I posted this in the mensrights subreddit. Male victims of domestic violence are typically ignored, and recently, we have started to make plans for a shelter.

For now, I propose creating three teams:

Planning: This team will plan the the shelter as a whole. The best way is to buy and refurbish a house that is large enough. It will also create the name, purpose, find the location, ect.

Finance: This team will manage the finances of the shelter. It will also plan the name, purpose, ect. I created a fundraiser at http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/domestic-violence-shelter-for-men-in-canada/167408 at the moment, which will raise $100,000.

Promotion: This team will contact various subreddits and organizations to promote our cause. Examples include AVFM, tumblrinaction, ect. I would also suggest going as far as to contact sites like Gawker; I don't think we'll lose anything from it.

The activism will mainly be done on mensrights, but I'm letting people here know what's up.
