I've seen this one a lot but I've never stopped for a second and asked myself if it holds any truth. Apparently when you're in an LTR you're doomed to be with someone you won't be attracted to after 4, 5, 10 years (numbers vary depending on the "study").

I can see how this affects a man whose SO has hit the wall, but how does it affect women? I would assume that keeping your frame/staying dominant and increasing your SMV will keep her sexually attracted to you for decades.

What about men who are in an LTR with, let's say, an 18-year old? Women in their late 20s are still far from being unattractive, so I'd assume this doesn't apply to them either.

Do these "studies" hold any truth? Do they only apply to betas who date women who have hit the wall?
