Wife is starting bc pills today...

What can I expect from this?

I've read some shitty things online about losing the desire for sex, among other things.

I'd like some redpill perspective on this.

Go under the knife. Make sure you find a good doctor. Drink a fuck ton of pineapple juice the week before going in (it helps with swelling). It takes fifteen minutes and a follow trip to confirm everything worked. If the doctors good you won't even need stitches.

Some men here are reporting the worst but I think the truth is you can't say for certain (every woman reacts differently) and you'll have to wait to find out if you don't already have any anecdotes from people in her or people in her life (if she's ever taken them before).

My LTR takes birth control (and has consistently since the beginning of our relationship). I've had zero issues. Before her period begins, she wants more sex (certainly a plus), craves a little junk food (she's 5'4", 118 lbs and works out 5 days a week), and wants to cuddle (all things I can live with when compared to some of the horror stories you'll undoubtedly get here). I've been with women who get a little moodly but never one who becomes a miserable bitch so I can't say for certain whether some of these stories are hyperbole, these men are unlucky, or something else.

I agree -

While I was dating my current wife, she was on BC - which is great for care-free shagging with a LTR. Several months after we were married, we began to try to procreate. Within two-three months of her being off BC - her sex drive went thru the roof.
More wet than ever before (I use my tried and true techniques and noticed a 180 degree difference) I told her had I known that sex this good with the only change having been BC, I would have had her off of it and used Clue to track her cycle to avoid her peak fertility cycles. (also, get Clue), track her cycle and moods and you can start to see nuances in her behavior, etc. when she is supposed to be on her cycle, etc.

Wishing you the best

I assume you that you don't use condoms and pull out now, correct?

FWIW: I've been on birth control pills since I was 16 with about five three-to-six month breaks along the way. I'm aware of the research about how it affects sex drive and attraction (which prompted me to take two of the breaks just to see how different I felt) but I have never noticed any difference whether I've been off it or on it, nor have either of my LTR partners. My sex drive and level of attraction to my partner are the same and so are my moods. I realize birth control negatively affects many women but it is possible your wife is like me in which case it will turn out to be a non-issue.

My wife a was dried up moody cunt on birth control. Get her on as low levels as possible is my advice.

There's so much more information now on the effects of bc pills. I'd do whatever i could to prevent my wife from taking them.

15 years ago my wife did take bc when we didn't know better. Screwed her up, so it didn't last long. I think she's still dealing with the affects.

They say mrp is life in hard mode. I'd think throwing bc in could make it impossible.

BC is a deal breaker for me with women.

If a plate takes them, I tell her I don't encourage relationships with women on hormones but don't specifically want to tell her what to do. Plates who don't stop them never make LTR.

My current LTR was on BC for 2 years as a plate. When she got off of them, I was very close to ending things for 4 months because she went all sorts of whackadoodle during the transition back to normal hormones.

If my LTR got on BC, I would end it. Done. Over.

If hormonal bc is a concern for you have her look into getting a copper IUD. it isn't hormone based so it doesn't screw her up, but the copper kills sperm. Pretty effective with few downsides. Some women get severe cramping during their cycle, my wife didn't. The only downside was the string/fishing line thing poking my dick on deep thrusts. They can trim it up a lot, but depending on both of your genital proportions there are limits to being able to avoid that.

Whatever you do, don't let her get that new injection that they brought out a few years ago. My ltr put weight on, became stupidly tired and depressed eventhough she was sleeping 8 hours or more and gave me shit tests galore. We trailed it for 12 weeks. She's off it now because off the weight she gained. I thought it was an excuse for her shitty diet and laziness to exercise tbh. But to be fair she's been off it probably 3 months and has a lot more energy, and has actually become slightly fun lol definitely see the difference in ovulation week. Weight had stayed the same but she isn't ballooning like she was 6 months ago. It's difficult for me to determine weather it's her hormones changing from the bc. Or its just my improvements finally starting to have an affect.
