to survive.
