Halo effect.

Being mysterious allows women to fill in the blanks.

If you're attractive, the halo effect causes them to fill these blanks with angelic qualities.

If not, they think you're weird and they aren't curious.

Being mysterious isn't attractive by itself per se. It's like salt, you add it in there to make the food even better, if the food sucks, the salt doesn't help.

Mystery allows the hamster to spin in our favor. When women fill in the blanks if they are attracted to you the blanks go in your favor. He has a nice suit and wont tell me what he makes, therefore he must be rich would be an example of that. In all reality you got that shit from goodwill and were just too lazy to change out of it after an interview at taco bell or some shit. Never reveal more than you have to.

Who cares why they want what they want or feel the way they feel. One minute they're happy, ten minutes later they are sad. You couldn't pay me to ride that roller coaster let alone figure out why it is the way it is.

This one, however, is easy. She sees herself as a princess in a Disney movie. She's Cinderella, and she wants Prince Chad Thundercock Charming to sweep her off her feet and drench her panties. The bigger the mystery around Chad, the bigger the fairy tale she can spin.

Women are like children on Christmas day (except they want every day to be Christmas). They want to unwrap as many presents as possible and they never want it to end. The more mystery, the more presents Chad has to offer in the form of small pieces of information. Chad knows never to give too much though because once the presents stop coming she will look for someone else to start giving her presents and start the fairy tale all over again.

Asking why a woman wants what she wants is no better than asking a five year old the same question.

Simple: women choose their mate based on potential. And mystery is a good factor in potential. Because potential isn't quantifiable, their accuracy is predictably low as you very well have seen. To give you a basis of this, men choose their mate based on SMV, which is basically fertility markers such as looks, shiny hair, hip/waist ratio, bone structure, etc, because women are the ones who will incubate and raise the child. Women, on the other hand, base SMV in men on resources. And because throughout life, men are expected to earn more and more, that in their early 20s when most people do get married and pair bond, that all women have to go on is the potential for a man to provide the resources she needs. So you can imagine how easy it is for women to include mystery into their decision making process.
