There is a girl I like in my class, I've talked to her a few times but we sit on opposite sides of the room. It's a science lab, as well, so class is spent actually doing work.

This separation results in me not being able to flirt/talk to her much unless I followed her around like a puppy dog, which I obviously don't want to do. I don't avoid her, I just don't go out of my way to talk to her, because usually we are all doing our lab.

Then I thought, even if I DID talk to her, I have no idea how to flirt. Bar, I can flirt, party I can flirt, but in class I can't. Especially since she is in a totally different lab group.

Any suggestions/help?

I also don't want a serious relationship, but would still like to see her outside of class.

So, I was thinking of saying just that, "hey, I'm not looking for anything serious, but I'd love to get to know you better, would you like to go out for a drink sometime?"

I was thinking either a drink or an MLB game, which I know she loves.

Thanks!
