It's strange. I know personally my body looks way better when I'm shirtless but with the 3 girls I was with, they looked way better with clothes. Im not angry or sad or anything, just something I noticed.

You guys notice this too?

You'll learn what clothes hide mediocre bodies and what clothes show them off. Girls know what they've got, so usually you can just write off the ones who have the clothes that hide their flaws.

The high waisted belt is called an "empire line", it's designed by fashion companies to hide a belly and make dresses in particular look elegant on elephants.

I'm not entirely sure how to phrase this but the kinds of shirts that sort of hang off after the chest as opposed to tapering down along the stomach, usually drop to a little below the waistline. Usually worn by fat chicks to show they have big boobs and hope you're too drunk to pay attention to detail.

I'm not up on the fashion terminology, it's more an I know it when I see it thing. Basically there are qualities that a girl has that make her look good naked, and there are qualities that make her look bad naked. Some clothes will show off her good qualities, and others will leave you uncertain. It's any time you can't get a clear picture in your head of what she'll look like naked that she's probably using clothing to obscure flaws. If she's wearing a skirt, for instance, that doesn't make the shape of her ass clear, she probably has a flat or saggy ass. If she's wearing anything with a high waist, she's probably trying to control a spare tire.

Usually the things that will be hidden are the gut, floppy boobs, waist, or ass, depending on which body part of hers sucks. Any fabric looseness in these areas will hide flaws. So oversized sweaters = hide a gut, flared skirts and dresses = cover the ass and leave a feminine shape, shift dresses = hide shapeless body and emphasize thinness.

But also, stuff designed to hold stuff in will help the figure as well. Supportive bras = perkier, contained boobs even if they sag to her knees normally, padded/push up bras = small boobs look larger, high waisted pants = the gut is contained, cinched waist dresses/skirts = defined waist.

And then there's just misleading clothing items like high heels. Once she takes them off her legs will look thicker, stubbier, and several inches shorter. Her ass may not be pushed out anymore depending on her normal posture and she may now have a gut. Add shape wear to the mix and it's really hard to tell what a woman's body actually looks like.

Can confirm. 5'7" weigh 125 but I don't look good naked. I love fall/winter because I can wear more layers and hide the mom body.

Edit: I also work in retail clothing. I know all the silhouettes that flatter/minimize different parts of the body depending on body shape. Every day I am an accomplice to the disguised spare tire, flat ass, and belly pudge. Women will spend hours with me in the fitting room finding things that perfectly flatter her figure. No, I actually agree. The lines my body makes from my gains make for some nice designs, I'm functional, strong, tall, and beastly. Women just kind of exist. Very very few have those indents that I do or my imposing structure. I'm biologically wired to like them but I know I'm the objectively prettier thing there.
