Parallels the 5x5 Stronglifts program. I'll second that this type of routine works. Went from 185 to around 205 over a period of 6 months, with squats going from 95 to 275. The consistency is key, and keeping your ego out of the workout. You may be disappointed when it's been 3 weeks and increased only by 45 pounds, but if you keep at it, people will begin to ask you what do you do to get to where you're at.
