I'm mostly too critical and judgmental. I'm currently also reading how to make friends and influence people but I must admit, I'm failing to apply it in my own live. Now there is this project and as far as I can tell it's 2 people that fucked something up (both women...). namley they failed to preform correct tests (did exactly one of at least 10 they should have) and now when the system went live it isn't working as intended. Nothing new.

My options are to just STFU and fix it. Credit will go to them obviously because it's for users in their country on the other side of an ocean.

Other option would be to just say "no thanks". I have documentation confirming the system is correct and also no changes should be applied to it once live. Ans stick that to management. Question would be how? And I suspect I will then take the blame for being typical complicated IT person and management will in the end tell me to apply the changes anyway.

OK, I now understand my issues. Hate to see the incompetents taking most of the credit. Better bet to just bite the bullet and do it. Still, now that I have written it down, what's your guys opinion?
