Has anyone ever "gone back to blue" ?

I think once taking the pill, you can have periods of time that you may return to a BP mentality. IE, getting into a LTR and over time sliding back into BP ways (usually though becoming too comfortable in the relationship). Then it implodes and you review how it happened through the RP lens of hindsight.

But to answer your question, Id agree, there is no fully turning back.

Once your eyes are opened you won't be able to close them again.

There are people and even a sub for ex red pill but I've never seen anything interesting enough there to challenge my beliefs.

I think that once you've swallowed the pill, you either step it up and raise your SMV or you give up and go MGTOW. Not saying that the two are mutually exclusive, but I've seen some people start trying to get fitter, have abundance mentality, all that stuff and not being able to. They end up kind of giving up on women altogether and now just play video games/do stuff on their own with zero expectations of ever having sex again.

Not reverting, but I do still find myself having blue thoughts or moments from time to time, thing is that, just like with oneitis, now I recognize them and can shut them down.

I'd say when the neurosis has fully healed, a person can "go back" to the blue lifestyle, yes.

It probably has, but anyone who did permanently probably didn't post it here.

I do see many who gave it up and came back though. Guys who started being more red pill, saw success, got in a relationship, and slowly reverted back to blue pill. If course those are usually followed by "and then she cheated on me and took half my stuff, you were right all along TRP".

Depends on what this means. If this means, could one make a conscious choice to ignore what RP teaches and go back to the way they were before they swallowed the pill? Yes, as others have written, this is rather common.

However, I don't think it is possible to unlearn completely what you have learned, so the RP side of you will come out at some point.

There's no sense in hiding it, imo. Even if you aren't terribly proud of it, own and fess up to it. Show others you've changed and become a better-rounded human being.

This is the wrong place to ask. The only answers you will get here are "no," because you are asking people who are still red.

The people who became red, then went back don't check /r/asktrp.

I wouldn't exactly say I'm "blue pill," but I don't agree with a lot of what TRP has to say. I found the PUA community around 8 years ago and bought into it wholesale. Since then, I've stress tested both that and TRP in real life and found both to be severely lacking.

There was a user named /u/broskidoski who had a similar experience, but he deleted his account.

I study evolutionary psychology and neurology in my spare time, and I have enough knowledge of those subjects to see both where TRP theories came from, and where they are flawed. Once you have a solid grounding in that stuff, you realise why the certainty that is ever-presence on TRP is a sign of ignorance, not of understanding.

I'm not trying to shit on TRP here, but I figure the best way to answer your question is to be honest.

After reading, seeing, and experiencing the truth I don't think I could ever go back. Perhaps I'll have bouts of weakness or do something BP'er would do, but at the end of the day you still realize the truth.
