You definitely don’t need to provide comfort in response; She already thanked you for being so understanding, the (you’re such a gentlemen shit test which I always ignore). Not responding would be a bad move too in my view. She is testing for compliance, and to make you unsure about round two. Your move in this dance play is to flip it and leave her unclear. Some would advise you just say “okay” and let her spin.

I would say “last night was fun. sounds good” and leave it at that. Just focus on the feeling and fog her test. If it is a test (95% based on how receptive she was in the message), then you just let her cook for 3-4 days until she hits you up. If you don’t hear from her after that period, I would then reach out when you want to see her again after that.

Just ignore what she says and push forward into the next date. It won’t be a first date anymore too, so there’s nothing to be worried about on her end. If she still pushes back, you back off more. Good luck.

Firstly, ignore what they say but observe what they do - she says she doesn’t usually do it, but did with you = she routinely hooks up on a first first date, she’s just hamstering and you’re not special.

Secondly, your friend’s response is dripping with blue pill betaness.
