That's another example of women excelling in sales and PR positions. Their commissions are a proportion of male suckers they can lure.

[–]roadywan5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

2nd...It's the same reason female pharmacological sales reps are so successful at selling drugs with side effects like nausea, impotence, and anal leakage.

I think you're a misogynistic ass hole

aahh, a key word to instantly get an upper hand over a man

Said no to a woman? Misogynist, clearly.

[–]TheSonofLiberty-5 points-4 points  (0 children) | Copy

It was also clearly more than just a no, and was actually quite rude about it.

This woman sounds like an ass, but I doubt the, "I think you're a misogynistic ass hole", comment came out of only this interaction. She is mostly likely pissed because of the rest of the content on the Return of Kings site.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Good point, she most likely came in with an arsenal of insults if she didn't get her way.

After reading the email twice, I think it was an attempt by a Tumblr feminist to find out the identity of the author of the article. The whole thing seems like a bait email, hoping the reply would have the man's name at the end. Probably so feminists can attack his employer, and get him fired. If the reality show comes out then I'm wrong, but it seems shifty, but all the points are still correct.

[–]jvardrake18 points19 points  (1 child) | Copy

It's a definite possibility.

Crazed feminists (and other people with their own agendas - let's not be intellectually dishonest, there are a lot of crazy ass people, in general), who have it out for certain individuals, pull stuff like this all the time.

Anyone familiar with the the /r/MensRights sub, will probably be familiar with GirlWritesWhat (for those that aren't, she's basically a woman that is extremely sympathetic with men). This same thing basically happened to her.

She posts her stuff on Youtube, and one or two imbeciles filed a bunch of copyright complaints against her - complaints that were obviously bogus, because she makes all her own videos (she wasn't using anything from anyone else).

They did this for 3 reasons.

  1. Having copyright complaints filed against you automatically gets your Youtube account frozen.
  2. It stops you from being able to collect any advertising revenue.
  3. The legal complaint allows them to gain access to the Youtube user's real Name and address (which could then be used for further harassment).

If anyone is interested in this, you can watch GirlWritesWhat's reply to it here

Christ...feminists are psychopaths. Find me the an equivalent MRA doing the same thing to someone from SRS.

"A man will beat you and abuse you, a woman will ruin your fucking life"

[–]Endorsed ContributorLastRevision33 points34 points  (12 children) | Copy

My god, it's still so incredible to me how indoctrinated into our culture it is for a woman to obtain what she needs by lying and being manipulative; how it's typically regarded as SOP and not something to be frowned upon or judged. Really just incredible- women love the long con.

[–][deleted] 28 points29 points  (5 children) | Copy

And to get mad about it, when they're called out on their poor behavior. If this exchange had happened in person rather than email. It wouldn't surprise me if it had ended in an accusation of sexual harassment.

[–]Endorsed ContributorLastRevision5 points6 points  (4 children) | Copy

I mean, the most likely scenario here is that this chick saw the site and immediately figured that everyone involved is, at heart, a pathetic and lonely kinda loser- immediately charmed and intimidated by her.

[–]TRP Vanguardnicethingyoucanthave18 points19 points  (3 children) | Copy

immediately figured that everyone involved is, at heart, a pathetic and lonely kinda loser

And here's the kicker, let's say that 30 people respond to her "casting call" - she'll request photos at least, and maybe even skype with them before the real interview. She will exclude the 25 guys who seem well adjusted or are attractive. She'll pick the guy that fits the stereotype she had going in - the stereotype that she revealed in her response to his email.

Then she'll interview that guy for an hour or more. He'll start out talking about how he's just trying to better himself and just wants to be happy and to make someone else happy as part of a healthy relationship. But then, given that he's talking for an hour, he'll eventually wander onto the topic of negative interactions he's had. He'll say something like, "yeah some women do take advantage of men, but I mean, that's life, if you lay down on the ground like a doormat, someone is going to walk on you."

She'll edit that hour interview down and what will appear on MTV will be the narrator saying, "So as we've seen in this program, a lot of men think that women are cheapskates. But there's a dark underbelly of the internet known as 'the manosphere' that has some 'interesting' ideas about women. We interviewed hotbelly69 and he had this to say" - cut to an overweight guy in a fedora: "women do take advantage of men" - back to narrator - "right buddy, I'm sure that women are just falling over themselves to take advantage of you. lol!!"

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

This is exactly how it pans out. And the morons who cant move cause their blubber doesnt allow them too so they sit all day and watch rubbish like this will then believe it jump on social media have a rant then it will find a fucken tumblr run by a feminist who will manipulate the whole thing and before we know it the poor guys character has been assassinated before he could even get a word in.

[–]alt303131 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Exactly what you said:

No doubt they'd use selective editing. They'd film a lot of footage, but only use the footage that conveys the message they were trying to get across. It's entirely possible, and very likely, that there would be plenty of video footage that they ignored because it would not be entertaining and help prove their point that men are scumbags. They'd only include the worst of the worst and paint the manosphere as the biggest assholes around.

It be a practical example of the "cherry picking" fallacy of logic, where they'd only pick the "cherries" that they like, and leave the rest to rot and never see the light of day. It's also a form of confirmation bias and looking at that bitches politics and profile we can take a gander at what hers are. No man with half a brain would volunteer to make a fool of himself and help push the agenda that men are scumbags.

In other words, as a viewers you can take very few pieces of journalistic entertainment seriously. Video editors often have done a pull the wool over the eyes of unwitting viewers.

TLDR: Question everything. Be a skeptic. Nothing is ever as simple as what you see. Most importantly don't volunteer to let others make a fool out of you

Perhaps they do not know anything else? Cant earn it? Get it from someone on the promise of something valuable, or something with implied value. Its how they work, its what they do, and its all they are worth. Their entire worth is between their legs, and it isnt because that is all I want from one, its because that is what they limit themselves to.

[–]nSaneMadness18 points19 points  (0 children) | Copy

Exactly, the modern woman's value has essentially become limited to her vagina, because she makes little effort to offer up anything else of value.

Slut acceptance is quite literally a desperate move to keep her only value from becoming tarnished and depreciating.

Fat acceptance (while also being an attempt to make laziness acceptable) is serving the same purpose so that a fat woman still has her pussy value since she struggles to attract anyone.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Dude, this isn't a "cultural" thing, this is a "how woman are biologically" thing.

Women are Flight not Fight, so they wage their battles from a very young age through gossip, manipulation, and deception. I've spent time in several sorority houses and trust me... cliques everywhere ... backstabbing everywhere

[–]shakejimmy2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Many people don't seem to realize that discrimination for (self-)benefit is still discrimination. As long as people discriminate there will be both negative and "positive" discrimination.

What's even worse is the amount of people who purposely take advantage of this.

[–][deleted] 41 points42 points  (22 children) | Copy

Seriously, ALL women want something from men and they are ALL prepared to whore themselves out to get it. The hot ones are just better at it because they have more to trade than an ugly girl.

Once you get over that universal truth dealing with women is easy. If you take care of yourself, are successful, hot women will be willing to whore herself out to you to be part of your world and get the benefits of it.

The trick is to see women as what they are. Wasting assets. What they are whoring is less attractive the older they get. This is why they are so keen on marriage and family, both of those things benefit them, and not you because it gives them a tighter grip. Don't get married, and don't have kids unless you really really want to be a father.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 14 points15 points  (2 children) | Copy

Wasting assets

Known as future liabilities.

[–]through_a_ways2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Spending money on a woman is a deferred expense, which is usually an asset, but in this case, a liability.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Do we amortize the expense over the useful life (ie before hitting the wall) of the asset?

The problem is even the most virtuous person becomes a raging asshole when given vast amounts of personal power plus zero responsibility reddit being a prime example of this, power is the ultimate drug, you may start off small, say charming a guy at the store so you can use that out of date coupon, but it becomes addictive and soon you have no problem letting betas buy you drinks all night because society says it's okay. It's a slippery slope with no consequences until thirty guaranteed.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (10 children) | Copy

Sounds like you're hoping the girl you like is a special snowflake. She's not.

Take a look at r/gonewild at all the "sweet" and "innocent" girls that you see every day that you're super duper sure "aren't like that". What are they doing? They are loving showing their gaping arseholes to strangers on the internet for validation and a power trip.

If you're going to troll then at least put some effort into it. Nowhere did I even hint the "every girl ever has posted on r/gonewild", and the topic has nothing whatsoever to do with "twisted sexual gratification" as you put it.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (5 children) | Copy

Yeah I understand your point and there's definitely wiggle room to the degree women conform to the statement. Some women are blatantly self serving and others to a much lesser extend.

I think the main point to take isn't that women are all whores to get what they want, it's that society allows women to be like this.

Anytime somebody on reddit unnecessarily mentions they are a woman I check their post history. It's very rare to not find them attention whoring with their photos in some capacity.

Funny, that.

From the blog comment section:

See RedPillSchool below:

I don't think so much it's the nice request, it's the fact that when he calls her on it (douche move or not) she instantly reverts to namecalling, showing that she thought this all along and was only being polite to get something.

It is a stretch to equate their messages. His worst label for her was cheapskate. She fires back "misogynistic ass hole".

She did not return hostility: she swatted a fly with a hammer.

You're right. She was just doing what many people do: trying to get free stuff. This was not contested. Yuppies and autistic children are also not a factor.

He pointed out the irony. She blew up. You believe it was justified. I disagree.

Neither of us will convince the other to agree with his position, so we're done here.

[–]Meterus1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Haw, haw, one of those women who it can be so much fun to push their buttons... If it had been me, I'd have been tempted to write back to her and say "OK, I won't write to you again". Then, see if she writes back and says "I mean it. Don't write back". Then I respond "OK, not again, then, like you said", and see how long it keeps going.

[–]Joshua4410 points11 points  (6 children) | Copy

Ok, I'm going to get down voted for this, but...

I read the request that was quoted on the blog, and IMHO it was a politely written request. It did not have a demanding tone at all, and I don't know how a reasonable person could interpret the request as being demanding. Now that doesn't mean the show won't end up misrepresenting the actions and opinions of honorable men, in fact there is good reason to be suspicious about the intentions of the show. However, I wouldn't represent the request as being demanding.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 28 points29 points  (2 children) | Copy

[–]RedSunBlue4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

Bingo, that's exactly how I saw it.

Her reply also smacks of unprofessionalism. Despite what you may personally think about a potential client/someone who can help you, telling them "fuck you" when they don't comply with your requests is incredibly bush league.

A true pro would've responded with something like:

Dear Mr. Frost,

An appearance by one of your readers on our nationally syndicated TV program could be an incredible boon for you and your "Thumosis" brand. I do not think I am asking for something for nothing; on the contrary, I am offering you and your readers a great opportunity.

Please take some time to consider my offer and get back to me at your earliest convenience.

[–]Paxmagister5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

I don't think the article was pointing out her being demanding in the first request. It was pointing out the nature of women to look for free things from men. His response was pointing that out, and he even gave her the means to post her request herself, but that was too much for her, doing her own work. The real story was about her counter response.

[–]keemar0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Glad the writer didnt let her get away with that.

[–]through_a_ways-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

A quality woman would have laughed it off, been embarrassed, or, if truly intellectual, would have pointed out the irony in the initial request.

The main point here is not that she asked for free stuff, but her reaction to his calling her out on it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
