"Men Do, Women Judge."

I don’t know if you’ve heard of KC Crowell and the “Creeper Move” cards she has invented for women to hand out to men at hacker conventions – yellow for being a bit “creepy”, red for being so “creepy” you deserve a punch in the face, and green for being a good little boy who knows his place. Can’t think of any better recent example of “men do, women judge”. Imagine if men took it upon themselves to hand out “slut” cards or “cocktease” cards to women- or imagine if the organiser of a hacker convention banned these cards and kicked out a woman for handing them out. There’d be international protest movements on behalf of the women in either case.

"Imagine being able to say "I object to that. I don't need to justify my objection, you just need to shut up", and have society agree and back you up."

Spot on. And I think it's the underlying issue. From the 2nd to top commentor, but I wish he didn't look like a freaking serial killer because his appearance derails his good information.

thats what I would do if handed this card. cross out creep, write "slut" then hand it back.

Calling a girl a slut or making fun of their appearance is pretty common though. Personally it would grind my hamster even more if a man used similar terminology against me and called me a "creeper," "stalker," "dumpster diver for sperm-filled condoms," "serial infant aborter," "likely to clog my toilet with used tampons," "welfare waiting to happen," "uses breasts and body to secure employment," "only a few years left until your only valuable feature fades" or something along those lines. I mean with stuff like that the hamster doesn't even know what to do, probably just break down and cry.

That's the same reason that the "creeper" shaming is so effective against most men. (Remember that 80% of the male population are betas and prone to the same hamstering.) Its just flat out wrong to do to either gender but I'm all for equal retaliation if some shitty woman is doing that to men.

because his appearance derails his good information

That's pretty amusing. I'm sure those "Creeper Move" cards really just boil down to how they view the man's actions in light of his appearance+social skills.

In order for information to be relevant to women, it would seem it must come from a good looking person. For an approach to be successful and not creepy, just the same.

Yeah that is the reaction I see critics spewing out. "What would he know? Just look at him!!" Which is really just an ad-hominem hamster argument because they don't like what he says.

haha my buddy got one of those cards last year at burning man. he was massaging the back of a girl (whom he later banged out in a zip tie hammock) and a 3rd party girl, noticing, walked up and gave him that.

we decided it would be fun to "gay it forward" and pass it among the other guys at our camp whenever they wouldn't get us more beer.

I would try and collect only red cards.

TyphonBlue is very insightful and a great thinker - her "Threat Narrative" series on youtube was a serious game-changer for me. In a very short time she showed me all the toxic ways our culture treats masculinity, and I've working on noticing and ejecting how I've internalized that ever since.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
