Poor João, the red pill cult ruined his life. Hell, it was so bad that he actually managed to get ruined by the red pill 3 years before the forum started. Now that's impressive!

Here's my favorite two quotes:

Callum*, a 29-year-old from Western Pennsylvania, has a mild case of Asperger’s syndrome and speculates that “a great many” people on the Red Pill are likely on the spectrum.

some ex-users even claiming that they were struggling to come to terms with the fact they were gay or trans.

It's confirmed. All Trans people are autistic! Thanks liberal media!

No one still active on the Red Pill would admit that they are simply lonely, young, or vulnerable.

I'm the head moderator and I was lonely, young, and vulnerable. Until this article came out to warm my heart. Bless you #fakenews!

Seriously, though. Does anybody here really think you can just un-see what you've learned here? That's a special kind of autistic gay trannie to be able to do that.

My prediction is that a bunch of guys read this and specifically took note of Trevor bedding an unusually large number of women.

Uh....Where do I sign up?

You can have the best year of your life: RP took me from a 24y/o virgin to fucking 12 girls within a year.

Incoming subscribers reinforced. Feminism is so preoccupied with exposing "misogyny" and "rape culture" that it doesn't bother addressing what men want to know: how to enter into sexual relationships. Men are saying, "'Respect'. 'Consent'. 'Don't rape'. Got it. Now, how do I get laid?"

It would be funny as fuck if some RP guy helped put the article together by deliberately supplying info that actually helps men.

u/sarc0lupus, you're famous.

But that shitlord never found his true love. Poor guy. He'll live a broken life. Sure, he'll be happy and serene for most of it, but he will have lost so much in the process.

finally someone gets it

oh sure, he will drown in hot pussy and achieve all his dreams while others respect and admire him he being true to himself??????

All articles trashing TRP are just free advertising. There's no such thing as bad publicity in the long run

[–]Returnofthemack30 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

yeah, who would want THAT!? Clearly, there is something wrong with Trevoer. SERIOUSLY wrong!

I've been a critic of some of the contradictions within this sub, but I continue to read it for the rare gem.

I've read that theredpill is a sub that makes the absurd claim that women are human beings, and should be treated as such. My experience of the sub is slightly different. I think theredpill makes the absurd claim that men are human beings, and that they have needs and wants that should be encouraged and grown. To too many people, we are pawns. We are fodder for our governments to discard whenever the world has gone to shit. We are the ones who have to man-up and move on whenever misfortune arises. We are the ones who must be bold at all times, who must approach and master our own destinies at all times. We must be confident, but not too confident. We must be leaders, fathers. We must be good lovers, otherwise we're no kind of man at all.

Why is it a crime to want to excel? What are we doing wrong here, except candidly discussing guy stuff? Do you think, if we had a secret guy-code, and spoke in insinuation, euphemism, and melodrama, we would be left alone? We don't have to do that, because we're human beings and we deserve our own little safe-space to discuss the world as we perceive it. Yeah, there is a small minority of people on here who indulge the extreme ends of opinion, but they are a minority and should not be used as barometers of the consensus.

[–]Docbear6411 points12 points  (3 children) | Copy

They honestly don't seem to care about you or I , or us wanting to excel . they don't care about men wanting to master there emotions, make themselves stronger and more socially viable , none of that.

What they do care about is our aversion to the commonly held beliefs and problems that women suffer through today . Which is to say that once again women should be first even in a male space.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 11 points12 points  (1 child) | Copy

Rollo says it best- they see men improving themselves as a direct threat to their hypergamy. They want men who just get it, who are already self-made. If a man can learn to be like a natural alpha, it undermines their assessment ability:

Men becoming aware of the nature of women is a Threat; and that threat is primarily dangerous because it deliberately confounds women’s accurate assessment of a man’s true value in satisfying her Hypergamous doubt. Educating men about Game, about Red Pill awareness, must be prevented on both a personal level and a sociological level if women are to maintain a feminine-primary, feminine-correct and feminine-dominant social order.

[–]AtlRP9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

If a man can learn to be like a natural alpha, it undermines their assessment ability.

Which is analogous to make-up, push-up bras, Spanx, Instagram filters, etc that women employ to do the exact same thing to undermine men's ability to assess a woman's genetic fitness, but I doubt any Red Pill detractor would acknowledge that little inconvenient truth.

[–]kagetsuki233 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Nha!! They are affraid we create too many 20% and even some 1%. They did everything to control us with their lies, and now we are waking up and chosing the path of self glory and might. It's terrorise them.

women are not the only one that do not like to see us rising, it is not impossible reddit even try to ban this sub if it's gather too many men.

feature, not a bug. Theres always nuances, and differing end goals, hence differing opinions on the same topic.

As it should be, and right there is the only point you need to be aware of for the 'groupthink' mantra. So long as it's well thought out, beneficial for men, and tested in the field, it will be embraced by someone in here.

[–]Senior Endorsed Contributormax_peenor31 points32 points  (10 children) | Copy

“I began to see male victimhood throughout society,” he tells me over Reddit’s messaging service.

Ok, which of you trolled this dumb bird?

So, in case there are any more 17 year old time travelers reading this here "movement," allow me to be very clear about something. Victims are people we care about and feel social obligation to help. A man cannot be a victim of a female conspiracy, because no one gives a fuck if he falls to it or not. NOT a single fuck. If any of you little darlings ever feel like you are a victim, you aren't. Punch yourself in the nuts a dozen times and then get on with life. No one cares about your pain and suffering except you.

[–]Cesare_MA points points [recovered] | Copy

I remember when I struggled, once in 6th grade and once in 12th. No one ever gave a damn. I remember people insulting me to my face senior year. All the people I was close with slowly stopped wanting to associate with me. Those awful few months have burned in my head a lesson I will never forget, that the world has zero sympathy for me.

[–]segagaga6 points7 points  (5 children) | Copy

Bullying was in a way the best thing that ever happened to me. Because it made me realise that most "normal" people are deeply selfish almost to the point of sociopathy. Your friends will leave you and nobody will give a fuck if you're hurt. Learning the true fair weather nature of a lot of people is vital.

[–]Cesare_MA points points [recovered] | Copy

It wasn't even bullying, it was worse.

I spent my entire high school career climbing the social hierarchy. Senior year I held three Leadership positions, was involved in fucking everything, and people I never even heard of knew who I was.

A mix of bad events and me biting off more than I can chew led to some bad times making me struggle and people calling me incompetent to my face. The only thing I did right probably was that I never showed my emotion to anyone and shoved it down and kept trying to better my situation.

[–]segagaga0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

School politics, and social standing are the same processes, just organized differently. Doesn't matter whether its bullying or any other negative state, people will dump you because they don't want to be associated with your unlucky ass, or whatever other justification they invent.

[–]Senior Endorsed Contributormax_peenor0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

A mix of bad events and me biting off more than I can chew led to some bad times making me struggle and people calling me incompetent to my face.

This shit happens to everyone. Literally everyone. Hell, just look at Steve Jobs; at one point, he had half of the western world thinking he fucked up. All that matters is what you do after it happens. Guess who is laughing now, right? Well, if he was still alive.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

So glad I've seen this comment.

I had someone tell me on another thread that "No one that's been bullied would ever not change that if they could" and I was like 'actually a lot of people found it a great motivator, I'm not saying it's pleasant but i'm saying that each of us have different things that drive us - for some it's support, for others it's adversity' and homeboy was calling me a sick psycho!

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's freeing really. Like that child who starts crying over stubbing his toe, then looks around to see no one looking at him.

Stops crying, then goes and deals with it

[–]hahayeahthatscool0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

It's the most liberating and amazing thing to realize. Your happiness is actually in your hands and your hands alone. You can choose to do the things that make you happy and can laugh at the people who think your happiness depends on their judgement of you.

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (3 children) | Copy

The thing that worries me the most is the term "radicalized". Every other instance of the term refers to the process of taking disenfranchised Muslims and motivating them to kill infidels. I can almost guarantee that the usage in the article is specifically intended to draw parallels between the dangers of jihadists and the "dangers" of evil misogynist TRPers. Grow that idea enough, and you eventually get popular support for criminalizing "hate speech" for the sake of "security". The White Knight state strikes again.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's shaming tactics, 100%

use whatever term that carries meaning for us, and weaponize it to encourage us to act in a way they prefer.

It's why 'man up' is so successful. Every man wants to be the best man he can be, so when a woman taps into the shame of not being that, he usually toes the line.

In this case, radicalized = muslim terrorist. No man wants to be that, right?

Funniest part, they have no idea what it means when they use them, they only know it's meaningful for us

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Pathetically the more they try and stamp down on FREE SPEECH and attempt to prevent people seeking out alternative viewpoints, whether distasteful to the mainstream or no, they are more or less ENCOURAGING those who are so minded to shirk society and it's trappings entirely and ensconce themselves into the off-beat world of online messageboards, forums and cliques.

It's like "I'm worried about this fire, I know! I'll throw some petrol on it."

A good parent knows that it's better to let the kid fall off it's skateboard and learn to be more careful when using it rather than tell him riding it is forbidden.

The more screeching I hear the more worried I become for the minds of the young.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I've never been able to have a "debate" with Christians without them casually dropping the term, "radical Athiest". Individuals living by a delusional ideology will naturally assume that everybody else does, too. They believe that truth must not exist, because in their world - it doesn't.

[–]MrTyler_Durden14 points15 points  (1 child) | Copy

Yea I'm sorry but you can't interview a 17 yr old who has been "redpilled for 2 years" (redpill with lapses back to blue pill over these two years guaranteed) and get the truth of this community.

This chick needs to re-do her article and interview once of the Vanguards or veterans of this sub, but they are probably too intimidating for her.

[–]segagaga12 points13 points  (0 children) | Copy

A 17 year old isn't experienced or mature enough to make judgements about the truth of various statements. He needs to go out, find a unicorn, love her faithfully for a few years and then when (not if) she tears his heart out for money or a chad, he will come crawling back. And perhaps a bit more humble and wisened for it.

[–]throw1745332 points33 points  (11 children) | Copy

In a subreddit of almost 200,000. They have managed to find 4 people.

Poorly researched would be an understatement.

And this:

“If you go to Red Pill and you say something that those guys don't really like then they will just delete your comments or just say that you are a ‘mangina’ or a ‘feminist’ or a ‘cuck’," he told me. "They have this social influence mechanism where they pre-emptively invalidate all criticism by criticising people back… and it is typical of cults to do this.” Other Red Pillers I spoke to also mentioned the threat of harassment.

Is just a plain bullshit.

I remember before I first posted I thought something similar - that this place had elements of cult-like thought, and there was a very slim chance I would be able to post - and it not be immediately dismissed, criticised, and deleted.

That didn't happen. And I've been quite open about some things that could easily make people distrust - dislike, or pre-judge me here.

On the flip-side, I can actually see some people being "indoctrinated" in a cult-like fashion. They will read threads and posts endlessly.... have hate and anger towards women.... and lap up all the right-wing political views. But I would bet they actually apply NONE of TRP to their lives - and instead just exist in a little internet world. I could see that being the case for some.

[–]Endorsed Contributorsadomasochrist3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Well honestly it does happen here, because it has to by design. Otherwise the entire forum would just backslide into PPD.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Funniest thing. had a realtalk moment in their 'why is the quality degrading' thread, suggested that it's been around almost as long as TRP. There was no works, no cannon, literally nothing of value to go through. They have a link to a collection of the best post comments... 13 of them, over 4 years.

13 comments, most by red pillers who simply said RP things with non TRP language.

The moderators suggested that I was being contradictory, suggesting that quality was never there, and the hugbox was their biggest enemy.

It's a great lesson in male/female dynamics, now that the MMSLP forums are closed. Mark manson is currently a good one to read as well for females in male spaces.

Ironwood had it 100% in his posts on the male social matrix

[–]segagaga2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

I bet they found way more than 4 people, but only found 4 that would reinforce the female journalist's narrative.

[–]1Your_Coke_Dealer2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

We don't call him a cuck because we disagree with him. We disagree with him because he is a cuck.

Also, the goddamn point is indoctrination. The point of TRP is to learn the proper social conventions so well you don't have to think about them, then translate that into actions.

[–]TryDoingSomethingNew1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

That's assuming those 4 people are even real, because fake news is so incredibly prevalent these days (mostly targeted against cultural norms and men) that I no longer assume such quotes are even real.

[–]Returnofthemack30 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

it's honestly the opposite. If anything, this place doesnt moderate strictly enough...

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Funny that they couldn't find one active RedPiller to talk to.

[–]Karmelion0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Pffft you're just saying that because you're a mangina, feminist, cuck.

[–]Conceited-Monkey12 points13 points  (3 children) | Copy

I'm feeling pretty let down. If this is a cult, we don't have rituals, meetings, group chanting, or even a secret handshake, and no one is shaking me down for money!

Seriously, they interview four nobodies and obviously haven't read squat on the actual red pill. There is no attempt to debate anything, just name calling.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy

I'll take your money. I promise eternal brokeness. That is my message to the masses.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

I'll do one better. I provide free goat head masks, and we can get hookers

[–]Endorsed Contributorsqerl2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Oooh, we'll get masks too and do an "Eyes Wide Shut" themed party...

[–]segagaga19 points20 points  (5 children) | Copy

One thing they get very very wrong, is they think TRP breeds hate and misogyny. Women create the horror and disgust within men and then men, searching for an explanation as to why everything is the opposite of all they were told, eventually find their way to TRP.

Listen up Amelia Tate. I am here because I have been lied to and cheated on too many times to believe the notion that only a few women are bad apples. The whole basket is slowly rotting. Modern women are nothing like the lie that is sold by liberal bastions like Hollywood and the Media. Fuck Trump, fuck Alt-Right, definitely fuck the people who use Cuck pejoratively, I am here for one thing and one thing only, to help younger men not experience life the way I did. Men have feelings, they are often suffering in silence, it is time to help them too. That is some real politics for you.

[–]TryDoingSomethingNew6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

Remember the 2 rules of feminism/women:

  1. It's always men's fault
  2. If it's not men's fault, see rule #1

[–]Returnofthemack31 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

lol i saw a post from two x that had a girl post that women are the ones that most brutally critquie her and hold her back, and then someones like 'well, internalized patriarchy is a thing!' with 100 plus upvotes.

You cant even make this shit up. They are NEVER at fault, and if they are, it's because they're acting under the manipulation of hyper masculine men, or something

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

reminds me of the old article

Misogynists aren't born, they are made

[–]redpill-account1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I think cuck is the lamest and crinegiest insult.

Fuck the alt right

Trump is a huge idiot and his rabid supporters are in it for ego

But fuck the current narrative and advice on men's happinesss and daring strategy.

I've always been a good dude who had to overcome a lot, work hard and successful but didn't know shit on dating and how to approach retionships.

There is so much good info you can take and leave , not to mention if you apply the basic fundamental YOUR LIFE WILL IMPROVE.

These feminist don't understand the struggles of men and think we are toxic for being born and existing .yet turn around and fuck assholes..

I didn't make the game, but I'm gonna learn the rules and play it

[–]_avra7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

How can you unswallow the pill and unsee the truth? Read like 20-25 lines of the article and nearly tried to gauge my eyes out. TRP is here to guide you to be the best version of yourself. Every non-acceptant feminist sissy is more than welcome to gtfo this "cult"

[–]throwawayurbuns8 points9 points  (2 children) | Copy

I've read a fair number of these articles, and the one thing that strikes me is that every single one is written by a woman.

Every single time it makes me wonder why aren't men writing these posts?

If there were so many guys "renouncing their misogynistic red pill ways", why are none of them writing about it themselves.

Surely if Red Pill was so toxic and terrible there would plenty of reformed red pillers writing about it.

But there aren't.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

The one from the UK was the funniest. dadbod guy, who brought it to his female editor, and had to work on convincing her how bad we are, he laid out in the article how she didn't see the big deal at the time.

[–]Returnofthemack30 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

oh man, dont worry ,plenty of men bash the red pill. go to the blue pill sub

[–]Senior Endorsed ContributorFieldLine8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy

Every man on the Red Pill has a different story. However, each of them do have striking similarities. The main one is anger.

Notice that she doesn't bother asking why men continue to hit the subscribe button, despite the extremely negative reputation TRP has in mainstream media.

The whole point of the article is to make sure we don't forget the "women are always the victim" narrative. It's not even like we are arguing the inverse - modern sexual dynamics suck for everyone, not just men. But what's most important to the media is that we stick to the narrative.

[–]lolligagger30005 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

What they really don't understand is that they are helping the manosphere grow. I discovered this place in a thread about the most horrible subs.

[–]cappingPeople6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy

When Trevor decided to call the police, it was he that ended up arrested. “I went from being in my home peacefully to being in a jail cell all because I’m a man and she's a woman. “Now that was a very immoral human being who I was dealing with, certainly not all women are like that but that’s another brainwashing technique of the Red Pill, they say that all women are the same…

If that doesn't make someone swallow the pill I don't know what will. The cuck and hamsters spinning in these people head is amazing.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

The problem with these "journalists" is that they make the mistake of saying "not all women are like that" as though this is a comfort to people who have been through such experiences.

Of course not all women will do that. But all women could. And it's legal. And encouraged.

As long as we live in a world where a woman can easily put a man behind bars on a lie, men need to be skeptical and careful with every single one of them.

[–]yomo860 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I'm still mourning the loss of the alt-right subreddit.

They weren't racists, they weren't neo-nazis or Klan members.

They were normal guys like a lot of us that spoke out against the norm, and were silenced for it. I'm a Hispanic guy myself, we all talked fine and had such interesting conversations about politics whether it was social politics, foreign policy, etc.

Seeing it mentioned in that article made me a bit nostalgic.

If you go to Red Pill and you say something that those guys don't really like then they will just delete your comments or just say that you are a ‘mangina’ or a ‘feminist’ or a ‘cuck’," he told me. "They have this social influence mechanism where they pre-emptively invalidate all criticism by criticising people back… and it is typical of cults to do this.” Other Red Pillers I spoke to also mentioned the threat of harassment.

No shit. You're more than welcome to come on here and speak your mind, but so are these other people. They're just speaking their mind saying your thoughts are bullshit delusions. If we don't, some poor bastard can see your comment and be lead back astray into the delusions of ONEitis and other such garbage.

[–]LordThunderbolt4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

I like that guy Trevor. His ex has him sent to jail, he acknowledges that the red pill is true, but he doesn't want to face the truth anymore so he stops coming. He's like that guy in The Matrix that made the deal with Agent Smith when eating that steak. He acknowledges that the steak isn't real but it's more comfortable than the ugly truth of those rations he's been eating in those tunnels. The best about Trevor is when he said you have to show a little vulnerability to your LTR (Something we actually DO preach here) as if we don't say that here.

I also like the fact that all those RP thread screenshots they share aren't even controversiall but actual truths that they can't disprove. It's also important to note that these guys were on TRP for no more than 3 months lol, and they believed they knew everything to know about the pill. It's like a guy doing only 1 year of med school study saying he hates being a doctor and dealing with patients.

The most extreme Red Pillers even believe that women want to be raped.

I was discussing this with co-workers, when my female boss walked in, and I asked her, do women have rape fantasies. The delay and awkward yes in her answer pretty much proved to everyone in the room that yes they do, and yes I do. I've dated a few more with rape fantasies but didn't get to go on it.

Okay wonderful, so this article goes on about how shitty the red pill is, yet it offers no alternative, no solutions, no strategies no advice. Just 'Red pill ruined my life and I think you should think what I think although it won't benefit you.' Wish a meteorite would purge cancer like this from the Earth.

Those are the guys who know they're obviously raising a kid that isn't theirs but are just happy to be a dad. The kind of guy whose girl has tried fucking you right in front of his face and he does nothing. You hesitate only because you're so shocked he has zero response from massive cognitive dissonance taking hold, and that's just awkward.

[–]Xheneral0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

The fact of the matter is that what we discuss on this forum are suggestions. They are guidelines written by other men who have gone through similar things in life and their words are untinged by political correctness, nor by feminist hypocrisy. TRP cannot be misogynist because it is a set of ideas-- what you end up doing with them is up to you. If all you take away is anger at the world then fine. Better to be angry and woke than placid and asleep.

TLDR: redpill is cult cuz i can only deal in extremes and am unable to form my own opinions, heres 4 made up people with my same disorder.

We don't believe all women cheat. We believe all women would cheat under the right circumstances.

Also, we don't think there is a conspiracy among women out to get us. It's just biology, theres nothing conspiratorial about nature. That whole tirade about us believing the false dichotomy that people are either "good" or "evil" is therefore nonsense.

We don't think all women are evil or all the same.

Why do our opponents always have to straw man us to make their points?

Yeah we're a cult, because cults tell everyone including the members they're trying to recruit to fuck off if you have no intention of being the objectively best version of yourself and to do it by yourself.

Haha this faggot literally just described discourse as something only cults do. Holy fuck lmao

lol this shit cracks me up. Honestly, assuming youre not one of the anger phase extremists, what is there to cough up anyhow? man, i've said this on here before, but everything, and i mean everything reasonable and important on this sub is verified elsewhere. I came here after googling things I learned in my socio-biology class in college (took it for fun). Most of the important tenets of red pill are accepted and discussed in more 'legitimate' settings. Read books like 'The Red Queen' if you dont believe me. If real world experience isn't enough for you, start looking into socio-biological and evo-psych sources. You'll see how much of this is just fucking reality to researchers

Thanks for the free endorsement

For an article that frequently mentions using manipulation tactics and one-sided brainwashing techniques, they rather interestingly avoided asking any existing Red Pillers for their insights.

Rather curious, no?

LMAO you guys are pretty autistic Im not gonna bullshit you. But hey, thats why I come here to bounce on my boy's johnson. It is the autism that keeps me coming back.

You can stop using the words "autistic" and "autism." Wasn't clever or cool, not does it make any sense to post that.

This isn't 4chan.

To be fair, TRP has seemed pretty cult-like as of late. A lot of people throwing around catch phrases like AWALT without even understanding the true meaning. Just like in this article, the poster thinks AWALT seems to mean all women are "evil" or "will cheat", which is not AWALT at all.

The problem with any community like TRP is that the people who learn it's tools and put them into practice to create results will often leave and seldom come back. The remaining members put nothing into action but just circle jerk over rhetoric all day. There's several commenters and posters I've blocked because it's obvious they do nothing but sit on TRP sub all day.

Luckily the mods do a pretty good job of clearing away the filth and endorsing the right members.

Using acronyms sure is cult like. GTFO. Whoops!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
