Just get better than you were last week and do that every week for the remainder of your life. Keep getting stronger without getting fat. It's a cliche, but train with the process in mind rather than the end result.

I've looked at standard calculators before and they always under estimate my potential because of my bone structure. My body handled me being 350lbs at my highest so it is capable of handling significant weight which is show by my higher than normal wrist and ankle circumferences.

I'm 5'8" and was 155lbs @ 9% BF - I looked ripped without my clothes on but tiny as fuck with them on. I've been bulking for 6 months and am 175lbs @ 14% BF and look big in my clothes now but not as defined without. I used to be petrified of bulking but I'd argue if you are 12% or less you should do at least one bulk cycle and see what your body is capable of. It's easy to lose fat but not so easy to gain muscle. The 6 pack was nice but I've gotten way more IOIs now with my size than just being lean - its super easy to get down to 10% BF with Keto/IF.

Also fwiw, most people underestimate their BF by 2-5% so do yourself a favor and just get a dexa scan. I got one before my bulk and will be getting one at the end of my bulk and then again at the end of my cut. You can't plan appropriately without having accurate data.

I'm 38yrs old, 6'2" and fluctuate between 185-195lbs with 8% bodyfat. In my OYS posts, some guys said you cant walk around at 8% but its totally possible even at 38. I workout or play sports almost 7 days a week and eat a super clean diet.

I've never had a problem with my health or attraction from women. But I do have friends that are similar height and much less athletic and they still get plenty of attention because they're good looking and dress well. In fact I've had to really work on wardrobe because as I get older it matters more. So I'd say the goal is less than 10% BF and a bit under 200lbs with a solid wardrobe.

I’d say focus on bodyfat and appearance. Less than 15%, 12% is better. 6 pack ripped is best but hard. Somewhere between 175-195, depends on glycogen, water balance, poop. It will be more cutting than you think (you may need to cut to 165 and then bulk to 185)

The only way to get your body fat percentage is a dexa scan. It's a pain in the ass, go by the mirror.

You want sepperation between the obliques and abbs. A solid 4 pack or 6 depending on how your body distributes fat. That's the kicker though, how your body distributes fat.

The ideal number is one where you look good naked.

Ask yourself this. If All my cloths disapeard and I was standing naked at this very second, how do I feel about that. If you feel good, your there. If you feel not good, then you have to ask yourself if you have unrealistic expectations or do you need to keep working.

To answer your question, the ideal body fat percentage is about 11%. That can be maintained without having to sacrifice your life or take dangerous drugs.

Who cares. Can you bench at least two plates? Squat three and deadlift four?

If not your fat and weak. Or skinny and weak.

In either instance you are weak.

The rock was 41 at 6'3 236 lbs 10.5%
